Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club

Miami Beach, Miami

The hotel

There’s a certain seaside feel at the revamped Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club – and it doesn’t just come from its location, virtually anchored to the sands and boardwalk of Miami Beach. Its guestrooms are decked out in cool whites, greys, and navy blues for a refreshing coastal feel; while the finishing touches have a hint of the Art Deco heritage this ocean-skirting oasis is famous for. The latest hotel to make it into Marriott’s Autograph Collection, when you return hungry from the beach, or a dip in its two pools, or shopping in the nearby Design District, the Cadillac’s new restaurant welcomes you back with crispy rustic pizzas straight from its wood-fired oven, while the mixologist at its oceanfront bar shakes you their signature cocktails.

Yohana was great as well at checkout. This hotel is simply amazing - beach and mini resort property right on Collins Ave. Beautiful scenery and nice rooms. What more could you ask for? I’ll definitely return here if I come back to Miami. Read less

The Cadillac is a Chevy Cruze at best. Take my advice, and stay somewhere else- From start to finish-problematic and nothing but a small time operation full of excuses that refuses to be part of the Marriott brand. Arrived Tuesday morning the 12th to one person at the desk dealing with a frustrated customer over some bait and switch breakfast situation and I was going to be late for a conference nearby- and she refused to acknowledge me and when I finally asked if she could please get someone in the back as there were lots of people back there to help me she gave me an attitude. Next problem-when I got back to my room early evening the key didn’t work so that was another waste of 10 minutes having to go down to the front desk to get a new key-what happened was when a guest of mine arrived in the afternoon and they issued him a key they screwed the whole key situation up-amateur night. Then, I called down to the hotel for a 4 PM check out next day as I am Marriott Titanium and that is one of the benefits and they said that they could do 1130 at the latest- I have almost 100 nights since January- this has never even been a hint of a problem at any of the other stays but at this hotel it is. They refused to budge- called Marriott elite services they said the hotel was wrong and called the hotel and then ended up with nothing but a refusal from the hotel. Then, the morning that they kicked me out at 11:30 I came down extra early because I’m done with this hotel. Then the valet services… and after a half an hour nearly the car shows up with no explanation or reason- and the other gentleman that was also waiting for his car told me he was going to miss his flight... nothing but another complete waste of time and again amateur day at the Cadillac. I went up to who appeared to be the front desk supervisor on duty and asked him what he was going to do about the parking charges and said he said there was nothing he could do-it would be up to the manager- I ask where the manager was and he says he’s not in yet. I live in Brickell Miami a few miles away- the only way I stayed at this hotel and wasted 40,000 rewards points on it was because of the convenience. What a mistake. The staff are friendly however ineffective. The rooms are nice however small. This is one of those one-off joke hotels that you should just avoid. A friend of mine comes here for a month at a time and highly recommended it I will let him know that I highly do not recommend it. Read less

The rooms here are incredible. Spacious, comfortable, well accesorized. The staff leaves much to be desired. Very courteous, but slow to respond and careless in their responsiveness. We were 2x told we'd get a call on a matter and never got called. We also told them Chromecast wasn't working (no big deal, we weren't there to watch tv) but… Read more

Arrived early and had to wait for my room. No big deal. I booked a king bed, ocean view. I’ve been coming to Miami Beach for 30 plus years and never have I experienced an ocean view like this. Called to complain which was pointless and had to speak with a millennial. I’ll leave it at that. Asked for a manager. Still waiting for a call back. No need to bring clothes you need to hang in the closet. No space. Finally, in 2019, you would think a Marriott hotel could provide secure internet, where guest login with their name and room number. Not here. Such a huge disappointment and customer service sucks. Avoid this hotel. Read less
