First impressions were amazing. Even thinking of rebooking as I’m a travel agent and was only discussing with a potential about how good the hotel was and the lobby was beautiful. The garden and the water feature. For us to find human feces in our bed after a day at the park. I was shocked and disgusted, my son was about to dive into it as I pulled sheets back for him to go to bed. We booked a night for the fast pass and for me to review for my work page. I rang concierge straight away and he was mortified he didn’t know what to say, he sent house keeping manager up she came within 10-15 minutes and she apologised I think she also took photos and told me it was unacceptable and she’d contact front desk for compensation. Not long after a maid came to change the bed, it had soaked to the mattress topper I didn’t see on mattress but surely the mattress should’ve been cleaned or something?? as she was changing the bed, Wayne from the desk rang me and said he could offer free breakfast, we’re off straight to park so I told him this and he said ok, Then he said he’d refund 50 percent. I got off phone told my husband what he had said and obviously wasn’t happy. We’re British so rather polite with anything and don’t ever wanna cause any fuss and we’re not fussy people but this was just disgusted the room was obviously not cleaned. We were not offered a room change it was 9-10pm at night after a day at park and then pool so we were so tired. My husband went downstairs and Wayne took him off to side to discuss and wasn’t really fussed he told us to email and all he could offer is what he had offered. Mean while the house keeping manager came back and asked if the second bed was ok, now in my head I’d be thinking this bed hasn’t been changed so surely this one hasn’t. So she started to check it and then was like no no and then stripped that bed obviously dirty as well. She then replaced towels, no sides been cleaned or anything. Surely you’d deep clean a room if you found it in that state? I am still shocked and not slept my children didn’t want to sleep in the beds so there’s 3 of us in one bed and husband in the bed that feces was in. To top it off after posting on a media page someone had commented saying they had issues last month not to our extent but they were giving free breakfast and 50 percent refund for unkept room as broken sink in working tv and stains on curtains. We had literal human poop in our bed doesn’t even come in par! Safe to say I will not be recommended this hotel and I will be informing everyone I can about this experience to avoid this hotel. You can’t change what’s happened but definitely hotel had chance to change the outcome and our experience. We have 7 days left of our holiday I really hope we don’t end up with a stomach virus from this. Read less

From start to finish, our recent stay at Royal Pacific was fantastic. I made it a priority upon returning home to give credit where credit was earned, and this resort definitely earned it. This is our 3rd stay at this resort and by far the best. The lobby gives a warm welcome with its tropical ambiance (it also smells amazing!) My husband and I traveled with my parents and we had 2 water view rooms booked. Both rooms had a fantastic view (one of the pool, and the other of the boat transportation waterway and IOA). The view of IOA was particularly fun at night! We appreciated the staffs attention to detail in placing the rooms in close proximity to each other. The beds were very comfortable, particularly the pillows! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Could do without the bed coverlets, but if that's the worst we can come up with I'd say this resort is a winner for sure. We appreciated the quick walk to and from the parks, especially for the early morning park entry perk. We were extremely lucky to be able to walk on to Hagrid's 2 mornings in a row! We also loved the express passes and made the most of them. Huge benefit when your family wants to ride Velocicoaster in the middle of the afternoon! Jake's American Bar is a great option for a quick lunch or late dinner after park close. Good food, fair prices, and super easy for resort guests. We will definitely be booking Royal Pacific for our next Universal vacation. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Read less

I can not express my disappointment in my stay here. On a vacation to Orlando. I surprised my partner with a one night stay in this luxury hotel. And after check in. It was such a let down. Window was dirty and view was blurred and unsightly. Stains on the both beds in the room. And on both head boards. Toilet had be used and not flushed or cleaned. Stains on the inside of the bathroom door. And stains and dirty marks on the skirting boards and on the walls. Sink in the bathroom was cracked. Also when we had a walk around the hotel we saw a sign saying the pool facilities were closed for the duration of our stay. I was surprised this was not said to me at check in. For the price of this hotel and the name attached to it. I felt so let down. And the surprise stay here with my partner was just a let down. We were given another room but. It was cleaner. The room seemed less didn’t have the walk in shower. Read less

I planned a trip solo with my two young daughters to Universal and booked 4 nights here because of the Fast Pass inclusion (which was very much worth it). Some thoughts: - Check in was a breeze, with a very helpful and friendly staff. Also getting the tickets and setting up the week was very easy and pleasant. Overall the staff was fantastic given someone who has never been to this hotel or theme park before and had two very excited daughters wanting to the do everything immediately. It's a fantastic touch to have your fast pass be your hotel key. Well done. - The rooms were a bit dated, but they were (suprisingly) spacious, very clean, and had great showers. For me though, the beds are key. Its shocking to say but after a month long business trip where I stayed at ultra luxury hotels around the world...these were some of the most comfortable beds I had slept on in a hotel in a very long time. To say I was shocked is an understatement. - The pool is really fantastic. A great way to end the day and wind down after the park. My daughters loved it and we actually had dinner there one night which was very easy. As with check in, the staff was very friendly and everything was extremely easy. They even set up a movie to watch outside one of the nights. The food was very good, and the drinks I had from the bar were fantastic. A shot out to the bartender as well who was above and beyond friendly. -Theres a great breakfast stop in the lobby that has pretty much anything you would want to grab before heading to the parks. Again, very friendly and helpful staff. - Very easy to get the park either by walking or taking a very well run boat system. The girls loved the boat, and then we walked a few times when either the lines to get on were a bit long or we just wanted to get the extra time walking around. Overall, I was really surprised just how easy and streamlined the entire process was. The hotel and park seem to have the entire experience down to a science. It's a rare experience these days where a place seems to genuinely understand exactly what a customer would want and delivers it flawlessly. Overall my stay was so easy it just meant I could enjoy the experience of being at the resort and parks. Things that should be included were included and I felt as though the prices (while obviously not cheap) were in line with expectations. Nothing felt predatory at all. Overall, this place delivers exactly what I was hoping for when I booked it. When you factor in the free Fast Passes I was blown away by the value here. The hotel offers just the right amount of entertainment options to supplement going to the parks, and gives you a very comfortable night's sleep. Highly recommend. Read less

The site is huge, well maintained and with plenty of amenities. The service from staff is outstanding. I was simply overwhelmed by their kindness and attention to our needs. The concierge and front desk staff were super helpful. The dining options outstanding. The meeting rooms were very well done.
