Classic Rooms are approximately 325 sq ft and are located on floors 1-6 in the original tower, with either 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.
Executive Tower Standard Rooms are approximately 500 sq ft and are located on floors 9-12, with skyline and river views, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.
Executive Tower Balcony Rooms are the same as above, with the addition of a private balcony.

There are some renovations going on, but it seems like it’s for the better, They put us in a bigger room because they said the other one may have too much noise.

They also have multiple onsite restaurants and places to get a drink as well. The front desk staff were always super friendly and willing to help you out in any way that they could. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation of all of the hotel rooms but do not let that stop you from checking out this hidden gem in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. I have another cruise out of Port Everglades next year and will be staying at the Riverside Hotel again. I hope this helps someone out in some way.

Everytime I visit Riverside my favorite spot is Preston’s Bar & It’s because Monica makes the best cocktails mixtures the world has ever seen & her personality and realness makes conversations. Will be returning soon I can not get enough of this place !!!!

My wife surprised me with a stay at the Riverside for a 33rd anniversary trip. The hotel was originally built in 1936 so it has a lot of character to it. However the recent renovations have given it a very fresh yet classic look. The location is right in the middle of the Las Olas district and is very safe for walking to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has several popular food and beverage offerings that are considered favorites by the locals. The Boathouse restaurant has great riverside dining, the Golden Lyon is a cozy little bar filled with regulars and hosted by very friendly bartenders ( even first timers will get the "Cheers" experience with a greeting as if you have been there before). The hidden gem is New River Bakery a confection and coffee shop. It is owned and operated is by a very affable pastry chef who won the first episode of "Sugar Rush (Christmas)" a baking competition show that can be seen on Netflix. Everything is delicious and the coffee is first rate. In fact everything at the Riverside Hotel was first rate including the staff. No matter who we approached with a question they always had time to listen and offer suggestions. Like the river that runs next to this grand old hotel The Riverside just keeps rolling along.

The Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale never disappoints! It is not only the best situated yet a beautiful, classy hotel located right on Las Olas Boulevard. It has several restaurants to choose from and a lovely pool also with some views some right on the waterfront where boats and yachts pass right by you. There is a free hop on hop off boat trolley ride that will take you for a ride simply to enjoy the lovely sights and sounds. The rooms are amazing large in size with comfortable beds for always a good night’s sleep. I have extended my stay already twice and all the staff are most accommodating. They even have weekend music that is by a fabulous pianist who I have grown to know and love over the years. As long as I travel, The Riverside Hotel will be one definitely be one of my top destinations!
