The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

Premier Rooms have mountain or pool views, iPod docking station and a daybed.

Deluxe Rooms have garden, pool or partial sea views, separate bath tub and shower facilities, and a daybed.

Premier Pool Access Rooms are located within the newer building of the resort and have a direct view of the swimming pool. Rooms have their own private balcony with direct access to the swimming pool and a daybed.

Deluxe Pool Access Rooms are located within the existing building of the resort and also have a direct view of the swimming pool. Rooms have their own private balcony with direct access to the swimming pool and a daybed.

Deluxe Pool Access with Jacuzzi Rooms are located within the existing building of the resort and and have a shower only in the bathroom. Rooms have their own private balcony with direct access to the swimming pool where the private Jacuzzi is located.

Family Rooms are often located in the newer building of the resort and have a direct view of the swimming pool. Rooms have 2 bedrooms, a living room, an iPod docking station, a coffee machine, a bathtub (in addition to the shower), and bathrobe and slippers.

Location was good room was a good standard clean and well kept during my stay breakfast was a reasonable for a B&B staff was always happy and pleasant and reception manager and staff were so helpful thats why i have already booked to go back what a great time i had 😀

Krabi La Playa Resort & Spa. Another wonderful holiday here. Ms Katie and all her staff were amazing. So very helpful and friendly. The weather was perfect which made the holiday even more special. The hotel is perfectly positioned to access all areas of Aou Nang. Looking forward already to next year.

All the staff are lovely but special thanks to Ake the barman and of course the lovely beautiful Katie who really does go the extra mile. Brilliant hotel, very close to all amenities. We upgraded to a jacuzzi pool room, which was large and spacious. We made full use of the pool. There were days when we felt the cleaning could have been better, but it was sufficient. All the staff we met were lovely and helpful especially the lady on the trip desk, who put us at ease when we thought we were going to miss our ferry to Phuket. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, drinks at happy hour were lovely. Both pools were fab, we didn't go to the Emerald pool, but it looked quiet. We liked that the hotel was close to the little night market/restaurants, and within a 10 minutes walk to the beach, there were jellyfish and sea urchins all over so we didn't stay for long. If we were to go back to Krabi, we would definitely stay here again. Read less
