One of the hottest spots to eat in South Beach, Miami. The RWSB Restaurants. Let me tell you about this restaurant. My husband and I ate here last night and if I could give this place an A+++++ or a 100 star rating, I would. The service was impeccable and we had two individuals catering to our hunger needs. Both Roman Grater and Ricky Blanco did an amazing job checking on us, recommending items from the menu, and awesome pass by conversations. These guys are hardworking and know the menu inside out. I have so many favorite parts pertaining to the service, environment, and food, but what keeps replaying in my mind is how both Roman and Ricky presented our dishes to us. Describing each dish before we began to eat and offering appetizers to pair with ours entrees. I could go on and on about this restaurant, but this review would be even longer. What I will do is give you all a list of some of the delicious foods and deserts we indulged in last night. -tuna poke tossed with Asian pears served with 3 large crispy house made chips and small seaweed squares. - half a dozen Pleasant Bay, MA oysters on a half shell -half a dozen Kusshi, BC oysters on a half shell -roasted asparagus topped with creamy cheesy hollandaise sauce -Bone-in prime ribeye, patatas bravas, spicy aioli -Red snapper, crispy rice, miso, Hon shimeji mushroom Dessert -Banana Creme Pie -Mint chocolate brownies So... as you can see this is one amazing place to eat and my husband and I highly recommend it. @candacenativejackson Read less

Stayed with my family at this hotel in December. Ambiance was nice but the pool and beach were overcrowded. If you are reading this review thinking that I gave a two-star because the food, service, and staff were terrible, I’m happy to say that they were not. Everyone from the front door to the pool staff was fantastic. We are Marriott Titanium members, and our W insider Kesia was terrific. She even replied to our text messages asking for suggestions on her day off. This 2-star review is for the Marriott management who acquired the SPG proprieties. The W in South Beach used to be a lot of fun with loud music at the pool. During our seven day stay, I always had to ask the bar staff at the pool to raise the volume of the music and all the times they told me some customers were complaining about the average volume it used to be in the past. According to all of them, it was guests from a corporate event. The W South Beach appears to be hosting more corporate events than it did before the acquisition. It is understandable since that’s what the Marriott brand does well. However, this is the W brand, and the Marriott management team should not lose sight of it. I’m all for the hotel to host more corporate meetings. However, you can’t change the hotel’s iconic brand (MUSIC) because folks don’t like loud music at the pool around 11:00 am. Also, there are a LOT more kids at the hotel since more Marriott members can now use their points. I honestly think that the W isn’t a kid-friendly hotel, and it is somewhat irritating to see this excellent party property turning into an average hotel for kids. Kids were in the pool doing kids things which evolves splashing water on folks and screaming their lungs out. It is annoying if you don’t have kids. There were many other couples without children complaining about the number of kids and the quiet music during the morning. My suggestion is for the hotel to turn the smaller pool area into a kid’s place. I think it would help a lot the hotel to keep its identity and brand. I would suggest the St. Regis in Punta Mita or Ritz in Aruba since sounds more both properties have adult-only pools. Marriott, please don’t let the W South Beach become a boring JW Marriott. Business folks visiting the hotel also need to understand this is the W. If you think it is too crazy or loud, you need to tell your company to schedule your next event at a Marriott hotel instead. People with kids, take your lovely children to the Ritz Carlton down the street since it is more family-oriented. Lastly, for those at the pool complaining about the cost of drinks at the hotel should stay home next time. This is SOUTH BEACH in case you forgot and not Myrtle Beach, SC. Read less

Guillermo was our Insider and he was amazing in sorting out what ever we asked for! Our 2 bed suite was fabulous and with a fantastic view over the beach and Miami. 5 stars all around.
