First, I’ll briefly mention the hotel - This place will not meet your expectations, it will surely exceed everything you had in mind. From the cozy elegant rooms, to the art work that adorns the walls, to the library, to the beautiful food prepared by the chef. Now, let’s get to the part that brings you back - the people! Juan, Paul, Rene, and Christopher are just a few of the people that made my trip exceptional. Each did their part to make my birthday weekend everything I could have imagined and I felt “at home” while experiencing the luxury of this beautiful hotel. I can’t wait to recommend them to friends and family, and I simply can’t stay anywhere else when I return to South Beach. Read less

We stayed twelve nights at the Betsy and only have wonderful things to say. We actually were only planning to stay 7 but couldn’t help but extend the trip another 5 days. We were especially thankful for Juan’s assistance and hospitality, and great restaurant service from Julietta, Enrique, Brian, and Youmari. We will definitely return! Read less

He made us feel welcome from the very beginning! Art, the very knowledgeable hotel concierge brought us water bottles and a glass of Prosecco as the cherry on top. Our room was very clean and warm, filled with books and beautiful art. We spent the afternoon at the rooftop pool where we tried The Betsy’s craft Amber beer recommended by Valerie, our bartender who was so much fun and made the most delicious drinks. We finished off the night with drinks at the bar, with the very talented pianist in the background. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we will most definitely return. Read less

I just got back from The Betsy and I'm not one to write a review. I have worked in the Travel industry for over half my life and stayed in some amazing hotels all over the world ( sorry not trying to sound too cliche). However, I never felt like this, almost a bit like you left home. The hotel is beautiful of course and location perfect and ticks all the right boxes and trusts me I have a lot of boxes to tick. I felt compelled to write a review because of the staff who have left such a lasting impression on me and for this reason alone I will be coming back, as sometimes it's not just the places you visit it's about the people you meet along the way that make your Travel experiences. My honourable mentions ROBERT PAYNE , was a superstar at this hotel as he was our bartender at the pool and in the lobby bar, so professional and attentive, he went over and beyond.. ART The Concierge well he is ‘surely’ iconic to this hotel as his knowledge of the area is beyond extensive. He helped us so much with recommendations for restaurants, Bars, shopping, activities and just the local area. His expertise is a true asset to this hotel. I love how he catered to us specifically. GARY Velazquez What a great bartender and person. Evan thank you also for being so Welcoming and warm as this makes lasting impressions for hotel guests, .and.last but not least GUSTAVO pool attendan, what a genuine gem to this hotel. Just one suggestion is having another mirror in the rooms. We had a room with a double beds but there was only one mirror which is in the bathroom, definitely could use another:))) Also loved the kinda theme of Rolling Stones and Golden Retrievers....
