Hotel was great and high quality through out, food was good in taste and portion size. I recommend to include fast pass at this facility as well as other Lowes hotels, it is a critical tool for improving quality of experience.

Opted for this hotel via a trip advisor sourced deal, as well as mostly favourable reviews. There are so many hotels in Orlando but as we primarily wanted to combine theme park action alongside some poolside relaxation, this seemed to tick boxes for both. After making the booking about 10 months before our hols, I did check reviews periodically and wished sometimes that I hadn't as some of them were really not great but decided that no Loews hotel would be disappointing..... and this hotel absolutely was not! It was exactly what we were expecting - well located, well appointed, gorgeous sprawling pool with more than enough sunbeds for all, rooms no more or less than they are advertised as being and during our 6 night stay, experienced nothing but prompt, friendly and helpful service throughout. The concierge desk especially who went over an above on a couple of occasions, feedback for which I shared in their own post-stay questionnaire also. Facilities wise the boat shuttle service to City Walk was efficient, but often there were queues so you had to wait for the next one c. 20-25 mins. LOTS of guests from the Adventura hotel used the service as well though which we didn't realise until the penultimate day. The laundry room was a really helpful bonus and for $3 a load + $3 for a dryer meant for the first holiday in ages there was not 2 days' worth of washing to do when we got home! The gym has to be one of the best we've had at any hotel - really big, clean and every bit of kit was functioning. Food and drink wise, we visited the New Dutch Trading almost daily, great to grab a decent coffee and snack before heading out to parks, but when not eating in City Walk, we did so near the Dhrum Club Kantine or on the sunloungers themselves. Expensive yes, but where isn't?! But everything was consistently nice and good quality. The cocktails and wine choices were also good and it made for a nice holiday vibe to sit by the pool until close (11pm) enjoying the music and warmth. We had one meal at the Strong Water Tavern which was ok, there was a bit of drama with someone being ill though so wasn't the best environment that night plus the food took forever - almost an hour, we didn't even get a discount/free drink to compensate so with my daughter preferring poolside food anyway we never went back. We had breakfast only once at the Amatista restaurant which was fine, was being pushed to go for the all-inclusive/eat as much as you like type deal, but managed to get the message across that we just wanted eggs, toast, juice and coffee! On our last day, our flight was pushed back for about the 4th time since we had been in the US but not wanting to pay 50% of the room cost just to use it until 4pm, we checked out on time and made the most of the lovely pool area one last time. With the gym shower facilities, hairdryers and towels in the gym, getting long-haul flight ready in the end really wasn't an inconvenience. Read less

We loved this hotel and will be back. The hotel was very clean, pet friendly and all the staff were very nice! This was our third trip to Universal, but the first time staying at this hotel. I loved being able to walk or ride the water taxi to the parks! The pool is AMAZING and the staff is very attentive.

It is a beautiful property that is well maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Universal store on property was really good. The restaurant quality and bistro options are good and fairly priced. The beds are okay, but they’re not as good as Portofino or Hard Rock. However, you’re not paying premier prices either…

This recent holiday was our second visit as a family to Orlando and a second stay At Sapphire Falls. We chose to stay 4 days at the end of our villa holiday, as it meant no driving, early park admission and all the benefits of city walk for eating. We used the pool and gym too. Sapphire Falls is a luxurious hotel with an affordable price tag. It feels opulent, comfortable and is beautifully decorated. The pool is by far the best of the universal hotels. This holiday was a mixture of thrill rides, fun rides, experiences and relaxation. Volcano Bay feels like a visit to the pacific Islands as well. Something for everyone! I am 55 and have been to Universal 5 times and twice with family. It is not just for families and is fun as a girls/lads break and even walking around the park alone is really safe and enjoyable.
