Stayed as a family of four in a suite. We asked for quiet and were given tenth floor, room 97. Basically as far away as possible from the lifts and with no one above (the higher floors don’t go around the full building). We didn’t hear a peep from neighbouring rooms over the two weeks so the thin walls didn’t appear to apply! I do think if we were more central or on the ground floor we’d have been annoyed with the noise as other guests make some noise moving along the corridors irrespective of time! The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Only issue is the lack of storage but we knew that before we went. I wasn’t impressed with Pier 8 but the kids did like it. I found a lack of choices but it’s well priced. We got the unlimited drinks which is a good deal ($30 for 14 nights per cup). I’d suggest the restaurant machines as the pool ones were overly watery. The pool…it’s nice with plenty lifeguards. Only criticism is that the rules are too tight with harder pool toys not allowed nor are harder balls. So it’s beach balls only! I think if we went back I’d probably consider surfside just for closer access to I Drive. Read less

Amazing Hotel and we would stay again. We are regular travellers to Florida from the uk and have stayed in many accommodations over the years from basic Disney Hotels to Animal Kingdom Hotel, Motels and Private Houses so feel can give a good review. Yes The Hotel is busy but aren’t they all around Disney and Universal. We found the hotel very clean including the rooms. Yes there is not much storage space in the rooms but we just live out of our suitcases whilst we are there. After all it’s just shorts and T Shirts. We were on the 7th floor and had two rooms and did not hear any noise and found once we left the lobby and food area it was quite quiet perhaps we were just lucky. We would stay again and my daughter is returning with her friend in December 2024 and she would not do that as she is as fussy. I would say this is more of a hotel for young adults up wards due to it not being a Disney Hotel you don’t seem to get the young children but also suitable for that ages too. Coach to the theme parks was very good and often We didn’t use the pool but area looked nice. Read less

Please do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else to stay. In a word? Disaster. How they won any award is beyond me. This place was awful. It had been a horrible experience when we had only been there one night... but then it just kept getting worse. I won’t pontificate on every disastrous occurrence, but I will say I stopped at the front desk to get something and en route we accidentally left our unopened, just purchased large sized water bottle at one of the counters in the lobby. I called down there to ask if they had found it and they said they hadn’t but that if they had, someone would have thrown it away. I spoke to one front desk person, then her manager and then her boss, all of whom said they were sorry but were unwilling to explain why they'd toss an UNOPENED water bottle after a few seconds and not provide to me a new water bottle or allow me to come and get a new one free of charge since it was a personal item (for the past 2 seconds since I had JUST purchased it from their store) and not their responsibility. So, Manager Johnathan Melendez, let me get this straight: you’ll take over a thousand dollars for my stay, but when I accidentally left a brand new water bottle down there for FIVE MINUTES that I had JUST paid $7.50 for (cold opportunists), you decided on cutting me off rather than hearing me out first and then you decided on an answer other than, “These things happen and we are so sorry. We will bring you a new water bottle shortly,”?!?! Would it have helped if you knew that it was literally a medical requirement that I had the water? Or do you truly just not care? I personally went to the lobby to see if it was left elsewhere down there and a very sweet worker HAD found it and personally saw to it that I got a BRAND NEW water bottle back, free of charge, since indeed someone had throw it away. But this person was with the coffee shop and NOT the hotel. HOW KIND OF HER. BLESS GOD, THAT is how you treat people. I wish Johnathan Melendez gets schooled by a Nordstrom, Chick Fil A trainer, or coffee shop worker STAT and is dethroned swiftly from the job he is clearly unsuited for. Never. Again. Our departure date from that place can’t come soon enough. The walls are PAPER THIN and the rooms are atrocious. Truly. We could hear about every word of the LOUD next door neighbors who decided midnight was still not late enough to be quiet and let everyone around them rest. It feels like the lowest level of accommodations we could possibly have chosen. We couldn’t be more disappointed. Except of course for the one kind worker who did the right thing when THREE OTHERS had CHOSEN to insult me and then do nothing. Nothing. Really?? You couldn’t replace a disposable water bottle? How embarrassing for your hotel. It’s not the price of the water bottle. Who cares?! It’s the PRINCIPLE. PEOPLE MATTER. God help you. What’s wrong with this resort and its leadership?! There was another incident where my daughter was vomiting in the restroom and I called to see if someone had a pepto tablet they could run up to the room. OH NO. NOT THAT!! There would be liability reasons why they couldn't do that. Liability reasons that didn't stop the Universal theme park from helping ME with such a tablet just a day prior. No. Instead, they asked me to come down myself and purchase some from the gift shop. I was terrified to bring my little girl with me but couldn't risk leaving her alone when she felt so bad and at too young an age to leave her alone so we both had to go downstairs for this 1 pepto tablet to give her some relief. UNBELIEVABLE. Truly. Just, please don't bother. The bedding was SOOOO uncomfortable and I can sleep anywhere. I'm the least picky person regarding bedding. But this had snags all over it as though a herd of cats had brawled on it four summers ago and they hadn't bothered to change them out. I even called to request a replacement and NOPE. Never got THAT either. Shocking, I know. Read less

I stayed in Endless Summer Dockside Resort for two weeks at the beginning of July 2024. The hotel is large and very busy. Check-in was fairly easy, and I believe an online check-in is available. Our room was on the 10th floor of the hotel and was clean and adequate for our party of two adults and one child. There wasn't a great deal of storage space in the room, and as we didn't have access to a balcony the way you would in a European hotel, there was limited possibility to dry wet clothing. There were plenty of charging points for electrical equipment, and the socket outlets all had USB A and C connections. The main issue we had with the room was the noise from neighbouring rooms. The walls are very thin and have adjoining doors to next-door rooms. We could hear conversations going on in the corridor and neighbouring rooms, which was disappointing when trying to get to sleep at night. I wouldn't even say our neighbours were particularly noisy it was more a case of poor quality deafening between rooms that was the cause. The hotel pools were good, and both had bars at them. The price for food and drinks in the hotel was fairly expensive and we only used the food court on a couple of occasions, usually when we wanted to get an early start and it was convenient to eat on property beforehand. The main benefit of this hotel is its close proximity to Universal Orlando resort and the fact you get early access to Volcano Bay and Islands of Adventure. The buses taking guests to the parks are pretty regular, and we never waited more than five minutes for a bus. We found the hotel very busy, and if you're looking for a quiet place to unwind after a busy day at the parks, then this is not the place for it! Having said that, we enjoyed our stay here and the benefits of early park admission and location. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite at this hotel, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Read less
