At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, larger-than-life sports, music and movie icons surround the rooms as Disney's quality and unique styling is everywhere you look. All three hotels are situated close to the Theme Parks, providing a holiday home for rest and relaxation right in the heart of the action. The stage is set at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, as massive figures from your favourite Disney movies take a starring role— from the dotted pups of 101 Dalmations to the playful toys of Andy’s Room. The expansive main pool is inspired by Disney's Fantasia, but if you're looking for something a bit more relaxing - the hockey rink styled pool inspired by The Mighty Ducks film series might be your thing. And the theme continues in the food court as you find yourself in what resembles a grand movie theatre lobby with endless choices to curb your hunger. If being surrounded by Disney movies isn't enough, enjoy watching these films under the stars at night along with campfire activities for all the family to enjoy - a magical way to end the day.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area (approximately 15 minutes from the park by coach). Distance from Orlando International Airport: 24 miles.

Hotel information

Rooms and suites are situated on 3 floors in 10 buildings with 2 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, complimentary WiFi access, coffee maker, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. All rooms offer views of either the car park, courtyard, or pool area.

All Star Movies Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 years in a cot. 

All Star Movies Preferred Rooms have a preferred resort location. Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping a maximum 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children, plus one child under 3 years old in a cot.

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay. Complimentary hotel parking

World Premiere Food Court (cinema-themed food court with a variety of stations, open for all day dining). Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar (serving snacks and a wide range of beverages).

The room was super clean, and the beds were comfortable. Service was excellent and speedy. Everyone is so friendly! The in-room Disney Echo box is really handy especially for ordering linens, pillows, blankets, cups ... I did notice a mildew smell coming from the vent when the AC was on, so we kept it off. Great place to stay . Nice and clean lots of space in the room . There food if you required it a little expensive for what it is . The drink cup deal is good pay $22 and unlimited refills throughout your stay . Both pool are good for kids . Staff are friendly and there a bus service to connect you to all the entertainment parks

We have stayed in this resort several times before. This time we stayed in the Dalmation building which had renovated rooms and was very close to the main pool, dining hall and transportation. It was a great location. The renovated rooms are great, everything was very clean and comfortable. The theming of this hotel is just the cutest, be sure to take some time to walk around. The transportation to and from the parks is very convenient and a major perk to staying onsite so we took advantage of that every day. Read less

Service and rooms were excellent. I know people mentioned the walls are thin, but to be honest we heard nothing. The kids used the larger of the two pools. We had breakfast and dinner a few days, we did not go with the coupons as my kids are not big eaters. We did get the drink cups, though rarely used it to be honest. Staff were very friendly

Went to check in and the magic bands we had ordered, paid for and were specifically chosen by our kids were not ready. Went to check in and the magic bands we had ordered, paid for and were specifically chosen by our kids were not ready. The front desk lady checked and advised they had arrived 3 days ago and were sitting in another part of the resort. No apology no nothing, just "we will get them to you later today. A couple of hours later and still no bands, so i spoke to someone different who then also advised the exact same thing but advised there was no notes saying they will be delivered today. Over an hour later still nothing so I called front desk and was put on hold for so long it rang out. I called again and asked for a manager only to be told I would have to wait for a call back. Someone from front desk called within minutes but was not a manager. They then said they would be delivered or we could purchase other bands instead. I said no as the ones my children chose weeks ago were sitting in the resort! A manager called Parker then got on the phone and advised that the bands would be delivered but would not commit to a time frame, i asked if it would be an hour, 2 hours, 3 hours? he wouldnt commit. Had to explain to the kids that they had to wait for their bands (which when we stayed at Coronado Springs last visit before we had kids, were presented upon arrival with beautiful customer service) a bit of the Disney magic was lost. Much like when we went to purchase some food and drinks at the resort with the card we were given instead of the band didn't work because the front desk lady hadn't got us to set a pin. so yet another trip to the front desk. I would definitely NOT be staying at All star resort again. Read less
