I recently got a 3 bedroom Villa in building #16. It’s was not booked as near hospitality but we were a 3 minute walk away. We did a split-stay this trip, started at Riviera and ended at Old Key West. The Villa had tons of space. Even with 11 people it was easy to spread out. Lack of elevators wasn’t a huge deal but a deal . We had elder folks and a stroller. Balcony was awesome. Huge table, could fit 6 people around it. It was fun watching people play golf. We got into our room late but the resort ended up giving us $250 as a comp. pretty much covered our food and drinks as we waited. Olivias is good. Nothing over the top, just good. The limited menu due to covid was felt. Nothing jumps out at your but the staff is good and so is the food quality. I had their beer cheese soup and crab cake, very good comfort food. Resort is very laid back. Obviously meant for longer stays and relaxation as opposed to running to parks. The pool was fun but no zero depth entry. Slide was a sand castle. It was fun, my boys (3 year old twins) love it. Water was very warm which was a must on a 63* day. We will come back to Old Key West but it will never be our first choice unless we are doing a adults only trip and we have a rent a car. Bus are the only resort transportation. They typically have boat access to Disney Springs but that wasn’t running. Seemed odd to me since the friendship boats are running. Also, they have two playgrounds but were closed. Was odd since Caribbean Beach’s was open. I’d love to know why the difference, no one seemed to know why. All in all it was an enjoyable stay but there is a reason why points at this resort are so affordable. If your looking to chill, lay back, drink a few beers or cocktails and enjoy quiet. This is your place. Don’t come here if your going to be running around to theme parks 5/7 days of your vacation. Read less

It's always just like being at home...We have everything we need! Our room is always immaculate when we arrive. I love having a washer and dryer (in all rooms except the studios) - We almost always have one afternoon/evening that we stay in - it's perfect for doing a quick load of laundry or just for drying our suits! The kitchen is equipped with everything we need - including coffee, sugar and creamers. Anything else we needed for food or snacks we either purchased at the shop or have delivered from a local grocer or Amazon grocery. Read less

The reasons we will not return are as follows: We had a room near the hospitality house, very close to everything but there are no elevators here and Disney's Magical Express no longer drops off your luggage. They honestly need at least a staff elevator to assist their staff with luggage transport. The other reason was the bus service. Buses MOSTLY arrived promptly; however, the number of stops just within this resort added so much time to being dropped off after a long day in the parks. It was honestly AWFUL. Read less

Had a full kitchen and laundry room. (I will say that lay out of condo had a lot of wasted space) our family really like how the TV was set up in living room. Our only complaint is there is one bathroom which located in the master bedroom. Wish it was a Jack n Jill type space to close off bedroom. The pool is very nice. Love the big sand castle water slide. Also, the hammocks close by. The cast members in the community center was very kind and polite. Had actives through out day. My daughter made a tie dye T-shirt. Also, the gifts shop is spacious. Has a very small section to buy little food. Guest service was also polite. It does not have very been quick serve area and it located outdoors. I only saw one in door restaurant, Olivia which need reservations. Food was very good. We did buy refill mugs(19.00). How it works with Covid guidelines is the staff fills a cup for you to pour in cup. All food was packaged to go at the quick serve. Disney is doing great with cleaning and disinfecting. Cast members were constantly whipping down door handles, and high touched areas. The bus system has five stops. We were on last stop which by Guest services. Took about 20 mins for all stop. Never had wait for a bus. The boats for Disney springs is not currently available. Read less

Traveling in December temperature wise is very comfortable very little humidity, temps in the mid 60’s upper 70’s. We stayed in the Turtle Pond Road area of the property near buildings 40 that are closed to the quiet pool. Due to current covid occupancy reductions the snack bar at this pool was closed. They do have a laundry room here for those who are staying in the deluxe studio rooms. There are bbq grills located at the Turtle pond pool. The pool is heated and is open from 7a- 11p. The Main pool at Hospitality House is open 10-10. We stayed in a very spacious 2 Bedroom villa that can sleep 9 . It has a wonderful full kitchen and nice outside patio that was accessible from the master bedroom and kitchen. The master bedroom had a comfortable king bed, larger dresser , spacious bathroom with shower and jetted soaker tub and closet with safe in the bathroom. The second bedroom and two Queen beds and a second bathroom with tub shower combo. A walk in closet and large dresser. There is a laundry room that connects to the master bathroom. This was ample space for our family to spread out. Beautiful views of the golf course and ponds. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping during this time is limited, they come in every couple days to collect trash and replace towels. They will come more often if you request. We did use a grocery service to have food in our room. Instacart with no issues. Disney does assess a delivery fee if bell services delivers the grocery to you room if 6$. There is several kids activities during the day some are free and others have a small fee. ( tie dyeing, sand art) they offer movies under the stars a few nights a week. Read less
