I've never stayed in such a big bedroom with a massive bed and walk-in robe with make up table and mirror. Our balcony looked out over the pool and sea. Wonderful. The staff were very friendly and professional - what you expect from Thai people. The buffet breakfast was extensive - way more choice than I needed - and eating breakfast while looking at the sea view was fantastic. Good choice of bars and restaurants in the resort, though the Lighthouse Bar was closed while I stayed. Otter's Bar has superb views and it has an outdoor area where you can enjoy a drink while soaking up the view. The Italian restaurant on site, which is part of Otter's Bar, serves high quality food but it isn't cheap. The private beach is beautiful, but has too many small rocks to walk into the sea bare footed. There is, however, a concrete path just below the surface of the water that let's you walk out to sea. The day I went in the sea, I saw jellyfish so beware. The beach bar called Bamboo Bar is a great location and has reasonably priced lunch options. If you want to swim lengths, there's a rectangle pool near Bamboo Bar. The hotel is in a very quiet location and there aren't too many shops or cafes nearby. There's a good massage shop very close to the hotel which is cheaper than the hotel spa. Be prepared for an hour's transfer from the airport. As for drawbacks, there's no public bus service do you'll need to use taxis or hire a car. Booking direct will be cheaper than getting the hotel to do it. Bizarrely, for such a lovely hotel the sink plugs didn't work properly! Read less

We arrived to find our room beautifully dressed with flowers , fizz and cake making our wedding anniversary celebrations special. Staff were always attentive especially Issara ( Reception) and Sandy ( The Beach). All welcomed us with a warmth that only the Thai people know best. We stayed full board which is something we don’t normally do but decided on this as at time of booking many covid restrictions were in place with bars and restaurants being closed. Most meals were prepared well and authentic. We had a fabulous time Khawp Kuhn Khrap Read less

A very good hotel to stay at. Staff are awesome and kind and welcoming. We had a couple of “hiccups” during our stay. A very good hotel to stay at. Staff are awesome and kind and welcoming. We had a couple of “hiccups” during our stay. For example air con didn’t go under 25 degrees in our 1st room but we moved rooms straight away and we got a much cooler room so that was great … being from the UK 25 degrees was still “hot” for us … We also had a issue where the panwa house on the beach didn’t have our restaurant reservation which was very awkward so we ended up walking away. However with all that said the hotel did absolutely everything to make it right for us. They couldn’t of been more brilliant with making us happy and even paid for our taxi to our next hotel stop after checking out as a apology and also paid for our meal and drinks on the last night. So despite the hiccups they were more than brilliant to us in particular I want to say that Issara was phenomenal and is a asset to the hotel. Rooms are incredible and to a high standard The only feedback I would give to the hotel is consistency in the drinks .sometimes when sat at the pool we had a small glass ice coffee then we ordered the same drink again it comes in a much larger size. So your paying the same for different sizes. Also a little bit of light music round the pool to give it some atmosphere. Also pool side drink service would be a great touch. And also changing the pool side restaurant menu from a day time menu to night time would be nice to change it up a bit! But thanks Cape Panwa for a incredible stay we will definitely be back! Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. The room was great; good size, really comfortable bed, totally clean, good shower, nice toiletries, amazing sea view from our balcony. All the bars and restaurants were brilliant, for both food and service. The fine dining restaurant Panwa House was a particular highlight. Prices very reasonable across the board and even better if you take advantage of the various happy hours across the resort. Nice gardens, private beach, pool terrace, small gym, lots of spaces that you can use, I really can't say a bad word about the place. We are already planning our next trip! Read less
