The hotel

There are many hip venues in Bangkok but this has got to be one of the hippest! Where is it

On Sukhumvit Road, steps from shopping, nightlife and restaurants. For travelling further afield, the Nana BTS Sky Train and MRT Subway are 5 minutes away. Transfer time from Bangkok Airport: 45 minutes.

I love Aloft hotels generally and stayed - happily - at Aloft Bangkok in past years. Rooms and design are great, and location in Soy 11 is quite convenient (can use the bike ride to Nana station). I love Aloft hotels generally and stayed - happily - at Aloft Bangkok in past years. Rooms and design are great, and location in Soy 11 is quite convenient (can use the bike ride to Nana station). Pool is quite small and in the shade most of the afternoon, but the club right next to the hotel is great. Also lots of restaurants in the area. I booked a TEST&GO stay for Xmas 2021 for THB 5.000 per night. Sadly and surprisingly, Thai government suspended the test&go from 22 December 2021 on and I had to cancel my trip to Thailand (2nd time in 2021). I informed Aloft Bangkok on 21 December 2021 that I was unable to travel to Thailand and asked the cancellation and refund. Emails used : "Reservations.Aloftbkk@alofthotels.com" and "BKKALSales@marriott.com". No answer. On 18 January 2022 (4 weeks later), I send again an email and asked the cancellation and refund of my booking. Same group emails used. No answer. On 25 January 2022 (5 weeks later), I send again an email and asked, yet again, the cancellation and refund of my booking. I also send a complaint to Marriott Customer Care about the absence of any reaction from Aloft Bangkok since 5 weeks. Aloft Bangkok finally woke up and asked me if I am sure I want to cancel my booking. They suggested to keep my booking and add a 5th day test&go booking with them (new test&go rules from 1 February on) !!! wtf ??! I repeated, for the 4th time, my request of cancellation and refund. I hope I will see a refund on my credit card soon... Just like Thai Airways, Aloft Bangkok is now on my "blacklist" of companies to absolutely avoid if you don't want to loose your time, energy and money ! They are poor examples of hospitality and respect of their customers. I hope they do not represent the level of experiences one can expect from the post-covid Thailand. The situation is complicated for Thai people, so I hope my experience is an isolated event. Thai people and tourists deserve better than this kind of "Amazing Thailand" ! I am Marriott Titanium Elite member and Hilton Diamond member, with over 150 hotel nights in 2021 (and already 15 nights in 2022) I am aware of the diffamation rules in Thailand and how hotels use the legislation to menace and force international guests to withdraw their negative reviews and request compensation in millions of B. Let's see if Aloft Bangkok is that kind of place... or if they are able to face their shortcomings and apologise... Read less

This hotel and the staff are a credit to the Hospitality industry, In these trying times we were made feel very welcome , The rooms and all the facilities were amazing, any information you needed about anything was prompt. Very nice hotel with terrific staff who provided excellent service. Rooms were clean and they were well organized with the covid test and go process. The bed was very comfortable but I had just traveled 26 hours from the USA. I would definitely stay here again.

Aloft really surprised me, in a good way. I stayed under the test & go stayover. I arrived to the hotel around 11am and my results were with me by 9pm sameday. The hospital staff are situated at the hotel which makes it so easy on arrival. The hotel pick up service was great and done in a timely manner. I waited circa 15 minutes in total after… Read more
Aloft really surprised me, in a good way. I stayed under the test & go stayover. I arrived to the hotel around 11am and my results were with me by 9pm sameday. The hospital staff are situated at the hotel which makes it so easy on arrival. The hotel pick up service was great and done in a timely manner. I waited circa 15 minutes in total after collecting my luggage. I was upgraded on arrival to a nice city view room, which was really good. The staff were the best I've experienced here in a long time. So welcoming and friendly.. The only downside I have is on the Food & Beverage side. The ASQ menu didn't really suit me and food arrived quite cold. As its only the 1 day I can't complain too much though. After release, you are able to dine in at breakfast buffet. This was really much better food the next day (alot of selection). If you continue your stay here, it's a great location and walking distance to Nana BTS. Gym and pool facilities available too. 5* review is down to the welcoming staff! Read less
