Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Miami Beach, Miami

The hotel

Daring to be different, yet featuring enough deco-detailing to make the grade in Miami, this five star retreat may be all cool white and slick lines on the outside, but inside it’s filled with sumptuous velvety reds, glitzy golds, and warm woods and leather: nowhere more so than in its very own theatre, an opulent cabaret venue with a nod to the grand old opera houses of Europe’s capitals. The dining’s just as decadent, ranging from the modern Asian creations of master chef Paul Qui, in the ocean view Pao restaurant, to the live-fire Argentine cooking of renowned South American chef Francis Mallman, at Los Fuegos. They’ve even thrown in a sand-skirting location on Miami Beach, a luxury spa with Amazon-sourced products, and an oceanfront pool and sunbathing deck.

The fact that they were able to cater to everything during a pandemic is amazing , the pool assistant christy is AMAZING and made our trip the more worth it. Every place should have employees like her!

Dipping my toes back in the travel pool and I’m happy to have chosen Faena to warm these waters! In regards to safety, as soon as you walk into the hotel’s ultra glam lobby there are signs, stickers, masks, and sanitizers that follow you throughout. Every host stand or desk has a shield to block staff and guests, and when it came time for dining and pool all guest seating was separated from each other. Now on to the fun stuff, the hotel itself is something out of a movie. Every inch of the property is a picture moment, including a golden encrusted real life fossil mammoth just casually placed within the grounds. Pro tip I wished I learned earlier, don’t spend all of your time at the pool or beach, there is the most gorgeous spa hidden on one of the floors with the cutest jewelry and clothes for sale. Definitely making the rounds here first to begin my next visit. Read less

Remember that they serve pizza, and charge 5 times more than dominos for the same quality around the corner, while being the most expensive hotel room in town. Better sweet memories byebye Read less

I truly enjoyed my experience at Faena. I would say it was more fun staying at the resort during Covid. Staff & sevice was impeccable. I was able to do an early check in. I thourly enjoyed the resot and the ammenites. Food is very delicious but expensive.
