Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Daytona Beach, Gold Coast Beaches

The hotel

The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

Immediately after walking in, we were greeted with a smile by Czarina at the front desk. She was super helpful in giving us directions and getting us where we needed to go. The rooms were clean and the whole experience was very pleasant.

Restaurants were meh, valet parking was difficult to get into and out of with limited space in front of the resort. Not sure why we were assessed a resort fee, there is nothing special here that you wouldn't get at a regular hotel. Lots of sketchy people on the boardwalk-can't really recommend the area for families or women traveling alone. Convenient to the convention center across the street, which is why we were there, but next time I'll just drive and stay further out. Read less

Looked so great online But........ I wouldn't be so critical on Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, except. Everything was great the check in was fast and easy. There is complimentary water in the lobby which is nice. The room is kind of dated but that's understandable. The beds felt like you were sleeping in an ocean yourself. The dip and… Read more
Looked so great online But........ The dip and non firmness of it made me feel like they haven't been changed in years. Location was amazing you were close to anything that you wanted to do The super bad, Woke up in the morning and say Hilton had overcharged us 290.00 for incidentals. This is on top of the 150 on hold for incidentals. Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing 300.00 dollars missing from your account and they try to deny it. Then you show them your bank account, and they say this has never happen, will call your bank and get it fixed. Yeah 5 days later. Don't stay here support the smaller brands that don't overcharged for parking, food and anything else. Read less

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's right on the Boardwalk, walking distance from everything you want to see. I didnt have to get in my car 1 time during this week long trip, everything is near by if you want the beach experience.
