Has a pool on a canal. Continental breakfast. Nice people working there. Pretty quiet. Garage parking. Saw manatees. We have stayed there a few times when it is available. Rooms have been updated. Convenient location to everything.

The pillows, mattress and comforter are honestly more comfortable than any other hotel I have stayed at. They always provide delicious fruit infused water in the lobby. They have delicious cookies and popcorn available for free in the lobby as well. The pool area is always kept clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, around 3 different restaurants/bars within walking distance. In the parking lot there are three charter companies that take you to different coral reef locations/ fishing trips (at an additional price but the boats take off right on the marina that the hotel is next to). I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Read less

I specifically stay at this hotel due to its proximity to Rainbow Reef Dive Center boats. The rooms for the most part have been updated however no love was shown to the bathrooms. Due to the tropical weather some painting peeling and rust are present but that shouldn't discourage you. If you require quiet first floor rooms that Overlook the pool… Read more

The best views are the marina views, and you will get nightly entertainment from Skippers across the the way. Read less

The hotel itself is very nice and convenient to the attractions in the area. The "Problem" occurred the next day. Upon checking in, we asked for a late checkout. As a Titanium Elite Marriott member we have up to 4pm and we arranged that with the desk clerk. She typed it into the computer and there seems to be a "book" that it was written into as well. The next morning, we put the "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door and headed out to the boat. We returned about 3pm to get our stuff and check out. We could not get into the door so went to the front desk and got a key. Went back up, opened the door, and a new family was already checked into the room. Mistake 1 (giving a key out to an occupied room). Went to the front desk to ask "what is up?". The desk clerk promptly lied and said we checked out at 1:22pm. Considering we were on the boat until 2:30pm, that is physically impossible. Mistake 2 (lying, just flat out lying). The desk clerk held fast to her lie. Mistake 3 (going with the lie). The next shift arrived, the nice desk clerk who checked us in the evening before. She said out load that we had the late checkout and it was written in the "Book". The "bad" desk clerk (Ms. []) said it was not in the "Book" Mistake 4 (continual lying). At that point, we just wanted our luggage. It was not where you think it would be, that little room close to the front desk where they store luggage for later pickup. No, it came down the elevator from the cleaning crew in garbage bags. Mistake 5 (I don't know whether they were just going to keep the stuff or throw it out). Thankfully we got everything and were able to go home with our garbage bags of luggage. There was no manager on duty. Mistake 6 (no management). Why would you leave a desk clerk like that unsupervised? Overall, Marriott management failed miserably. Personally I would fire that employee immediately before Ms []causes anymore damage. My next call is to the manager who takes weekends off and the leaves the hotel unsupervised, Mr. []. The other front desk clerks were very nice and accommodating. Even the maintenance man was nice during this ordeal. Why is the maintenance man having to do client relations for a bad employee? I would not say that this is a bad place to stay. If you do, make sure that the front desk knows when you are going to check out, tell them again in the morning, leave a note on the door when the time you are checking out, put the "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door, pack all your stuff just in case they take it out of the room, be prepared for this to happen so you are not shocked if it does. The hotel is smaller than most Courtyards but it’s right on a marina so if your looking for a clean place without paying a crazy rate this is a good option. There are plenty of good restaurants around and, of course, all the tourism water activities right outside at the marina
