Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Daytona Beach, Gold Coast Beaches

The hotel

The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

Which makes matters worse is that the management could care less. I think this is a general theme of this hotel. They gave us two nights a valet parking and some breakfast coupons. Then the general manager or his assistant would not return any emails or phone calls in regards to the situation. They had no interest in making things right. And if you read all the reviews this is a theme this place is an actual dump do not stay here unless you don’t value your safety and the health of your family! Read less

I am very sad and angry that the Florida State mandate of mask wearing in public indoor places was not enforced at this location. I am very sad and angry that the Florida State mandate of mask wearing in public indoor places was not enforced at this location. Many guests checking in, walking around, and riding the elevators with no masks on. No Manager/Supervisor walking around and informing people that they need to wear a mask in the public areas. When a business puts $$ above public health, I choose to never use that business again. I'm supposed to believe that "special care and sanitizing" was performed in the room I was staying in? Yeah, right! This is supposed to be a "smoke-free" facility and yet there was Marijuana smell throughout the hallways. I had to change rooms twice. Mind you this was a one night stay. There were fleas in one of the rooms and a horrible drilling sound in another room. If you are a pet friendly business you should fumigate. The Hilton is just a name. Nothing fancy, nothing special. If I wanted to stay at a flea infested, non-mask wearing facility, I'm sure I would've gotten a better rate at the Motel 6. First time, last time. Good bye Hilton. Read less

I want to start by saying, if you’re a tourist, pick a nicer beach, Daytona beach is pretty dirty and there are a lot of bums hanging around this area. I want to start by saying, if you’re a tourist, pick a nicer beach, Daytona beach is pretty dirty and there are a lot of bums hanging around this area. Now onto this “resort,” the rooms are FILTHY, DISGUSTING , DEPLORABLE. I cut my two night visit to one night even after switching rooms. I had to walk my dog a half a mile to go potty, wait in the road for ten minutes to check in for valet. The line to check in was over 30 mins(with my dog). The pet fee is $100, and $30 a day for valet. This place is overpriced, and does not represent the Hilton name. The wait to get your car from valet was 20+ mins. The wait for food or to buy a coffee or drink are way too long. The guest services manager told me it’s not the hotels job to keep people socially distanced and that it’s not her or the hotels fault the hotel lines are busy or long. She said at this time they are at full capacity, yet they only have the south side desk and valet open and are under staffed, hmmm which equals long lines!! Yes you can control that ma’am, get fully staffed and OPEN your north valet and check in desk! I will say that the valet and bell service staff was sweet, the attendants checking you in were friendly, but the manager was rude! She asked me what she should do. It’s her job to tell me what the hotel will do to make it better, not mine! I’m so disappointed and wasted so much time waiting. Overall, a stressful and disappointing stay. I would never recommend anyone stay here. I received my money back, except the parking and $100 pet fee. I ended up staying at The Shores Resort and Spa down the road for the remainder of my trip and OMG I loved it, I told them about my experience and they took care of me! Discounted my room and pet fee! <3 Read less

From the moment I checked in I felt so welcome. The front desk supervisor, Erron was courteous and very professional. My room was on the 16th floor overlooking the ocean and the view was amazing. All the employees had a masked on, so I felt a little safer. I enjoyed my stay and would go back anytime..
