The hotel

At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, larger-than-life sports, music and movie icons surround the rooms as Disney quality and unique styling are everywhere you look. All three hotels are situated close to the Theme Parks, providing a holiday home for rest and relaxation right in the heart of the action. Disney’s All-Star Music Resort will get your toes tapping with pools shaped like a guitar and a piano, plus its five music-themed hotel areas—dedicated to country, jazz, Broadway, calypso and rock ‘n’ roll—are adorned with a massive juke box and giant instruments. Dining consists of colourful marketplace food court with options ranging from tasty finger food to hot meals, or just grab a sandwich and a beer by the Calypso pool from the Singing Spirits Bar. You'll certainly be in high spirits at this hotel.

In Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort area (approximately 15 minutes from the park by coach). Distance from Orlando International Airport: 24 miles.

Hotel information

Rooms and suites are situated on 3 floors in 10 buildings with 2 lifts per building. All have air-conditioning, cable TV with Disney Channel, complimentary WiFi access, safe, mini-fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. 

All Star Music Standard Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 people, plus one child under 3 years in a cot.  

Disney's All Star Music Preferred Rooms have a preferred resort location. Rooms have 2 double beds, sleeping a maximum 4 people, plus one child under 3 years old in a cot.  

All Star Music Family Suites are larger in size, featuring a microwave, kitchenette, coffee maker, 2 bathrooms. These suites have 1 queen-size bed plus 2 queen-size pull down beds, sleeping maximum 6 persons. (Please note: we recommend the 5th/6th person in this room be under the age of 9 due to bedding configurations).

Use of the Walt Disney World Resort Transportation System is included in your stay. Complimentary hotel parking.

Intermission Food Court (offering a variety of stations, open for all day dining). Singing Spirits Pool Bar (serving snacks and a wide range of beverages).

Clean but paper thin walls. We could hear people in adjoining rooms using the restrooms and we could also hear alarms going off. One should be able to expect reasonable quiet while in our room. I have stayed at this resort in the past and my experience was not the best. Years ago we had a cockroach in our room. However, I had read this resort had updated their rooms and I thought I would give it a try since I was only going for three nights. When I first arrived, I opened our room and was hit with a very strong musty odor. After contacting guest services, we were moved. When we were pulling down the one bed, it sounded as if it were going to fall apart. Next, we pulled the sheets down and we were disgusted to see dried blood and hair on the sheets. This hotel does not take cleanliness seriously. I would not recommend this resort. Read less

Spotless loved our stay very very very nice. pool is themed really well. Perfect trip as always. Perfect place to stay for family & kids. Our room location was perfect for our family as well. You can get a spot at the pool easily.

Stayed here before volunteering at Run Disney & other times. Prices way up like all resorts, even value ones. Staff is really nice, Lana helped Michael at ck in to apply my Reward dollars, thanks! Room is ok but no luggage rack or shower mat (slippery!) or body lotions (they dropped off a couple later). Room actually not warm enough, cuz so rainy… Read more

Room is ok but no luggage rack or shower mat (slippery!) or body lotions (they dropped off a couple later). Room actually not warm enough, cuz so rainy we were always wet. I kept the temp at 78 (highest setting) & couldn't believe I was chilly! Food court looked good, & the pics of stars on walls were great. Got the Boss Bruce S, Beach Boys! :D Busses only transportation at All Stars so be aware, can be lines. Read less

Don't be fooled. This is a smoking facility. They advertise smoke free and only at a designated spot...lues. We had five scooters smoking below us with oxygen. Cms went right by them. No one will approach because its suppose to be a happy place. We were told only security is able to approach. This was all the time...chain smoking… Read more

This was all the time...chain smoking there...everywhere...vapes and my kids were smelling skunk...actually pot!!! I am terminal and this once our once in a lifetime trip. Btw...they do it at the parks too. In the restrooms and when it's dark. A group hit the potjust before the fireworks...I guess to buzz with em. Sad. Also no one speaks English except the front desk. Our scooter was there but was told it wasn't multiple times. We had a knock at the he door...a non English speaker wanted in apparently to replace the fridge sticker. He did and it fell off. Lol.. Never stay at a place without indoor hallways if you are anon smoker andxabt take it. Read less
