The hotel

Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Construction noise too much of a burden….

The property seems dated and the construction noise was just too much to bear. The pounding and drilling just reverberate throughout the place. There is no good time to do work on a property when guests are staying there. My Hilton Honors status meant nothing to the staff at check in to try to get me a room as far away from the work being… Read more

High prices, teeny tiny rooms, few amenities, great staff. Good access to the beach. they charge for parking where almost no other places do. The decor is dated even though it has just been redone. Suggest looking at VRBO.

Stayed for just one night but was extremely impressed with the hotel and Amenities. The hotel is immaculately clean and staff were very friendly. Nice addition to have the Starbucks on site and the breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

I reserved and paid in advance for two nights in October. A few days before my stay I received an email that there was construction going on, and there may be some noise. Since the notification came so close to my stay, I did not have much choice but to stay since the notification was so close to my stay. I have been at several hotels that have had construction and didn't think it would be a big deal. I couldn't've been so wrong. There was a message on the website and the lobby that construction was from 9a-6p. Each morning at 8am sharp it sounded like a jackhammer directly over my room and it definitely lasted past 6pm. I promise I am not exaggerating. I talked with several other guests who felt the same way and were upset at being woken up at 8am. I truly understand the need for hotels to renovate, but if the hours our 9-6, that needs to be honored. I still feel like 9am is too early but that is much better than 8am. I am not ok with paying full price to be blasted awake every morning at 8am. I was told the room had a coffee maker and refrigerator but there was none to be seen in my room. It wasn't until my second night, I realized that if I closed the sliding door to the bathroom that it reveled the secret coffee/refrigerator area. Since I was staying by myself, there was no reason for me to close the door to find this secret stash. I only found out about this through another guest. I was finally able to store my leftovers in the refrigerator, but then the power went out in my room. I am assuming due to the construction. My left overs were ruined, and I had to go out that night for dinner. All of that being said the Tiki Restaurant was very nice and relaxing. There were numerous lounge chairs and couches on the deck past the restaurant that you could eat and drink at and it was very nice. Sitting on the deck with the fire going was very relaxing and the ambiance was fantastic. There were also several restaurants in the hotel which was a plus. I was able to get a late night pizza and chill on the deck, which was very nice. I wouldn't completely wright this hotel off, but I do feel like I was sold a poor bill of goods for the price I paid. This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Friendly staff at checkin, bar and restaurant. The tiki bar is huge and plentiful, beautiful outdoor furniture. This is the best hotel I have ever been to. Friendly staff at checkin, bar and restaurant. The tiki bar is huge and plentiful, beautiful outdoor furniture. Band played both nights and it was super crowded, but there was enough seating for everyone. They have another bar right on the beach so when playing games and swimming, you don’t have to walk up the boardwalk to the tiki bar. The food at the restaurant and tile was very good and very reasonable for being on the beach. I highly recommend this hotel. Read less
