Hilton Cocoa Beach

Cocoa, Gold Coast Beaches

The hotel

Enjoy unparalleled comfort in a blissful setting at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. Each and every guest room is beautifully decorated with all the mod-cons and feature the renowned Hilton Serenity bedding to ensure a restful stay. A highlight is the oceanfront pool deck — it’s the largest on the Space Coast! Grab a drink from the bar, that book you’ve been meaning to read for ages and rest awhile there, soaking up the sun. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in the Tiki bar, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

I am a current guest and am looking to relocate to a different hotel. I am a longtime Hilton lover but this “hotel” is not up to snuff. The quality is more in line with a motel. The view is amazing! That’s it for the positive comments. I have stayed here before and although the hotel is in desperate need of a complete renovation, at least the service quality was there. I would compare this hotel to a 2 or 3 star, definitely not a 4 star. It starts with check-in. I am older and because this is a Hilton hotel I expected bell service to be available to help with my luggage. Nope, not available and definitely no valet services. The room temperature was set at 67 degrees and the room was freezing. I turned up the temp and called down and asked for an extra blanket. I waited and waited and finally fell asleep. In the morning I found that the blanket had been left outside my door. It would have been really nice if they had knocked to let me know it was there or called me. The room itself seriously needs renovation and the previous renovation is shoddy with very poor workmanship. Whoever did the caulking should be fired. There is a hole in the ceiling of my bathroom...is there a camera? There shouldn’t be a hole there. Breakfast was also not pleasant. Instead of having guests wear masks and making them put on gloves to get the continental breakfast, just get rid of the buffet and serve the guests! Nobody wants to eat breakfast with used rubber gloves on the table! Covid is no excuse for bad service! Definitely would not recommend for the price. Read less

As previously mentioned in other reviews, this Hilton is an older hotel....and shows it! During our visit, there appeared to be a lack of staff and closures due to Covid 19 concerns. Very pricey considering.

This place fit the bill perfectly. Location is why we tried the Hilton over the hotel we typically stay. It's fantastic, just a short 'board walk' away. The on-location beach services were very handy too, allowing us to squeeze in every second of beach time we had available. Every staff person we encountered, was professional, polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. When wearing masks, bright eyes, and tone of voice are everything. We received drinks and food @ Longboard quickly and accurately. On the advice of our server @ Salt, I had the Caramel French Toast. Just Bravo! Venture out from the buffet (also good) for a real treat. Front desk staff recommended Papa Vito's for Italian. Highly recommended too. We will be back! Read less

We stayed at the Hilton from Dec. 30 through Jan. 2. This was our second time visiting this hotel. The location is great. We have small children who love the swimming pool and playing on the nearby beach. The food and service at Longboards was always good. We had a strange experience with the manager of Longboards who tried to rush us off our table as we waited for our dessert. We wrote that off as a person who was being overwhelmed with customers waiting for tables. It was still not at the expectation we had come to expect compared to the rest of the restaurant/bar staff who were excellent. Breakfast was also good. The wait staff there was super friendly and made us feel safe and healthy using the buffet. We found our room to be large, clean and mostly quiet. The only major negative experience we had was with the two people working the coffee bar: Brandi and Thomas. On New Year's Day my wife approached the coffee bar to order some coffees for she and I and some treats for our children. The bar wasn't overly busy. Immediately she was greeted with a scowl by Thomas, who actually cut her off half way through the order to tell Brandi something unrelated to my wife's order. Brandi then made a few snide comments about my wife and actually stated that she doubted my wife would even tip her. When she handed my wife our drinks, my wife was very upset at this point and started to walk away. Brandi then said "You're welcome" sarcastically. At this point my wife, who has 20 years of customer service, along with a business/marketing degree, approached two of the managers and let them know about her poor experience. We weren't convinced that any disciplinary action was taken since both Thomas and Brandi were back at work the next day. The managers should have taken my wife's name and followed up with her, the least should have compensated us in some manner for the poor experience. This experience certainly effects our decision about coming to this hotel again in the future. We spent a lot of money over a three day period and could easily spend that money elsewhere. Read less

First, great location, great beach area, plenty of parking. This is an old Hilton, they've done what they can with updates, it's still an old building. We booked oceanfront room, was clean, quiet, comfortable - NOT worth what was charged, especially on a Wednesday. (and not before a holiday). Digital key didn't work. We probably would stay at one of the newer properties in Cape Canaveral our next stay. Read less
