Overall, my stay at the hotel was great! Andy at the front desk was very helpful and super nice! He recommended us things to do in the area. Harell at valet was extremely helpful, especially after having to go back to the car and geting my items because I was able to check in early. Construction is next door and our room was unfortunately right next to it, so we had to switch rooms but we were able to switch within minutes and front desk was able to get someone up to us without having to go back downstairs to front desk. I give it a 4/5 stars because the woman at the cashier for breakfast was quite rude and gave me attitude after asking for questions regarding breakfast procedure due to COVID. Read less

So I’m walking down the corridor at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale with Black Coffee Ready For You playing on the speakers, feeling like a million bucks. That was the experience I was looking for. Thank you Hilton for a fantastic time! I was Ready For You and you were ready for me.

We booked 1 King Bed Junior Suite with separate living room, ocean view. We got un «upgrade» to 2 Queens but renovated room. When we accepted an «upgrade» offer we were not told that it would be a queen instead of a king bed and without separate living room. But at least it was a renovated room, which was nice. The room was clean and fresh, very functional, simple but stylish. The bathroom was also clean and quite spacious. The view was... (you could see from the photo attached...). The biggest concern was persistent marihuana smell on the balcony (but fortunately we did not feel that strong smell in the room). The beach was lovely. The beach guy is helpful and friendly. Also, what is convenient is that if you go to the beach early or late (when the beach guy is not there), you could simply pick up the towels at the pool and the return it there on you way back from the beach. The surprise was with the breakfast for diamonds. At the cafe they offered to pick up a tray with tiny bit of fruits and tiny bit of yogurt. In addition, you can get either pastry or plain bagel. We saw nice looking sandwiches with cheese or/and ham, so my husband asked if he could get one of those instead of plain bagel or pastry. The reply: “No, it is not included in diamonds’. breakfast” So, no cheese, ham, sausages, or eggs for the breakfast. I asked if I could get an orange juice. The reply: “You already ordered your coffee. It is either coffee or juice.” Feels cheap. In Homewood suites, Embassy suits, and even Hampton the breakfast is way more generous. When we asked about this new policy they blamed it for Covid. But since Covid we already stayed in 4 Hilton family hotels, and had much better breakfast experiences. On the check out day we were able to have a late check out, which was helpful. Thanks! Overall, nice and clean property. In spite of all these little nuances, the stay was ok: the beach and the ocean helps to forget about it right away! We stayed for one night and then we moved to another hotel. Read less

I stayed here for two nights in August 2020 for the second time and left feeling very satisfied. The resort is operating during COVID and did a great job. Rooms are clean and mostly all-suite with a kitchenette/living area. The remodel they did was very well done, nice beach themed with quality finishes. I stayed in 1809 and had a beautiful southeast facing view with a large balcony. Bathroom is not remodeled completely I believe, however the style is timeless. Shower has extra water pressure, better than just good pressure. Pool is fully open and very clean however I spent majority of my time on the beach. Resort fee gets you two chairs and towels, however no umbrella, that's extra FYI. The lobby is scheduled to be remodeled but doesn't look outdated. Overall, stellar timeless quality 4 star resort with great service from housekeeping and the front desk. I think you'll be quite happy after your stay. Read less

I just want to start by saving I know this is not an ideal time to go anywhere none the less a COVID hot spot! I landed early and immediately headed to the hotel where I was greeted by Anthony. Anthony definitely has exceeded the customer service skill level and was so delightful to deal with. Being that check in was not until 3pm/4pm and it wasn't even 11:30am yet I was told to leave the luggage with the hotel and provided my cell phone in which they will text or call you when your room is ready. Anthony said it will be around 3pm but just pay attention to my cell phone. So I didn't mind at all as I never been to Fort Lauderdale and having such a beautiful view of the beach was better than the weather change over here in NY. We ended up going to the restaurant on site to burn some time. Maybe like 5 minutes passed and I got a phone call from Anthony letting me know our room was ready! I was like wow that was quick. I called the hotel the day before I arrived to mention how I would like to request a room away from the construction across from the hotel and Anthony who managed to help me on the phone as well informed me he would definitely make note of it. HE DEFINITELY DID! My room was superb. It was on the 19th floor south side of the hotel facing the W Hotel and the view was spectacular. Housekeeping isn't going on due to COVID however if you need any replenishment's in the room you can either notify front desk by the room phone or through the Hilton App and they will bring it right up. The hotel definitely enforces face mask wearing which is a huge plus and they have hand sanitizer's throughout the busy area's of the hotel. On Sunday's it seems they have a Brunch which they have a DJ in the pool area and it gets pretty busy. My husband and I aren't one for crowds at the moment so we didn't stay long in the pool when that was going on. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for beautiful views and a beach front location. The hotel is on Fort Lauderdale Blvd. which is a busy strip with restaurants and hotels and I am so glad to have chosen Hilton over all the other hotels in the area! Read less
