We love Disney and have been several times. I’ll try to make this review simple. Do not stay here with small children. 1. It’s far from everything. The bus rides take forever. 2. There are tremendous amounts of people with scooters. This takes a lot of time at bus stops and makes for a lot more time on the bus. 3. This place is huge.… Read more

There are tremendous amounts of people with scooters. This takes a lot of time at bus stops and makes for a lot more time on the bus. 3. This place is huge. There are 5 bus stops. With little kids, stay at a resort with one stop. 5 stops with scooters on and off eats considerable time. 4. As I previously stated, I’ve stayed at several Disney resorts. Our favorite is Wilderness Lodge. Simplify your trip by having easy access to the parks and Disney Springs. On that note, we wanted to stay at Congress Park but got placed at The Carousel. Either way, waking to Disney Springs is a hike. You might be able to do it in 20 min from Congress Park. From any other area, with small kids, forget it. Read less

We are DVC members and always stay at this property. While there are others (and we only stayed at the Boardwalk), we find this place to be friendly, convenient and has the best staff. The Artisan's Palette has great food too.

Villas are out of date but fine; property is beautiful. Unfortunately the managers have no interest in customer service and the attitude flows downhill. Just spent an hour trying to return from Hollywood Studios mid day which should be quick. Bus got to the property in about 5 minutes but they are repaving the main road in the resort. So he drives to every stop except Grandstand then asks if anyone is trying to get to Grandstand. Then tells me he can't get to Grandstand but will do me a favor and double back to Congress Park but "they will not let him double back any further"; however I can take another bus from there. Really? I'm guessing he spent too much time speaking with a guest at the Springs and getting out of the bus multiple times to check where she was headed. So I call the front desk and then guest services to try to find out if the buses will be coming to Grandstand later so I can go back to the park. They're not sure but they can have a manager call me (front desk). Or they are sure the buses are stopping at Grandstand now however when I ask why the original bus did not drop me off here, they will have a manager call me (guest services). Of course no manager called. Run don't walk to a property that understands it's all about customer service. Read less

Saratoga Springs is a super expansive place. Not dense or close to the central registration building. 5 sections where each one could be its own resort. It offers families looking for a place to relax, quiet without the park music always on, easy parking & without valet fees and not a mile away walk. No people/performer hustle bustle either. Disney Springs is near. A boat ride for most people but there’s a bridge entry by the Marketplace so figure a 2 mi walk for most of the SS buildings. Bus ride to Epcot/Hollywood Studies 15mins & MK & AK 25. All this is on the flat screen monitors at the bus stop + the My Disney app. The restaurants are buffet and sit-down table service and ok but with Disney Springs there you have many options. Each building (say 15+) are 4 stories with elevators. Appointments are good and with the mucho use are continually refreshed. Same bath accessories as other resorts. Bedding is fine which is nice after the many miles of walking you put in. Kitchen equipment is very basic but gets you by for your stay. We don’t crowd in the people the room has beds/pull outs for. No personal space is then. So forget the pullouts except if you have a large number of kids. Pools are around but they may not be right out your door and instead a short walk away. Didn’t see a lifeguard but there may be; but you be prepared. Each Disney Resort has pro & cons. List them down and you decide what’s important or wanted/needed by you for your trip. Read less

We are staying in the Congress bldg, in a newly remodeled room. The really knocked it out of the park with the selections. Top notch finishes, smart design with outlets and usb power outlets everywhere. Two 70 inch TVs give up to the minute park information. We don’t want to leave the room!
