Staff was extremely nice and hospitable. I booked for 4 nights and ended up checking out early. By night 2 there was sand all over the floor with no housekeeping. I used towels to sweep into a pile and requested housekeeping to pick up towels and they picked up the pile of towels but the sand remained left behind. It would be nice if the hotel offered a feet shower so you can rinse before coming into the hotel. There is one on the beach but you still end up with sand everywhere including your bed. The lounge chairs for the beach are only available until 5 pm and umbrellas cost extra. My teenage daughter & I arrived late each day and were only able to use the chairs for approximately 20 minutes after which time we were asked to remove our belongings so they could pack up the chairs. You could look down the beach and see all the other lounge chairs from other hotels that remain out, made me wish I had booked at a different hotel. The comforter blankets on the beds were not nice. The filling was clumped into large balls and there were just large lumps and the 2 pieces of fabric without filling. The AC was also loud whenever it clicked on and would wake me up multiple times throughout the night. Lastly, it was overly busy and difficult to socially distance. I could not use the pool because it was packed with maskless bodies. Also, several times it was difficult to get up to my room. More people then should be in the elevator would get in so instead of asking them to get off wait for an different one I would just get off and wait for one. I spent 15 minutes one night just trying to get from the lobby to floor 17. In the end we checked out early and spent our last night at a different hotel. I regret not having done so sooner. So disappointed, room that I had reserved was not given to me and they wanted to charge me for an upgrade. They blamed Expedia and said that they can’t control what descriptions Expedia writes. LIARS. I paid a lot of money for a room that was not available.. Treated my mom and I different because we were Hispanic and had an accent. The worse customer service, the racist manager and the so called director of the hotel. Never will I ever stay in this hotel ever again. Read less

All the staff front desk, cafe, housekeeping, security... were wonderful! They were kind, helpful, honest, and also had integrity. My husband left his watch and Ernesto from security called us and mailed it back. The women in the cafe made my daughter feel special. I can not say enough about the staff at this hotel. The hotel is clean and beautiful however the staff made this the best family trip we have had to date. Would absolutely recommend! Read less

He had great suggestions for food and was very passionate about his job which you could tell because he treated every guest with enthusiasm. We had an amazing view of the ocean in a beautiful room and tried out the restaurant and coffee shop. In the coffee shop Frantz was very nice and patient with us when we were trying to make a decision on what to have for breakfast. Even with the COVID-19 and tropical storm Isaias, Andy made our stay great. I literally cannot say enough about how great he is! Read less

I booked this hotel to celebrate my husband on his birthday. Upon entering the Hilton Hotel... although the lobby is nice, its’ customer service didn’t match in delivering a warm greeting and attentiveness throughout our stay. I can say, the Hilton Hotel is clean, great in room size, and the oceanfront is far by amazing when booking on their high floors. However, if you’re like me and value a resort style hotel with top customer service, the Hilton may not be the place. Also, there is no beach or pool waiter service at the time; in addition to, no cleaning service due to COVID. So our three days stay were accommodated with requesting more towels/washcloths and bedding. For me, the Hilton Hotel at Fort Lauderdale Oceanfront suit was decent for price, although their service could have been much better. Read less
