Speaking of food and drink, you can enjoy delicious meals back at Evelyn's Restaurant, accompanied by elevated ocean views. But if you're looking for something more casual then the poolside dining is for you. Take a dip in one of the two pools on the ocean sun deck, then enjoy some fresh seafood and an innovative cocktail from the comfort of your sun bed. Make sure to check out the hotel's complimentary activities, from barista classes to tequila tasting - there's plenty of fun to be had. And the same can be said for the little ones too. The kid's club is also based on the sun deck, and with scavenger hunts and arts and crafts just the tip of the list, they'll be entertained for hours. Hours in which you can spend in the spa, the salon, or simply just sunbathing with a good book. Whilst you're on the doorstep of central beach, why not use the complimentary bicycles to take a ride down to Las Olas Beach, and the boulevard, famous for it's cuban influences, which are reflected in the many shops, bars, and restaurants that line the area.

Excellent location right on Fort Lauderdale beach, 1 mile from Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. Transfer time from Miami International Airport: approximately 35 mins.

189 rooms including suites on 22 floors. All with balconies offering some fantastic views, air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi access, 55” flat-screen HDTV, Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth bedside speaker, mini-bar*, in-room tablet to access hotel services, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bathrobe and slippers, and bathroom amenities. 

Lauderdale-View Rooms are located on floors 4-6 and feature city views, with either 1 king-size bed, 2 double beds, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Intracoastal Rooms are located on floors 7-11, offering views of the intracoastal waterway, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Ocean View rooms are located on floors 6-10, offering partial ocean views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people. 

Prime Ocean View rooms are located on floors 5-11, offering uninterrupted ocean views, with either 1 king-size bed, 2 double beds, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Lauderdale View Suites are located on floors 4-6, featuring city views from the two balconies, bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub, spacious living room with sofa bed, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Prime Lauderdale View Suites are the same as above, but are located on floors 7-11, featuring both city and partial ocean views.

Grand One Bedroom Suites are located on the 4th floor, featuring partial ocean views, a separate living room with sofa bed, outdoor dining table, bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Birch Oceanfront Terrace Suites are located on the 4th floor, featuring full ocean views, expansive terrace with dining table and sun loungers, living/dining room with sofa bed, two full bathrooms with separate showers and soaking tubs plus an additional powder room with shower, and two bedrooms each with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 people.  

Evelyn’s Fort Lauderdale (serving coastal Floridian cuisine with ocean views, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Evelyn’s Bar (specialty wine, spirits, and craft cocktails, open 11:00 am–11:00 pm). Honey Fitz (serving gourmet coffee and pastries, and grab and go items). Poolside menu of classic fare and a range of drinks available on the ocean sun deck. Boulevard Level Restaurant (opening soon).

Arriving a bit before check in allowed an opportunity to explore the property. A couple of hours after arriving an amenity was brought up of fresh fruit and chocolates and macaroons. One of the most memorable parts of the stay was Evelyn's chef making an off-menu, Arabic dessert called "Kunafeh". A waiter heard our dialogue about this dessert and asked if we would like to have it be made on a future evening. The series of spa treatments were simply amazing and the treatment of the team and quality of the facilities are simply amazing The ability for the resort to be so attentive to client and create smooth, streamlined communication and operations is commendable. Room was not ready until two hours after check in time. We had to stay in the lobby with two kids for two and a half hours waiting on it to cleaned. Cleaning service was either skipped or not performed until 6 pm frequently. Hotel seems very understaffed. Families fighting trying to their kids into kids club. Would not recommend staying here.

Wonderful family trip. Service was amazing. Pool and beach was top notch. Food was excellent and in room service was prompt and good. Cleaning staff did a great job every day and twice a day. We had the prime ocean view room which was extra special to have that view from our room and deck. Highly recommend.
