We stayed here two nights - great location. Nice pool area. Only issue was there was a weird smell in our room. Went and told someone and thought it was fixed but came back the next day. Other than that it wasn’t bad.

Question IHG staff that don’t stand by their word and honour what they say: see escalation and listen to the recordings of Nov17 and Dec04. Not the way I conduct business nor do i wish to interact with anyone who doesnt stand by their word. I was given one rate, told I could book my flights and then call back and I would get the same rate. I did not tell the rep to say this to me. So I booked my flights only to find that IHG would not honour that rate because there were no more rooms left. IHG Agent on Dec 4 left me a message to say that IHG would provide a check for the difference approximately $450 and to just call after i had checked out. The hotel manager made an inquiry on my behalf and he confirmed what was told to me, that IHG would cut the check after my stay(and after I had paid!) So i in fact called on Jan 10 and was told by Junior that they would not be providing the cheque. Junior states that I could have looked for a cheaper rate. Junior failed to listen to me state why would I look for a cheaper rate when I was told on Dec04,19 that IHG was going to honour the rate and cut a cheque . Next stop trip advisor! Its’s not what you say, it’s how you behave. I didnt ask for deals, discounts or rewards. All I was looking for was to have IHG staff stand behind what they said. I felt betrayed when IHG had all the recordings at their disposal. Your staff’s lack of business acumen especially at the corporate level leaves me to not want to do business with your organization. I was not looking for handouts-just for IHG to stand behind their word. I had two encounters with a Agent Jr on Jan10 and Agent on Jan 13 that failed to understand what was told to me on Dec 04, 2019. A small cost to me as I travel quite a bit but a good story to be told to my friends and colleagues, and fellow trip advisor participants. Oh by the way Agent Jr and another agent, thanks for letting me know that rates constantly fluctuate; I was hoping you informed me of something I didnt know. I never told the IHG REPS to say what they said to me. I was just asking to IHG to stand behind what they say. Obviusly not up to the task! Read less

I chose this hotel as a quick overnight stop on our way from Fort Lauderdale to Key West. I figured we just need a clean place to sleep, how bad can it be? Very bad, actually. The gentleman at the check in desk was rude and disinterested, fine I get it. We arrived quite late everyone gets tired. Our room is on the second floor and there is no elevator. My husband had to haul our suitcase up the (dirty, wet) staircase. The set up is more motel than hotel. Now to the actual room. It smells so bad I am gagging. The room is dated and the bathroom is dingy with cracked sink and tiles. The fan next door ;at least that’s what I believe it is so loud I’m lying here wide awake. While our fan clicks on and off loudly. I do not expect to get any sleep tonight and I would never stay here again. We paid over $200 for this! Read less

We had team meeting here. The crew was very careful and we got everything we needed to run a great offsite meeting. From checkin/checkout to food supply, from rooms to special requests, all worked well. Of course the hotel is not new, and it does not meet world class level, but the crew did their best to compensate for this.
