Felt safe on the speedboat. Love the blue turquoise theme through the resort. Great pool. Luggage taken up to room which was high up. Check in quick because passport details collected at pier in Phuket. Definitely ask for a room high up if you want a view of the sea and the hornbills flying around. Bathroom is huge. Next time we want to stay in a plunge pool room! Read less

Surprised to see that a local Thai dish costs same as western food (green curry or pad Thai:~300 thb!!). You are on an island and restaurant manager is fixing pricing accordingly. I find it a bit disappointing as the only option you have is to pay ! No small restaurants outside the hotel, unless you take a cab that hotel would charge 300thb/person.. Read less

I loved the decor of this little gem. All in blue and white, it was reminiscent of a Caribbean resort. Two of us shared a Superior Studio, very spacious with two large beds hung with mosquito nets, an outdoor shower and private large balcony with porch swing and chairs, overlooking the rainforest-like gardens. Great bedding, super comfortable sleep. Food - you're better off with the Thai food, which comes quickly and is pretty tasty. The European dishes, particularly the salads take AGES, and are bland. Good breakfast included in the room rate, although again the Asian breakfast is the way to go. European breakfast very limited on cereals, mostly sugary kids ones, and bacon grey, greasy and inedible; same for the sausages. Live egg station was good. A la carte menu is overpriced. Wrap up some bread cheese and cold cuts from breakfast for your lunch and you won't be missing anything. You can't swim in the sea here, it is very murky and silty and smells once the tide goes out. Tide is in until midday and then retreats about half a mile and you can't even get to the water to Kayak, so all water activities need to be before midday really. Read less

Hubby sailed to KYN from Phuket, myself and 2 young children took the effortless hotel transfer. Hotel is gorgeous and paradise indeed. Excellent for climbers as access to crag is through the hotel. Lots of things to do within the secluded hotel. Food excellent, even my vegan friend managed! Highly recommend, and tons of hornbill birds to watch… Read more

For the first time in a very long time that we chose the right hotel for our girl's trip. Paradise Koh Yao became one of the top hotel we would definitely come back. Not only the view and great scenery around the hotel, right at the mountain facing the ocean but the hotel staffs are also on point. From the moment the staffs welcome us at the pier till the day we checked out every single staffs seem to be for caring. Your staffs service mind in on points. We are super impressed as a lot of top hotels using the excuses for their lack of details oriented but here everyone is so professional and attentive. Food is not the best but not bad at all. Price vibes for food is reasonable. Don't feel like got ripped off at all even the hotel is on isolated island. The breakfast on the first day was great but second day as we have to leave at 9.15am so we came early for breakfast but the staff make so much mistake in the order. Missing so many order. No one looking at guests. It's only a few tables. Anyways over is ok. Only breakfast on our last day made so many mistake. I would like to thank you to Khun Tina at Front desk and the Porter guy which I have to say sorry I couldn't remember his name but he is super helpful and he did the fantastic job with room's orientation. 😊 Will definitely coming back.
