We stayed here for the first time to experience the parks and enjoy a concert. The hotel itself is nice and still new, but seemed "cold" with no character. We stayed here for the first time to experience the parks and enjoy a concert. The hotel itself is nice and still new, but seemed "cold" with no character. We enjoy the other hotels more where there are themes and seem more comfortable with things to do. The pool area was small, but the bar was great offering amazing views. Our main disappointment was check-in where no information about the property was given, not verbally nor with map/brochure. It was not very friendly nor welcoming. If you get a good price and want a good location for Universal, this is a nice place to stay if Cabana Bay and Sapphire Falls are booked.

We really liked the hotel. It was clean, modern and convienently located. The pool area is nice and its like 5 feet from volcanno bay and the bus is quick to get to city walk or your water taxi from Saphire Falls is easy and peacefull as well. Lots of pleseant options to get to and from the parks. Transportation is way easier then at Disney.

we had the best experience with our teenage children. The hotel was accommodating and getting to the parks was a breeze. There was enough for them to do to be independent and still spend time together.

We stayed for 3 nights at Aventura and it was pretty great. Nice room, mostly clean. Friendly enough staff but most important for us was the location, it's a nice 10 min walk to both parks or most days we walked to the hotel next door and took the boat, security was so quick and easy and super convenient and a lot of the boat drivers are fun. We slept well and although we had people next to and above us we couldn't hear them at all, only noticed them when we where near the connecting door, but 99% of the time you'd think you are the only people in the building. The tablet to control the room was super cool and easy to use, even if we didn't get a robot to drop off some shampoo :( . So overall it's a good hotel that does the job, there was a couple of negatives but they are very subjective and minor and wouldn't stop me booking here again just like to talk about negative stuff. The bath was weirdly small, not sure if this is normal for America but for a Brit was odd, very small shampoo bottles in the room, we ordered more and came super quick but the guy who dropped it off I think was waiting for a tip, it was our 2nd night, hadn't quite adapted to the whole tipping thing, realised after i should have. The pool is nice we went of an evening there was just us 2 In the pool but 5 life guards watching us, I fully get the safty thing but was super off-putting hard to relax with so many eyes on us. Check in could have been better, felt very slow and although 2 people on the desk and 5 couples waiting to check in only one person was checking in. ( We did an early-ish flight that was 2 hours delayed and Orlando airport is a nightmare) so we where extra on edge and that annoyed us quite a bit. We did not eat here but looks good. And layout messes with your head a little. I said the room was mostly clean and it was, bed clean and comfy, but under the desk there was a plug and cables for the tv and they had a very thick layer of dust on them, only notice when moving the little bin, that stuff basically never bothers me, it happens, but it was the thickest iv ever seen, but not a bother just thought worth mentioning. With all these little issues none of them are even problems that would put me off here or stop me from recommending this hotel Still had a great time here and want to go back but you know, nothing is perfect, except the entrance music to islands of adventure

Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. If your holiday is going ahead as planned, you can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. If you’re unsure, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel by requesting a call back in Manage My booking for one of our team to look at options. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.
We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility.

If we haven’t notified you of any changes, your holiday will be going ahead as planned but if you prefer to move your holiday to a later time we can help. You can call our team on 0344 472 9499 who can look at options for you.
Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
