We have been guests at The Betsy often over many years. Our most recent visit demonstrated once and for all that this is a great institution - not just a fine hotel - because of its people. From the warm and cordial Yusely, who booked the exact room of our dreams; to Fritzner at the front desk, who has the uncanny ability to discern one's every wish; to the servers Barbara and Rene, who bring us the cuisine we desire without our having to so much as glance at the menu; to the vigilant, friendly, ubiquitous, timely bellmen, Fritz and Juan, with their flawless intuition -- these are faithful members of the Betsy family who think of us as their family. I was, as always, sad to leave -- however, I am comforted to know that my wife and I are eternally welcome back. Read less

My stay at the Betsy was absolutely fabulous. I don’t normally do reviews but had to come on here and s/o a few staff members who truly made my experience one to remember. Juan was absolutely amazing. He made sure I was taken care of from the moment I walked in to walking my bags for me to my Uber when I left. Anything I needed he was right there to help. Alex and Genevieve at the bar took the upmost care of me throughout my entire stay. So kind and attentive. Truly some of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. Art the Concierge was so understanding and willing to help and answer any questions in anyway possible (as I had to check out late due to work meetings) I would highly recommend this location. Great food, great location and ever greater staff. Also wanted to note: if you are coming here for work there is an awesome coworking space on the 3rd floor I was able to get a ton of work done! Extremely pleased. Can’t beat an experience like this is Miami! Read less

We had a fabulous stay. It's a great hotel, in a great location. Fab room. Miami Beach is very expensive, but we knew that when we booked. Not a great fan of the jazz piano every night - but, hey - you know what you're getting! Art (Concierge) was fabulous, always ready with advice/tips.

Hotel is great: location, amenities, cuisine, & especially the service! One person who gave us exceptional service was JUAN, one of the amazing bellmen there. He went way out of his way to ensure our luggage was expedited quickly upon arrival & departure. & he gave us great tips for the area & the hotel!

On a quiet, sunny, calm, Monday morning I was strolling south beach alone and stumbled across Betsy. I was first nervous to eat here since I was alone. Most restaurants seem to shy away from solo diners since they would rather give the table to bigger parties. Daniel greeted me with a gentle smile and welcomed me with a menu and water. One thing I appreciated about the menu it was straightforward and not overwhelming. I decided to start my day off with Almond French toast and a healthy green juice. Daniel was assertive and made sure I didn’t need for anything. After breakfast he gave me a tour of the restaurant and even introduced me to the owner of the hotel. The owner was personable and friendly. I got the chance to meet his dogs Betsy and Rosa. My overall experience was 10 out 10. Thank you Read less
