Don’t hesitate to book your escape here! The rooms especially courtyard suites are perfectly old school retro modern and comfortable beyond words. This is a smaller Hard Rock which is so nice and the beautiful small resort vibe is so unusual and adorable and cool...very cool. We’ve stayed in outside courtyard suite 105 and mezzanine courtyard suite inside 207 and both have been beautiful. Each suite has a few famous band artwork pieces hanging and both of these rooms had one Beetles picture. One with the young beetles in the pool and the other sergeant peppers lonely hearts band and for my Beetles loving husband, this was really cool. Awesome spa, great iced mocha latte, really spectacular lobby and common areas, delicious steak dinner with caring staff in the dining room. Staff really can’t do enough for you....constantly sweet and helpful. Private a Beach....in Daytona! This is just a Win-Win-Win-Win-Win.........! Read less

We were here for Bike Week, so I assume that's why we paid premium rates for our stay, but it was still overpriced. The hotel is beautiful, rooms were new and nicely decorated (we had an ocean front king suite), and the staff is very friendly. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, so the room was decorated with balloons, rose pedals, cake and champagne when we arrived (nice touch!!). The beach is beautiful, although look out for washed up jellyfish. Not sure if they can sting you when they're dead, but they are everywhere. The pool areas are nice and the food/drink service is excellent. Hunter was our server and he went above and beyond finding the drinks we wanted and staying on top of refills. So professional and courteous. Unfortunately if you stay on a weekend, be aware that there is live music and it is VERY LOUD! I read this in other reviews and didn't think it would be too bad. Unfortunately the bands they had when we stayed there were not good and made it their mission to make sure everyone in Daytona could hear their "music". When paying $500/night for ocean front, we were very upset to have to listen to the music until almost midnight (in the room with the doors closed). Also, the food at Sessions restaurant does not meet my expectation of fine dining. We ate there two nights and both nights the food was below average. Others that ate there the same night said the same thing. Read less

I wanted thank hard rock daytona for the great hospitality. During a very stressful time in the world they made all the worries go away. From the valet, front desk, security and everything in between ive never had this great of an experience before. Tator truly made the day extra special with gifts for when we arrived for my daughter and son after Disney plans were canceled due to covid-19. She went and above and beyond for us and that is something I truly appreciate. Joe in valet helped us unload into our room and was a very kind man. I wish we could of stayed longer but that one night made my daughters 4th birthday a memorable one. Kids now keep asking to go back to the rocking beach hotel. So we will definitely be back again soon once the world is back to normal life. Thank you to all at hardrock once again. Read less

We arrived March 14,2020, the last day of bike week and the beginning of the coronavirus experience. What you need to know: The staff went out of their way to make our stay safe and enjoyable. Joe helped us navigate the bikers as we arrived and checked in. He couldn't have been more helpful. Poolside, Leary and Nathaniel were always available to assist in any way needed. When a situation arrived, and I needed to speak with a manager, Ben came immediately to listen to my concerns. The food poolside and in the restaurant was very fresh, with several healthy options. The D J poolside each afternoon was a nice touch as well. I wish I had noticed the name of the wait staff that work in each area. Each one was very professional. The only downsize to the hotel is the storage in the rooms. Two females were in an ocean view double queen size bed room. The closet and few drawers were not enough space for our items. Just pack accordingly. The $39 resort fee on top of room rate was a little pricey However, it would not stop me from booking this hotel again. The location beachfront is wonderful. I highly recommend the ocean view room. We also had a city view room that was a little larger, but you did not have a balcony with an ocean view. Read less

Everyone very accomodating and made the best of the stay. Ben at the front desk was top notch! Very outgoing and upbeat and created such a good first impression and maintained that throughout our stay. Also, Dani with security went above and beyond to assist us with the spa being closed b/c of the pandemic. I sure hope we can return when we can enjoy all this hotel has to offer! The vibe here was a very nice break from the chaos that was going on around us! Read less
