The rainfall shower was top notch - great temp, great pressure. The room view was awful, but the curtains closed. The pool area was very nice with cute comfy cabanas and a great view of the ocean. Poolside bar and food service was available with very attentive staff. Room view, wifi surcharge, and slow valet were the only cons, but the great service, amenities and room quality greatly outweighed any cons. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. Read less

I asked for a receipt and it was as if I was bothering her. Not to mention when we went to grab coffee we were sternly told do not touch the food unless you have purchased the breakfast plan. The room had nowhere to put clothes and not enough hangers. The flooring could use some work, our room stayed warm and the toilet was a pain at times. Otherwise a decent stay for a long weekend. The room is okay marginal for the price. No place to put clothes like in drawers. The staff is awesome Pete the Beach chair guy is great person. All the staff was super helpful and that makes the experience much better. If you are looking for a hotel with a lot off amenities in the room this isn’t your place.

Check in was easy. Was hoping for an Upgrade due to my Titanium status, but I didn’t ask, and the front desk lady never offered, which isn’t normal for a Marriott property. Check in was easy. Was hoping for an Upgrade due to my Titanium status, but I didn’t ask, and the front desk lady never offered, which isn’t normal for a Marriott property. I checked in around 8:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024. The hotel charges a $25 resort fee, which I think is fine. You get beach chairs and beach towels located across the street. There’s no Tiki Bar over there, but you can bring your own alcohol. Recommend stopping by the Supermarket and not the Triton Liquor store. More beer options. Supermarket has no hard liquor and no mixed drinks there, like margaritas. Just beer. The supermarket is a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There's no ice maker at the hotel. However, the 3rd floor has a small freezer that always had small frozen bags of ice. We used that for 3 days, and the staff always had ice in there. Nice job on their part for keeping this stocked. The $25 resort fee also allows you to use their bikes. Bikes have a basket and a lock, so you can bike ride to South Beach, park and walk around. Baskets are great to hold your phones and anything else. Being a Titanium Member, I choose the $10/PP per day/per person hotel coupon (in lieu of points) to use at the bar, restaurant, or rooftop bar. So, $20 per day. Doesn’t go too far. For ex: we left early Friday morning to head home so I used my Friday $20 at the pantry. I could only get two candy bars. Tried getting 3, but it would have been over $20. The manager is super nice. Always walking around and asking how you’re doing and if there’s anything he can do to help. Great service. The rooftop pool water must be heated because the water felt great. Not cold at all. The view is phenomenal as you can watch cruise ships depart and head out in the evening. No issues with housekeeping. Room was cleaned each day. This was our second time staying at this AC Hotel. We’ll have no problem returning and staying here again. Read less

The hotel attendant named Petrus provided excellent service. He was helpful, courteous, and personable. Petrus assisted me with the beach chair and umbrella while I enjoyed the sun and shared his knowledge regarding my hotel needs. Thank you Petrus!
