The hotel

This Bangkok hotel may be all things modern, but it still gives you the authentic local experience, from Thai massages at Sukavadee Spa to Thai cookery classes. It’s also created its own ‘local’ treats, like the signature ‘tuk tuk cooler’ cocktails on the menu of its super-sleek Liquid Lounge bar. The outdoor pool is set among city towers, giving it the feel of a hidden urban treat, especially when you’re tucking into ice creams from its accompanying poolside bar. But the hotel’s anything but hidden – it’s right on Bangkok’s popular Sukhumvit Road and just a stroll from the nearest Skytrain station. Once you return from shopping or sightseeing, you can choose from the Indian, Thai and Western menu of Tiffin Restaurant, or indulge in the 24-hour room service.

Another lovely visit. Always greeted with a smile and having stayed several times, it is always to see the same staff. Fab pool service meaning we don't have to do anything but relax. Look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

The surrounding area is a bit run down so be careful walking as it’s easy to trip on broken pavements. It is also quite close to the red light district and we didn’t quite realise so spent an interesting evening watching groups of men meeting pretty ladies and going off with them, returning to talk about it etc I am not sure what to think about it. Watch out for your partner as a couple tried to grab my husband’s arm and also my 18 year old son! All that aside it is close to Nana station and the 7/11. Staff in the hotel are pleasant and I didn’t think the breakfast was that bad. We were only there a couple of nights so it was a good base. We did a couple of trips via our tour operator. The train and floating market plus the evening tuk tuk tour - all in one day. We enjoyed that immensely. We also booked the grand palace (don’t forget long trousers and long skirts). Visited the nearby wats. Public transport easy to use. Don’t bother with taxis as they’re too long stuck in traffic we used tuk tuks to do shortish distances. Read less

Would like to give a big thank you to Tom, who took our party of seven out to the floating market and Maeklong railway, we enjoyed our day with him. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Bangkok. Read less

Stayed here for 4 nights just 3 weeks ago. Lovely hotel, close to the Nana BTS station and easy access for taxis as is all of Bangkok. Close to a McDonald's and close to many decent restaurants. We had a connecting room. Both rooms fairly large and nice beds too. It was very clean, we had no issues there at all. The bathroom was spacious and the… Read more

We had a connecting room. Both rooms fairly large and nice beds too. It was very clean, we had no issues there at all. The bathroom was spacious and the room comes with a fridge. We used the pool which was lovely and towels were provided. The breakfast buffet was great too and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative we had was, when I booked online, directly through their website, I was quoted one price, when I received the email saying the price I would pay when we got there, it was different. Its hard to explain, but basically it cost us more than it should've but due to the levels of English spoken, we just had to leave it. It ended up costing us 21,888 Baht instead of 16,416 Baht. Which is around £130 extra. I would be willing to stay here again, but I wouldn't book through their own website Read less
