The hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the beach. It’s also a good time destination if you’re looking to get out for a few hours. Our room was in superb condition, and well maintained throughout our stay. We found the concierge desk to be very helpful as well. This combination of service, entertainment, and comfort are what we look for while traveling and this place hit the mark on all. Read less

Cannot say enough about the service and quality of food and drinks at these two locations.I recently met a couple of guests for food and drinks and had the pleasure of meeting Fabio. Fabio is one of the best in the service industry I have ever met. He is one of the reason I return to the W time after time.

We were disappointed by our stay at the W due to poor service and a musty room. They charge a premium so I would expect premium service and rooms but they didn't clean our room until 7pm after we called down to ask for it. The room was damp like the air conditioning wasn't working properly. The service was just ok. I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is overpriced, tired and dirty. I’m not sure if the staff (Caitlyn, Odette, Effrain, Raul, and Eros) just doesn’t care about the guest experience or simply isn’t empowered to provide even basic service to a guest, but it took me six trips to the desk to have a simple thing like “please send the rollaway that is noted on my reservation… Read more
This hotel is overpriced, tired and dirty. I’m not sure if the staff (Caitlyn, Odette, Effrain, Raul, and Eros) just doesn’t care about the guest experience or simply isn’t empowered to provide even basic service to a guest, but it took me six trips to the desk to have a simple thing like “please send the rollaway that is noted on my reservation up to my room”. They are full of unhelpful information like “your room is unoccupied but hasn’t been cleaned yet... will be ready sometime between now (9am) and 4pm.” I arrived on a red-eye, and had early arrival noted on my reservation and shared the request again with Viergina Severe, Bonvoy Connector, when she reached out prior to the stay. Caitlyn assured me they would call when room was ready but nobody ever did - I checked back at 1pm and it was available... for who knows how long. However, given that the room had orange puke on the carpet when I got to it, I would say it was not ready or fit for a guest after all. The helpful solution provided by Eros when I showed him the vomit? Fold the carpet over so we didn’t step in it. A suite night upgrade cleared for the reservation and I had a confirmation for a Fantastic Suite with a king bed and a sofa bed. The room didn’t have a sofa bed - apparently not all of the Fantastic Suites do, despite listing it clearly on the confirmation and room description. My kids ended up sleeping on dirty porch furniture covered in damp towels because they couldn’t put us in another room. We would have been better off in the 2-queen on the original reservation... but they kept my suite night upgrade anyways. I could go on and make this review really long because there were problems every step of the way, but at the end of day, all you need to know is AVOID. Smile, nod, make promise, and do absolutely nothing seems to how staff is trained here. I tried to resolve issues with the property during and after the stay before leaving a review like this - and rather than fix anything Lydie Medley, Director of Rooms, said they would use this as a “teachable moment” with their staff. Before booking I read the reviews and thought to myself “surely it can’t be that bad”, but I was wrong. Don’t make the same mistake. I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels, and this property is an embarrassment to the Marriott portfolio. Read less
