My husband and I stayed 4 nights and can't find much to complain about. Staff was friendly from check-in to check-out. We loved the convient walk across the parking lot to Rainbow Reef for our dive trips. That alone earns 5 stars! We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings. The pool was nice but if you are looking for more of a resort style pool, you can use your Courtyard key to access Holiday Inn's pool and tiki bar. Plenty of nearby restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, within walking distance made this an ideal location for a no frills dive trip. Read less

Stayed for one night on the way to Key West. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. Room was clean and a good size. Ate at Skippers opposite and drinks at Snooks watching the sunset which was a good recommendation. Nice to stay at a hotel in the US that didn’t charge resort fees.

The reception was very welcoming when I arrived. She even upgraded my room to better viewing balcony. She recommended a great restaurant within walking distance. I loved the entire experience, the view was amazing and I will be booking this hotel again on my next trip to the keys

Just finished a three night stay as well as diving next door at Rainbow Reef Divers. It is an older but well updated and cared for hotel. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, AC work better than any and will freeze you if that is what you want. Rooms are large and well appointed. Just finished a three night stay as well as diving next door at Rainbow Reef Divers. It is an older but well updated and cared for hotel. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, AC work better than any and will freeze you if that is what you want. Rooms are large and well appointed. There is nothing to complain about that is within the hotel’s control. If noise from the road might be an issue request a room on the opposite side, we faced the highway and weren’t bothered two of the three nights. Will definitely stay there again! Thank you! Read less

Hotel is great for what it is. If you're looking for one of the resorts that can be found in the keys with water access, large pool, tiki bar, etc. this isn't it. What it is is a good location for exploring the Keys and the local area and having a large, comfortable room to return to at the end of the day. It is walkable to several different restaurants, and also a variety of cruises (snorkling, glass bottom, tour boat, etc.) The pool area is nice but very basic. Sandy area outside the gate on the canal is fun to sit at and watch the boats go by. Again, not a full resort experience but just enough to be your home base in the area. Read less
