Really nice staff everywhere. We loved the evening bartender. Food was good, we ate at the seafood which is main. breakfast was really good! European and Asian mixes with breads, cheesses, hams. Loved the locality - view was one of the best in my life and the beach is nice with homies birds. What is a little bit minus - bad acustice at the rooms, you can hear everyhing. Bed was noisy and there should have be anti mosquito thing. Also you need to know there is a very big (like everywhere on this island) low tide in the afternoon so it’s better to have a room with pool or go somewhere. It’s complicated to travel from the hotel. There is very bad road. You can take taxi from hotel by the sea or taxi (seems like safari cars by locals. Not some nice car) at the pier. If you want to go to the village, resort has their own bus but you have to let them know day before and the minimum is two people. Luckily lot of people are going to the resort. It’s close to the islands and national park. Hotel sent us thank you card with nice present. Read less

Lovely trip on speedboat from Marina to Koh Yao Noi. Staff on board helpful. The Paradise Resort is very small and the beach area only extends to about 600 metres. The tide is in every morning but recedes early afternoon and you are left with a muddy area extending 200 metres into the sea. The water is very cloudy and snorkelling is not on the agenda. We had a jacuzzi room on the hill. Access was up many steps and not recommended if you have mobility problems or are older. There was also noisy renovation work taking place from the adjacent building. On booking it would be better if they indicated that some rooms are on a hill. Perhaps at booking we should have informed the resort that we were both over 70. There are a few restuarants but we only ate in the one directly on the beach. The resort is graded as 4 star but we found the quality of food less than four stars. The resort is expensive for the quality of food especially when you add in the mandatory 7 per cent extra for taxes and 10 per cent extra for service charge. The breakfasts however are very good snd the buffet style caters for.most persons requirements. There are no local restaurants so the Resort has a captive audience. Only small bottled beers are sold and like the cocktails and spirits expensive for Thailand. The on site Massage and Spa was very good and the staff very professional. The rooms we had were spacious and in general clean. The jacuzzi however looked like it hadnt been drained and cleaned recently. There are a few excursions arranged by the resort but if you have mobility or health issues there is very little to do on site. The gardens are well kept and mature and the wild life fascinating. Hornbills lizards and squirrels abound. All in all we would say that the resort is worth a visit but only for a couple of days and certainly not for a week or longer. Read less

This place was awesome, not to mention the setting, stunning. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and they went the extra mile to make it very memorable. Service was top notch the restaurant staff were all extremely cheerful. Tamia in reception is a legend, she was always there when needed and represented your company well. We met her before we boarded the boat, even on her day off she sung the resorts praises. We did a private boat tour and our driver/guide was Jib, this guy is brilliant. He went above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. All in all, this place is a must, thank you. I did read some of the negative comments and just didn’t see anything negative. The grounds are really well maintained with some interesting wildlife that made our stay even better. There are majestic hornbills (birds) everywhere that provided us with a show every morning from our balcony. Kites can be seen at day circling the cliffs and large fruit bats at night hanging on trees by the beach (one of the highlights). Our room was perfect for us, up on the hill and out of the way with a fantastic view of gardens and the sea. This was one of the cheaper rooms and we are happy that we choose it, it had all we wanted including a great sized terrace. The cost of food and drinks is very reasonable. It’s an isolated resort and we were happy to pay for the privilege of being there. Happy hour beers are 100 baht and approx 170 baht the rest of the time. Most dishes we had were between 250-350 baht and we very decent in quality. The breakfast provided was high quality and we wanted for nothing. I rented a kayak (approx 190 baht) most mornings to paddle along the coast, a great experience and a relaxing and interesting way to start the day. Considering the cost of the room, I think it would be hard to find better value anywhere. Finally, the staff were consistently excellent and could not do more to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Read less

This place is idyllic. Absolutely stunning and remote location - it seems as though you are the only people on the whole north of the island. There is just a sense of peace and quietness in the whole resort. Its amazingly still and serene. The only place I've ever stayed where I know I'll have to come back.
