Jacksene was amazing! He was so kind and welcoming to my friends and I at the beach! We were here for a bachlorette trip and he made it the most rememberable experience for her. I will forever be thankful for his kind, and considerate heart. We love him, you need to replicate him😊

I booked this hotel through jetblue vacation package and they didn't tell us that the pool was closed for renovations. This was the point of why I booked this hotel, also the temperature was 100 degrees every day. We was offered beach chairs but If we wanted umbrelllas we had to paid $30 for one. Never again.

Spent 3 days here with daughter and granddaughter in an oceanfron room. The room was nice, hotel was modern and clean. We didn't know until 3 days prior to arrival that the pool area would be closed. Feel we should have gotten some compensation (we got free beach chairs). Wow. Beach umbrellas were $30 per day. We did not get one. My main complaint was the exhorbitant pricing. We were charged $52 per day for valet parking (an outrage when already spending $273/night + approx. $40/night in taxes). On top of that, when we texted to have our rental car brought up to the front, we were asked if we wanted to add a $7.00 tip to the already $52/night charge! Went to the Bistro the first morning for breakfast and the bill was $48 for 2 fruit cups and 1 breakfast sandwich. My total bill for 3 nights was $1159, or $386/night. Nice being on the beach, but not worth the price. Not everyone has money. Read less

Do not stay here! Terrible experience! Checked in for 5 nights to be told the pool would be closed (after they ran my credit card). The pool was an amenity when I booked this hotel! Oh - but they will give you 2 beach loungers (but you have to pay $30 for an umbrella!) The room smelled of stale smoke. Oh - and there was a letter in the room (not told to us by the desk) that the water would be turned off and on throughout two of our days from 10am-3pm! We were determined to make the best of it. BUT - find out the next day that deck/lounge chairs overlooking the beach and the bar (on a different level than the pool) would be closed the rest of our 4 day stay! AND - we found out after we checked in to the room that all the street lights are out because of the turtles and it was pitch black outside and the surrounding park, parking lot, and area. We were two females and we did not feel safe at night in the area. In their defense, this was not their fault but we were asked to close our curtains at night if we had lights on. I spoke to a manager and asked about any discounts or compensation for the amenities were were not getting. I would not have booked this hotel had I known there was no pool for 5 days. Asked if we could use another Marriott pool for a day and he said no. He said no comps were given, no discounts but if we wanted to find another resort, they wouldn't penalize us. We checked out and went elsewhere. Now the pool doesn't show as an amenity on their site so I guess that's a plus for future guests. This is not Marriott in my opinion. Extremely disappointed in how we were treated. Read less
