This was such a wonderful experience. I came with my bachelorette party consisting of over 12 girls and didn’t think the pool could accommodate us. we had so much fun, great location, 3 swimming pools and a huge beach. the main restaurant is ocean unsocial, it was great and the views are second to none, literally on the beach. The hotel also has a Nobu Restaurant of the lobby, we were lucky enough to get a seat at the sushi bar. The food and service was outstanding.

*Do not recommend* *Read in full* My wife and I are avid travelers domestically and internationally and we have not experienced what we experienced ANYWHERE other than what happened at Eden Roc/Nobu. My wife is 7 months pregnant and was cornered in a women’s restroom by a male Eden Roc employee in an Eden Roc uniform. I brought this to the attention of the guest services manager, Michael Simpson and the assistant guest services manager, Maria Vargas on a Friday morning. By 3pm I did not have a response from either manager so I reached out again and was not able to get in contact with Michael or Maria - their staff advised me they were not available. A short while later I received a call back from the assistant manager of security, Adam. Adam had a professional attitude and a sense of customer service but I did request to speak to someone more senior and he advised me that the director of security, Kevin, had left for the day and would call me on Monday. That is how seriously the management team at Eden Roc took this incident…that the director of their security division left early on a Friday and would get back to me on Monday (also which did not happen) so he could enjoy his weekend. I never provided their security personnel with a description of the male that blocked my wife in the women’s restroom yet while I was on the phone with Adam he provided me with a description of an individual of interest. When I advised him that I had yet to give anyone a description he seemed to stumble which makes me feel like this has in fact happened before and Eden Roc and possibly had a specific employee in mind. Eden Roc management never initiated contact with me to try to explain or resolve the matter. I had to reach out to them numerous times to attempt to speak with someone in management over the course of 4 days. I did finally reach Kevin on Tuesday. He advised me the area near the women’s restroom had minimal camera coverage so there was no way to tell if a male entered or did not enter the women’s restroom and if I feel a crime had been committed that I should call the Miami Police department…to sweeten the conversation Kevin advised me that I could call his ‘buddy’ to file a report if I felt it necessary. If this single review can stop you from staying at the Eden Roc/Nobu and save your daughter/wife/spouse from getting cornered and blocked in a women’s restroom by an Eden Roc or Nobu employee then it has done it’s job. To Eden Roc/Nobu, Michael Simpson, Maria Vargas, Kevin and Adam - Do better. If it was your spouse or your daughter you would likely have a much different outlook on things. As a business owner, after 14 years in Special Operations and 5 years with the DoS Diplomatic Security Service I feel like I can confidently say you have a significant responsibility to your guests as well as your staff to keep them safe and if and when something does happen your response matters. You failed. To travelers - I am not the type of person to leave reviews. My wife and I have left a handful of 5 star reviews for business’s, restaurants or resorts that we have had truly exceptional experiences at. We do not hop online and drop a review for an airline because we had a bad flight, a hotel because we had a dirty room or a restaurant because we had a meal that didn’t taste great. I have no doubt a manager at some level will respond to this review attempting to say the matter was investigated, looked into carefully and was taken care of…it was not. Safe travels my friends. The next time you are in Miami stay somewhere else. Read less
