Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Daytona Beach, Gold Coast Beaches

The hotel

The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

My daughter checked out of her room and left an item behind that was very dear to her. Steve Hastings went above and beyond to help me retrieve this item. Truly a very caring man who aims to please! He deserves recognition for his kindness and work ethic!

Friendly staff. For the price of the room $400 with fees I expected an updated room. The carpet felt very dirty and the bathroom was old with rust in the tub. Our roof view had dirty diapers and orange peels. Lobby was nice but the rooms really need some work.

Obvious great location on beach with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel is tired and really needs to be refurbished. I've seen nicer rooms at one star hotels. Definitely did not seem like a Hilton. Had a suite but it was not one in a real sense, only a large room divided by a glass door that was hard to open/close. If one wants to say up late/get up early, can’t do it without disturbing other people since it is a "GLASS" wall. Mini fridge was nice but it was sitting on the floor, which beside being a bit tacky is really inconvenient. Staff was nice but they seemed to not have enough employees, always a long line at front desk and valet. Had to call three times to get a blanket. Parking across/down the street was not optimal but functional. Most people don’t wear masks which we really don’t care about but when they stuff in the same elevator as you, it just becomes a Covid spreading location. Finally, Gold/Diamond members receive $ 10 a night vouchers, which pays for half of a very limited buffet breakfast, guess better than nothing. Read less

Just two rooms left on busy spring break/college cheer/dance championship. Was expecting noisy young rowdy crowd. It was certainly full house, but our room was top floor away from elevator. Surprisingly quiet, amazing view of the beach and enjoyed the polite exuberance of the young crowd (mostly college cheer and dance teams). We are in our 60s,… Read more

Surprisingly quiet, amazing view of the beach and enjoyed the polite exuberance of the young crowd (mostly college cheer and dance teams). We are in our 60s, so were a bit concerned. But all was well. Great overall hotel experience and Mrs unexpectedly got to watch her Alma Mater's dance team compete. Go Weber State Wildcats! One unusual with handle to adjust shower temperature (dropped a rating star), but otherwise great room. Amazing beachfront hotel. Read less

They need to get out of the eighties....no services for families...restaurants are horrible....rooms are even worse...someone needs to teach them how to cook food and set rooms...the pool area is an even bigger disgrace....umbrellas have not been replaced in 15 years probably...the lobby is a disgrace....they survive on college competitions and other regular events i think but not sure....being a diamond member does not even matter to these folks..stay at the plaza or hard rock..,highly recommended vs these guys...
