There’s a lot to like about the Anantara Riverside Resort Bangkok. The hotel is kept at a very high standard of presentation both in the public areas and rooms. The staff are as good as I have experienced in stays around the world - a genuine warmth. Muse and her team in the Kasara Lounge were better than excellent - nothing was too much trouble and it was amazing service. Daeng was looking after our room on most days and simply a high standard of room presentation. I think the hotel strikes a good balance between resort and the city/sights. My partner eats Gluten Free and I can report the Anantara Riverside and its restaurants are all offering very good gluten free choices and if you let them know your dietary requirements they go the extra mile to assist you with excellent dining. The property has an array of room styles and if it is your first time in Bangkok look for a room with some river view if you are able. Use the hotels ferry and the public transport both River and land is excellent. We always get a Rabbit Card for the BTS when we arrive and makes the train travel easy (you need your passport at the station when you buy the Rabbit Card). We really like Bangkok and its peoples - and staying on the banks of the Chao Phraya is the big bonus. Read less

It’s got all the luxury and service that you could want but it’s not ‘stuffy’. The breakfast is the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere in the world. The beds are incredibly comfortable. It’s a beautiful place.
