We really enjoyed our stay at this 5 star hotel. We chose this hotel because we were in Phuket during the monsoon season and swimming on the main beaches on the west coast was therefore not possible. Cape Panwa is located on the east coast, which also allows swimming at this time. However, most of the beaches are not very attractive there. Not so with Cape Panwa. This has a very beautiful private beach, which allows full bathing enjoyment. In addition, there are of course two swimming pools. The main pool is quite large and can be reached quickly from the rooms. You have to go down a hill to get to the beach. There you will find a wonderful beach with loungers under palm trees, a beach bar and staff that will take your every wish from your eyes. The breakfast buffet offers a large selection from Asian to European and is really very good. The price level in the restaurants is of course a bit higher than usual in Thailand. For what is offered, the price-performance ratio is still very good. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The service is very good. We felt very comfortable there. Read less

I was at the Cape Panwa during the Phuket Sandbox. The place has everything one could have asked for - great view, service, delicious food, comfy bed. I love to wake up to the sunrise, the coconut trees, and the birds. The place, which is well maintained, has the classic charm that you cannot find in newer hotels. It's personal, like home. Three great restaurants on site. I highly recommend Top of the Reef for sunset and magnificent unique Panwa House in a well preserved historical mansion for candlelit romantic dinner on the beach. Abundant breakfasts. We had an unforgettable time, came for 1 night and ended up with 6 nights and wish we could stay longer! Can’t wait to get back! Read less

The buffet breakfast was perfect and the staff lovely; we stayed longtime so they got used to us and knew our demands in advance (tea, coffee, drinks, ...). Same for the staff at lobby who helped out for transportation, car rental, business center, ... I highly recommend this place for couples and families in need of a peaceful place Read less

Cape Panwa Hotel was a beautiful resort to come to during our time in the Phuket Sandbox. We spent 7 days there and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel provided activities such as Batik painting. In addition, the hotel provided a cute little tram ride down to their private beachfront; here they provided opportunities to paddleboard and kayak (some with seethrough material for viewing underwater life). We would advise bringing water shoes of some sort as there was some coral under the water. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive to our every need. Both the Junior Suite and Cape Suite have sea views, although the Cape Suite has a closer sea view. The Sandbox package includes free laundry up to 20 pieces per week. It also comes with an option to include food. Their food was really good. In short, this place provides a relaxing and secluded place to wind down while remaining safe from Covid. We will definitely consider coming back here again in the future. Read less
