The hotel

Whether it’s a relaxing break after a week in Orlando’s theme parks you’re after, or a perfect spot either side of your Caribbean cruise, Hilton Cocoa Beach is an ideal option to add on to your trip for a few nights of chilling out on the waterfront. The oceanfront pool deck is largest on the Space Coast, and accompanied by the Tiki bar offer up the chance to relax and unwind in the sun with a cocktail in hand, overlooking the sparkling Atlantic. If you’re still after something more to occupy the family; the hotel is just minutes from Kennedy Space Centre to keep the kids both educated and entertained. Water sports including surfing, boogie boarding and snorkelling. Kid-sized boogie boards are also available as well as surfing lessons for all ages and skill ratings. Alternatively, grab some team mates and get stuck into a game of volleyball. Salt Restaurant overlooks the ocean and is a favourite hotspot for seafood, steaks and traditional fare. Before you settle there for the evening, however, enjoy a drink special in Longboards Tiki Beach Grille, listening to some live music perhaps. In the Salt Lounge you can catch up on all the latest news from NASA and, if your holiday coincides with a rocket launch, just head outside — it’ll be easily visible from the beach!

This was a terrible stay. Our rooms were located in an adjoining room to a sports team. The young players were allowed to congregate in the room next to us. It was terribly loud from early morning to all hours of the night. In addition, I came home with several spider bites covering my arms.

Beds are on the hard side. Rooms are serviced daily. Water pressure and temp good morning and evening. The Longboards restaurant is great for a quick evening meal. Gelato is nice after a long day. The laundry room is great when I need to travel with just a carry on. The workout room covers the basics. The pool is okay but on the ocean side of the hotel and is always busy and windy. The beach is accessible by a raised walkway. I would recommend not staying on the first floor since you will always have your curtains closed. Rooms on the third floor are at roof level and offer really no views. When I experienced a temperature issue with the room they sent a tech right away. the issue was never resolved but he did try. A very solid 4 star experience. You will have a great time. It is clean, contemporary, a great location, the staff were helpful and efficient, and the deck/tiki bar area is great. However $300 per night gets you a small room with a view of the parking lot. No microwave or iron and poor coffee in the rooms. Parking in their outdoor lot is $15… Read more

Located a 20 min drive to the cruise terminal and right onto the beach made it a sensible choice for an overnight stay. Rooms are a little outdated and somewhat spartan, bathroom was an ok size. Located a 20 min drive to the cruise terminal and right onto the beach made it a sensible choice for an overnight stay. Rooms are a little outdated and somewhat spartan, bathroom was an ok size. It was more than cozy for 4 adults in one room. Breakfast somewhat disappointing as the buffet had little choice, and off the menu was average when it turned up. On the plus side, he beach is mere steps away and has a small but nice deck area for drinks and a pool. If you don’t have a car, there is nothing within walking distance as alternative eating options. Would I stay here again, yes, probably but only for a short stay. Read less
