The food was ok, fair price. The pool area was very clean as well! We stayed at room 1758 and we loved it! It was very worthy to be at this location and have shuttles that takes us to all the universal parks and city walk! We had a blast! Read less

Loved the room. We had the 2 bedroom suite. Very clean and looked new. Nice tub/shower. Since we arrived before checkin there was only 1 room available so we took it. It was a long walk from the lobby and restaurant but since it was out of the way maybe that is why it was very quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from surrounding rooms. Would… Read more

Would be nice if they had soda stations on each floor so you can go refill cups instead of going all the way back to the restaurant. Never had to wait for bus to the parks. Read less

Never waited more than 3 minutes!! Staff were exceptional and gave us a complimentary late check out, as I was feeling unwell on our last day. There were a couple of drawbacks, but nothing that would put us off staying again. Storage for clothes is limited in standard rooms and the walls are thin. We always take a white noise machine with us to drown out hotel noise, which did the job! We would be delighted to stay here again. The hotel has such a lovely vibe and cosy feel. Another drawback....the post holiday blues, because our stay was so wonderful!!! :( Read less

The line for check in was really long and only 4 employees checking in guest. It took about 35 minutes to check in. We got a free upgrade from a 2 bed room to 3 beds with a separate room for the third bed. I was very grateful for the upgrade. The rooms are nice. There is a table and a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There wasn't any coffee in the room though. The beds are comfortable. The TV has plenty of channels. The shower was hot and water pressure was good. The resort is beautiful. We only stayed one night so we did not get to really enjoy the whole resort. There were plenty of shuttle bosses to the parks and never a wait. My biggest complaint is the $19.99 plus tax daily parking fee. I hate parking fees. It's just free easy money for the rich owners. I get nothing to show for the money. It would not be bad if they could give you a voucher for the restaurant or gift shop. Read less

Overall we felt the hotel room (Suite with 3 beds) was a great value for the price. Overall we felt the hotel room (Suite with 3 beds) was a great value for the price. We loved having a separate bedroom, kitchenette with a table, and 2 vanities in the bath area to help everyone get ready quickly. The larger sized fridge was also very nice to have and a welcome surprise. My constructive criticisms regarding our room: the extra bedroom needed a larger closet area to fit our luggage, along with a few drawers to store our clothes. The shelf below the tv in there was too slim to put most of our items on. I also would have liked a small magnifying mirror next to the sink. My husband and brother both felt the room and bathroom smelled musty/mildewy when we arrived - as if it hadn't been cleaned or used in a long time. One of the sinks in the room was backing up/draining very slowly. My brother opened up the drain cover to find that a previous guest's hair was stuck under the cover and clogging the sink. The check-in experience we had was fantastic and we appreciated the upgraded room for our anniversary/my birthday. The on-site restaurant in the hotel was also a very happy surprise for us as the food we all had there was very good compared to other hotels we've stayed at in this price range! Last, but not least, I want to include how impressed I was with how the staff at the hotel handled the influx of people due to the hurricane. The line for the lobby bar was incredibly long for several hours and the bartenders I could see were doing the best they could. We appreciated being able to hang out with a few drinks in the cafeteria area with our friends to pass the time and get our mind off the storm. The crew did a great job cleaning up the pool areas for people to use the next day as well. Everyone we came across at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future when we need a budget option for our Universal trips! Read less
