We recently enjoyed a staycation at the W Hotel, which is perfectly located across the street from Fort Lauderdale Beach. The hotel is hip, modern, and clean, and pet-friendly as well, much to delight of our Boston Terrier who tagged along. The pool area has lots of chairs, a great vibe, and fantastic food as well. Our server James was friendly and attentive, even when we had to navigate around the inevitable afternoon showers.
The primary reason for the 5-star review was due to our experience with Taylor, the Front Desk Manager. We were celebrating our son’s birthday and had coordinated some plans with Taylor. She went the extra mile in numerous ways, from getting us rooms directly next to each other, to arranging for an early check-in. This allowed us to get started on the pool festivities sooner rather than later, while our doggie enjoyed the AC in the cozy room. She even decorated our son’s room with a festive assortment of decorations. It was such a fun surprise to see his reaction when we entered the room the first time.
We often hear that stellar customer service is hard to find in the hospitality industry these days, and Taylor is the perfect counterpoint to that perception. There is a sign above a door outside the hotel which says something to the effect of “The Best Talent Enter Here”, which is where employees enter. This was clearly designed with Taylor in mind. We will absolutely be back, and we will certainly ask for Taylor!

Previous stay for our anniversary was wonderful. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Well appointed. Steak 954 was great! We really enjoyed the vibes of this hotel, and the friendliness of the staff. It really made such a difference to be welcomed so nicely. Room was impeccably clean.

Vibe was amazing ! And the room spectacular with ocean front l, we were greeted with a delicious cocktail and room service was great! Overall I have to stay I am more than satisfied with this option, also the Mexican restaurant was a really good surprise !
