The hotel

Splendid Studio Suites are located on the 3rd floor, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Wonderful Studio Suites are located on the 4th and 5th floors, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Spectacular Studio Suites are located on floors 9-19, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Two Queen Studio Suites are available on a range of floors, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Fabulous Studio Suites feature an outdoor day bed on the oversized balcony with oceanfront views, and either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Fantastic Suites feature a separate living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults. 

Oasis Suites feature a media room with sofa bed, separate living room with full kitchen and washer/dryer, bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, additional powder room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Mega Suites are located on the 6th floor and are bi-level suites featuring a private outdoor plunge pool, rooftop terrace, outdoor rain shower, separate lounge and kitchenette, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Marvelous Suites are oceanfront corner suites with separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, full bathroom with separate bathtub and shower, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Sanctuary Suites are located on floors 7 and above, with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and separate living room with kitchenette, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

Cool Corner Suites are two bedroom oceanfront corner suites, with separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, and wraparound balcony, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

Sensational Suites feature multiple balconies, media room with sofa bed, full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub, separate living room and full kitchen with washer/dryer, and 2 bedrooms each with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Poolside Bungalow Rooms are tri-level apartments overlooking the WET Deck and the Grove, featuring a rooftop terrace with plunge pool and outdoor shower, enclosed garden, living room and kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, sleeping maximum 5 adults.

Hotel is gorgeous, location is ideal if you want beach, and service was impeccable. I’ve stayed at a dozen hotels in Miami Beach but never the W South Beach, and I will never stay at another hotel! We arrived early and our room was not ready yet so they gave us access to a lounge (a stunning 2 bedroom suite), with champagne and cheese for guests. They also gave us access to a different room set up for changing and showering, as well as snacks and water. Lobby is sleek and elegant. Pool area is beautiful and like a relaxing oasis - no deafening club music. Great for families but not overrun with screaming children either. Pool is warm and wonderful. The location of this hotel is perfect. The beach is steps away and had no red tide (I’ve had problems further north). Easy to access neighboring restaurants and a quick drive to most of Miami Beach and other neighborhoods. They also offer a complimentary shuttle. Our premium studio king suite room was on the 9th floor, had incredible ocean and beach views and was beautifully furnished and immaculate. The floor to ceiling sliding doors opened to the balcony - we could have stayed all day just relaxing and staring at the ocean. Note - there was required construction to the facade which was noisy on one side of rooms. If it is still in progress, ask for a room on the north side, ending in 10 to 30. We were not able to use fitness classes or the gym but plenty on offer for a longer visit. Lastly, the service was outstanding. Everyone from the valet to the lobby check in, the concierge (super responsive by text for any question or need), the service (I called for help with the TV and had someone helping me within 3 minutes), the beach staff, etc. Rita (in management) was especially accommodating and went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of. This hotel is superb - whether you’re there with a group, your family, or your partner, I can’t think of a better place while you’re in Miami. Read less

The property is very clean and beautiful. We were at the pool and beach for the day to enjoy the sun and staff was very attentive. Alejandra at the pool was great and Brian by the beach who helped us out was awesome. Highly recommend. Special thanks to the people mentioned and others we cannot remember the names of.

Wow, It was a wonderful stay , I used points to book a room. I am a an Ambassador member and upgrades me to a sea view one... was assume. Everything was amazing .... stuff ... food ... rooms ... restaurants and for sure the beach. Also they gave me a late check out since my flight was late evening. I appreciate all the effort.
