From the warm reception by Lara and Maddie, to the pampering by the Club Lounge staff — Ollivia, Luis, Kyle, Astrid and Marbellys, everyone wished me a sincere “Welcome back” and made me feel right at home. Special shout out to the incredible Joao, Ambyr in Guest Relations, Manny on the beach, and Julio in engineering, who took the extra step of repairing the handle on my suitcase. No trip to this fabulous resort is complete without a visit to Jasmine and Brenda in the Spa. The warm and gracious service was complemented by beautiful sunrises and outstanding weather. I’m looking forward to my next visit already. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read less

Her response “tough luck”. Told the general manager, Hans , who did nothing. Missed two wake up calls. Housekeeping woke us even with Do Not Distrube sign on door knob. The restaurant, which is not part of Ritz, is the worst service even experienced. Every morning 20 plus minutes after sitting down waited for coffee. After six days, greeted by hostess like she never seen us before. Not a welcome back or anything. It really a shame because we have been coming here for years but the employee turn over, and lack of ritz Carlton training has made this property similar to Motel 6. Just not worth it. We did not enjoy our trip. Read less

Underwhelming experience at this property, particularly from a service perspective. Shortly after arrival, my credit card number was compromised after the only place it was used was the card reader at the check-in desk. I reported it to the hotel manager and received an "I'm sorry that happened" and nothing else. During the stay, I requested additional towels and hangers, but housekeeping never brought them. I also inquired about getting a cup of coffee from the coffee station that had been set up in the bar on prior days and was told it is only open for an hour earlier in the morning (it was 9am on a Saturday) and was then told I would have to purchase a cup of coffee in the restaurant for $6 for a plain coffee. In my view, that is extremely poor customer service at a Ritz charging a resort fee of $55/day. I was also told I could make coffee in my room, only to discovery that housekeeping had not restocked the coffee pods. I called to request more coffee pods and instead housekeeping brought extra coffee cups and we then waited 15 minutes for the correct item, coffee pods, to arrive. Apart from the service, I also found the rooms to be below-standard for other Ritz properties and the view from my room and several other business colleagues' rooms during our conference were terrible (e.g. buildings, rooftops, air conditioning units, etc.).
