The hotel

Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in the Tiki bar, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

Older Hilton brand hotel; location is quite good and the tiki bar is really outstanding. Overall rooms are pretty nice and I'd guess they were renovated 3-5 years ago just from the looks of things (2018ish). Was here w/ in-laws (went better than it might sound) and it was pretty nice. Overall rooms are pretty nice and I'd guess they were renovated 3-5 years ago just from the looks of things (2018ish). Was here w/ in-laws (went better than it might sound) and it was pretty nice. Good mix of available items; pool is a bit underwhelming and some tag system should be used. Did see a few members of the public getting into the building and causing a ruckus, which was not ideal. Staff were pretty good; was able to use F&B Credit without issues and hotel was just very crowded (good for the economy) esp. on the weekend; weekdays a bit less crowded. Continental breakfast was pretty good, but not incredible. Kinda what I'd expect from Hilton brand hotel. Summary: Hilton brand hotels can vary quite a bit in terms of quality; this one is in the lower third, but still pretty nice. Less convention focused than most cuz it is in a smaller area, which is a plus in our book as more leisure focused travelers. Location on the beach is top notch and is reasonably quiet compared with further north in Cocoa Beach. Read less

Do not book this hotel ! It was a nightmare …. We were celebrating Mother’s Day ! To start there was hardly any parking spots There is no privacy for hotel guests They allow the public to park in their premises and use their swimming pool, restaurant and bar Plus there is no private beach either. They rent out their beach chairs and umbrellas too. We had a horrible experience with a homeless lady coming into the swimming pool to urinate while we were swimming. Then another family came in to have a pic nic with mangoes and started washing their hands in the pool. Afterwards we went to our room to shower and request room service to find out we had to come down to pick up the food because there was no room service. Bad experience ! Read less

Was a good night's sleep, but being awakened by the construction crew renovating the tiki bar deck at 6:20 am was annoying. Also disappointed that the oceanfront rooms did not have balconies or windows you could open to hear the ocean. Staff was not nearly as friendly or helpful as most Hilton locations. I would recommend staying at the Hilton oceanfront in Melbourne instead, which is just a bit farther south. Don't waste your money or your points on oceanfront, it's not worth it. Read less
