Just to leave this info, what a shame: left message I was supposed to get here after 1am, due to flight delay, arrived, got the rudest response from a employee I ever got: you are late, now your reservation is gone, you have to wait in the lobby for 45min or more because of system update, I had to sleep in the lobby like a homeless, very tired,… Read more

Then, sent us for a regular room (the worst we had here in this hotel in our last 3 stays). Looking for the building next to us. Really… 2 days only, when I asked a little bit more of kindness, since last stay you guys sent me for a room with leaking problems … please don’t send champagne for my room, this is not asking for sorry. This is just ridiculous. As a Gold member and Amex platinum, I’ll never be here anymore. (I know it doesn’t matter for you guys, more customers will came every day, but trip advisor will know). The hotel is located on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, which is a brilliant spot when the sun is shining. It's a handsome hotel with large driveway and welcoming lobby. The rooms are impressive. Mine was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was super comfortable and there are good kitchen facilities in the room. A large sitting area with seating for a group. A small desk, super comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. I was staying for a business conference and overall the layout is very nice and it's possible to dine outside if the weather is nice. However, unfortunately one evening the weather was not appealing and so our dinner activities had to take place in the same ballroom as our conference which was a bit disappointing. Overall my main detractor was that there were not any areas to sit and do work after checkout. Given many international flights aren't until late in the evening, I had assumed there would be a place to sit and get work done however the lobby has minimal seating. The library was closed. And the business centre was cramped and loud. As a result myself and other colleagues headed to the airport very early just to be able to find a seat. This was a unique challenge - most other hotels which I've visited for conferences generally have at least a few alcoves to sit after check out. This seems like it would be a great spot for a family or friends in the summer. Read less

Check In was great and received a decent upgrade as a Diamond Member to a 1BR Residence. Room- Good-,size, bed comfy, nice fridge, decent view Bad- location of room as we petty much were over the exhaust from the restaurant kitchen (smell of food cooking pretty much all day), AC stopped working on us 3 out of the 5 days (thank goodness we didn’t visit in the summer) Ugly- shower leaked all over bathroom floor, tiles broken on floor, furniture very dated Note: our room was 917 and is also for sell at a cost of around 1.5 million ( not worth that in its current condition) Beach/Pool Good- free chairs at beach, lots of seating options at pool, staff was friendly Bad- the wait for drink/food service at the Beach which was due to being understaffed Ugly- the fact that on the pool deck they want to up charge for certain chairs just because they are near the edge (guess better view but not really) Restaurants Good- Takatos is absolutely fantastic Bad- one restaurant was shut down so only other choices were room service and Spinnakers which basically serve overpriced bar food. Ugly- the little coffee/cafe staff was rude and insane prices Spa- wonderful, wonderful Staff was amazing and Girlie is an excellent Manager Hotel Staff- the best we have seen in a while. We really wanted to rate it 5 stars with it being a Conrad, but they need to fix some issues before they brand themselves as a “Conrad”. Doubt we stay at the hotel again, Four Seasons is next door and the quality of that brand is not even a fair comparison to this Conrad Read less

Great hotel but the suites are on a busy street. The beach is across the street and you hear traffic like crazy and if you don’t get there early umbrella’s are gone and it’s like sitting on the road.
