Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Daytona Beach, Gold Coast Beaches

Virgin rating

The hotel

The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

We have been staying at the Hilton Daytona Beach for years. Although the rooms could use a little update, they are always clean and spacious. The location is central to everything in Daytona, and the beach is beautiful! The breakfast at Doc Bales never disappoints. Jody is our favorite server! Jody is extremely personable, takes the time to get to know you during your stay, and learns what you need and exceeds your expectations! We have recommended to management that housekeeping be provided for stays over two days. We were required to ask for housekeeping on our four day stay and did not receive it even when requested. However, management did provide concessions since we were not provided housekeeping. We will be back! Read less

My wife called the front desk and a maintenance guy came and attempted to dry the floor. Within a hour it was wetter than it was before he attempted to dry it. The next morning I called to the front desk and spoke with Brooke, the manager on duty, I asked her if there was anyway I could get them another room because that room wasn’t safe health wise . She advised me that she was sending house keeping to the room to check it out. House keep showed up and asked if they needed towels. Nothing was done and my family did not show for the rest of their stay. Also the windows were dirty and the bathtub had rust in it. Read less

Gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes were spectacular. Then you hit cheesecake topped with sugared Walnuts and a pumpkin sauce. Yum! Read less

Stayed at Hilton on the beach. Beautiful views while we ate breakfast. Tina took lovely care of us. Coffee never empty . Great service and sweet lady. The valet service was a little tricky. Gets very busy. The room was clean . The live music was good. And the bartender were on the ball.

This hotel is okay at best, lots of dings and paint chipped around the place. Our room was not as clean as we would have liked and the elevator in the main lobby sounds and felt a little rough. Overall it was decent enough for one night, but not sure I’ll be paying Hilton prices for mid grade rooms again.
