Everything was in excellent condition + there were many nice little touches. We had a condo overlooking the golf course in the Turtle Pond area. We were in a quiet location (NOT on a bus route or turn around) but still had easy access to both transportation and recreational amenities. I would definitely recommend and next time would spend more time at the Resort itself and less time at the Parks. We liked the easy and free boat transportation to Disney Springs where we enjoyed many fine dining options. Read less

Caveat. Old Key West is our home timeshare; but, even after trying other Disney resorts, we still keep coming back. It is very laid back and quiet. If you want action, this is not the place to stay. The great thing about Disney Resorts is that they work really hard to keep them fresh, and pretty much everything works the way it should do. The great thing about Disney Resorts is that they work really hard to keep them fresh, and pretty much everything works the way it should do. Old Key West is the very first Disney Vacation Club Resort, but it's still great. From this year though we have a really funny anecdote. We are calling it "the Great Crayola Crisis of 2019". When you eat with kids, pretty much anywhere these days, you'll likely get a kids menu with puzzles and drawings, just looking to be attacked with the small little pack of Crayola also provided. Well this year, one of these packs of crayons ended up in a child's pocket. These clothing items of course went to the laundry room next day. Being on holiday and a bit relaxed (or stressed) somebody forgot to check the pockets before washing - lets face it - we've all done it. Now this wouldn't have been a real problem as we would have just ended up with really clean crayons, however, being a vacation, all the clean laundry went into the dryer, and about 60 minutes later we had a full load of laundry with permanent, non-removable, multi-coloured, splotches all over - a bit like tie-dyed. Another frantic hour of trying to remove the colour, but in the end it just proved too much for us, and created a perfect excuse for some clothes shopping. Read less
