On our last day at the hotel, they were taking down and moving all of the heavy equipment and fencing for the beach restoration. So, if you are planning on coming, you should be fine. On our last day at the hotel, they were taking down and moving all of the heavy equipment and fencing for the beach restoration. So, if you are planning on coming, you should be fine. I wish it had been cleared sooner because it did ruin a beach front view - wish we had just saved some money and got a different room. Plus, the beach is extremely deep, and the ocean is a pretty far walk. I hope they eventually plan to add some dunes to the beach because now it just isn't very pretty. Hardly anyone sat on the beach. That said, we loved the hotel and all of the employees are very friendly. It is beautiful inside, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and we enjoyed the free happy hour a few times. The pool was really wonderful, and the pool wait staff were friendly and efficient. We only had two nice weather days while we were there and those were the days we went to the pool. Great drinks and had lunch poolside both days. They have towels and pool noodles available. Yes, there is a daily valet fee which I think is too high, but they always got our car quickly and were all friendly. Just a great overall stay and highly recommend, especially now that the beach looks to be fully open. Read less

The negative experience of dealing with Annika ( who was leaving her job ) for months was compounded that she ( Catering Management ) left promises and more that were not fulfilled. Very happy with our stay even though we never made it down to the beach. The pool was delightful. Rooms well kept and spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows. Loved some of the nice touches like free snow cones by the pool, live music by the pool. Enough chairs and umbrellas for everyone that wanted one. Shout out to Maia, our poolside server. She was lovely and friendly. Liked the fire pits. Unfortunately, due o the frequent rain storms in the afternoons, all the furniture cushions remained wet into the evening so we couldn’t sit outside. We highly recommend this hotel and we would stay here again if we visit. BTW, the valet was superb. They really have it downpat and we only waited a couple of minutes for our car. Awesome experience. Stopped in and Everardo greeted me at the Valet and was amazingly kind. Amenities are clean and well maintained. High end service all around. Great restaurant, store and Starbucks all on site with pool and beach. Excellent resort!
