We have been to several South Florida luxury beach hotels, and I have to say this one was probably the worst experience we have had. First of all, I am not sure you can call it a hotel. This was clearly built as apartments/condos that they operate in part as a hotel. The property does not give off the hotel vibe at all and the facilities are not on par with other Ritz-Carlton hotels we have been to. Location: the access is very strange and the property is hard to find. You need to follow signs to the Residences (again, this is clearly not a real hotel). Valet parking only - no self parking available. Pool: the pool are is on the small side and does not feel like a resort pool, more like an apartment pool. Beach: This is a strange location right by Haulover inlet. The water gets really choppy here and the beach is constantly dirty. Do not stay here for a beach experience. Rooms: The rooms feel more like apartments than hotel rooms. Storage areas throughout the apartments are locked (guessing it's the owner's storage) and hanging/drawer space is very limited. Food: The food is not bad, but the service was very slow. Poke Bowl was quite good actually. Overall the staff seemed to try hard to make this an enjoyable experience, but unfortunately the property is a big miss. Similar price point hotels I would recommend over this one: Aqualina, St. Regis, Faena. Read less

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful resort! Room very spacious with large balcony, staff very welcoming and eager to assist, food at restaurant delicious! Beach on the smaller side, but still beautiful and lots of front row spaces for loungers. Beach staff very pleasant and attentive. Easy 15 min walk to Bal Harbour shops/restaurants. Will be back!

My recent beach service experience with Laz at the Ritz-Carlton in Bal Harbour was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped onto the pristine sands to the seamless service provided by the beach attendants, every detail exceeded my expectations. Thank you times a million :)

Really awesome customer service he recommended me the ceviche as something refreshing with some pina coladas I couldn’t resist. Food and drinks were here so fast!! The employees are definitely living up to the name of the reputation of the Ritz. Great staff Read less
