Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Gold Coast Beaches

Virgin rating

The hotel

Set in the heart of Las Olas business district in Fort Lauderdale, this is a great launchpad in which to explore the city as well as the beaches that this area is so famous for. Speaking of beaches, the hotel is decorated with ocean blues and neutral sand undertones to give that chilled beach vibe, with the floor to ceiling windows offering plenty of light and fantastic skyline views. Head to the 8th floor to experience these views whilst having a dip in the pool, or sipping on a sundowner from the pool bar, nestled in between the skyscrapers of Ft Lauderdale. Fancy something a bit more cultural? The NSU Art Museum is just a hop across the street, and if you’re venturing any further – there’s no easier way to travel than by water taxi to experience all the area has to offer.

We had an excellent experience at Hyatt Centric Las Olas. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Widnide at the reception desk was particularly helpful and accommodating, I truly appreciated her help! We will definitely be back!

On the fourth day I asked housekeeping to do our room and to our surprise it wasn’t done at 5 . We proceeded to find someone to do it. Coffee, water, bath products, bathroom tissue had to be requested daily as they were never stocked. The only day we received proper housekeeping was on the final day of our stay because I spent 30 minutes talking to Tiffany at Hyatt call line. I was however told that the service manager would reach out to me. Not surprising : the call never came. Would highly recommend searching for better options. This is the first time I have taken the time to write a review. Hope they get things worked out. Read less

No smiles, no welcoming attitude as if doing some favor by doing their job. for 250$ per night for a room with Skyline view - got 1236 looking into a crappy building in your face. The exhaust in the bathroom was not working !!! The key to the room would stop working multiple times a day and had to stand in line to get it working. The towels need a replacement - were very hard and rough to use. The housekeeping is a nightmare - if you are sleeping , they will talk loudly , bang doors and play loud music while working on other rooms. The pool closes at 8 pm . Overall had a poor experience with rude behaviors and tiny room with exhaust not working. I would certainly not recommend anyone stay here. Read less
