This was our second visit to the hotel within 3 years. From start to finish this hotel has lost its friendliness, class and cleanliness. From the beginning, check in took more than 30 mins early evening after a 10hr flight, 2hr wait to get into the country it’s not what u expect from this sort of hotel when only 2 more people in front of you. No apology for the wait just a young lady with 1 speed no social skills and a very expression ate face. We get to our room to be greeted with the most fausty smell a room could create, smelt damp, cold and uninviting. Thankfully guest services moved us quickly only plus point of the week we were in the hotel. Room servicing was hit and miss, our bins wasn’t cleaned for 5 days, floor not hoovered for 4 days until I requested it to be done. Towels were stained, thin and again varied to what you would be left each day. For a 4 star hotel you expect clean, fluffy towels, it doesn’t happen here! Food in the hotel is very expensive for what you get, bland and unimaginative. For months leading up to our stay we were in touch with hanna from concierge great service well informative with information requested about dinner for thanksgiving. On thanksgiving couldn’t get a table in main restaurant even as a hotel guest and Manager couldn’t do anything to help! Concierge man no name was provided by him useless, knew nothing and when confronted about eating opportunities he hung up on me. Raised this with Pedro the duty manager who took 40 mins to call me back. We had an issue mid week with noisy neighbours who were under age drinkers partying in the their room at 1:30 am and it took security until 3:39am to resolve the noise. No apology from Hotel the next day nothing even though I had visited the front desk to ask what had been done about it. Throughout the week I asked to ensure senior management were aware of my complaint to which they said yes, I am yet to have any communication from any manager from the hotel about the service I was provided and my complaints I raised. Be aware of the 49usd daily charge for parking even this didn’t work right, they kept losing the car or where they parked it where is was supposed to be or as blocked in a number of excuses for waiting over 30mins for our car. Resort fee for what the service is appalling, the staff our rude and the hotel is run down and dirty, see my images in this post, dirty hair dryer that was sticky to touch, tiles floor never washed properly, carpet thin and smelling old nor vacuumed and bath rude with flaky coating, plug hole that had never been cleansed or cleaned. The hotel needs some loving and redecorating in the bedrooms. Public areas give a good first impression however the cracks begins to show very quickly. Only plus side was the view as we were on floor 21 this could not be ruined by anything or anyone from the hotel. We will not be back to this hotel we would rather spend our money elsewhere where we are treated like guests and not an inconvenience. For a hotel that’s a member of the Leading hotel group you fail and fall short of expectations and quality. Read less

We spoke with general manager Eugenia who surprised us with her lackluster management style and lack of compassion for our concerns of our run down accommodations. The Nobu restaurant was our only highlight since there other dining areas you can see that they cut corners in quality and charge through the nose. Don’t be fooled by the hotel, it’s 2 star at best. Ariel gets me to choose the Eden Roc over any hotel in Miami! If you stay at the Eden roc, be sure to ask for Ariel, Andres, or Jonathan for help! And try to get Miguel or Cairo as your servers! Their service truly made our stay.

While the lobby is refinished, our suite was awful. It looked nothing like what was advertised on the website. The room was dirty, moldy, and entirely outdated. While the lobby is refinished, our suite was awful. It looked nothing like what was advertised on the website. The room was dirty, moldy, and entirely outdated. We expressed our issues to the front desk and were told that "pictures of rooms are taken on the best days so that may be causing the differences". Personally, I was not aware that the presence or absence of the sun could change a balcony from glass walled to cement. I also didn't appreciate that when we brought the issue to the front desk about being in a completely different room than what was booked, they sent a member of the housekeeping staff. This is not the housekeeping staff's fault, they are clearly doing the best they can to upkeep a building in decline. The issue was that we paid for something that we didn't receive, and management was unwilling to admit to their shortcomings. We ultimately ended up leaving a day early because we couldn't relax in such a frustrating environment. You can even tell that the staff are fed up, they're clearly hearing the same complaints from visitors every day and are irritated at the management for not driving improvements. Choosing Eden Roc was absolutely a mistake and we will not be returning. The only redeeming quality of this trip was the pool and poolside service, everyone there was fantastic and I sincerely hope they are able to find their next employment at a more respectable venue. I paid extra and asked for a quiet updated room. The bathroom was in utter shambles. The tv remote didn’t work. And the floor of the shower was covered in black mold/mildew. I paid extra and asked for a quiet updated room. The bathroom was in utter shambles. The tv remote didn’t work. And the floor of the shower was covered in black mold/mildew. The handles on the shower fell off when I turned off them on!!!!!!!!! And the lock on the toilet door was missing. This is a 4-star???? I ignored all this because I got the room for free. I booked this place but I had United Miles to use and this crap “motel 8” was all that was available with my miles. I was trying to make the best of it. However, I reached my limit when the jerks in the room above us had a party on a Sunday night. Up until midnight, I heard the balcony door above open and slam over and over. Ok. Then I heard hard footsteps and something slamming into the wall over and over. I had enough. I asked the hotel staff to do something about it. They went upstairs and told 10 or so people to leave. What??? How are you allowing people to have a party without any consequences???? No apologies. No offer of moving us to another room. Then when I went to go ask that they move my room (because THESE PEOPLE ABOVE STARTED TO EITHER SPILL DRINKS OR PEE OVER THEIR 21st FLOOR BALCONY ONTO OUR BALCONY UNDERNEATH), all the reception jerk said to me was “ma’am don’t yell at me.” I never once yelled at him. I had a low but annoyed tone. But I was pissed after that. I got a new room away from these idiots at midnight. At no time, did this reception fool offer the bellman to come up to move our bags to the new room. I had to move my several bags with my young children to the room by myself. My family didn’t do anything wrong but we were the ones that had to suffer late at night because this “4 star” hotel staff did not give a rat’s ass about providing even 2-star service. I’m stuck here for one more night because of my points. Can’t wait to see what else is going to happen tomorrow. The “manager” is supposed to call me in the morning, but I’m sure no one will bother to call. This place is complete nonsense. If you’re over 30 and actually have standards, go somewhere else. There are loud immature 20-somethings alllll over the hotel and beach allll night yelling and being rude. I even heard some idiots yelling at the top of the lungs at the pool below at 1 am!!! Besides this the beach is tiny as hell where everyone is piled up on each other. The pools are in the shade!!!!!! They only give you 2 chairs and no covers on the chairs!! Only 1 thin rundown towel that you use for the chair and to dry off. Kids club is “closed” and everything food wise is priced above what I have paid at St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental, and Ritz Carlton. This place is complete poop. Smoke and mirrors. It’s a place for people that like shiny things but have no real class, taste or standards. Please believe the reviews and the photos. The tile was literally missing!!! Read less
