Took 45 minutes to retrieve them. We were on a time table! Was going to stay neutral but then today we received a 250 fee for smoking and we never smoked in our room not would we. We smoked in designated smoking but a empty cigarette pack in garbage was the reason! This may be budget but they will rob you even if you follow the rules. Don’t stay here! Management doesn’t have a clue what is going on! Read less

Nothing worth mentioning, except for the printed room keys, these are a necessity for getting early acces to the parks. (And an easy souvenir). Starbucks in the lobby is absolutely extra, and very bad for my credit balance. Our room was spotless, light and felt new, new, new. We got an upgrade to poolside on a floor of our choice. Thus meaning the hotel wasn’t crowded. Though the hotel is super-new. The walls indeed are very thin. We could hear our next-door guests talking. We could even hear what channel their tv was on. It made me a little bit anxious for our night rest, but in the end, the chatter didn’t matter too much. Though; I fear for trouble when fully booked. The beds are good. We enjoyed our five-night stay. The property is clean and shops, restaurants and even a mall is just around the corner. The pool is clean and there’s towelservice. Thin and small towels though, but the service is offered and I think that’s great. The Universal shuttles are fantastic. The busses run every ten minutes or so, the drivers are very kind. Universals parks and city walk are located about a mile from the hotel. Benefits of this hotel: one hour early acces to Volcano Bay: gave us a lot of time to explore the park before regular opening. And one hour early acces to The Wizzarding Word of Harry Potter at Universal Studio’s: no lines whatsoever. The issued room keys must be presented for early acces. We would definitely choose an on-site official hotel again. And for Surfside inn; the price was just about right. Read less

Chose this resort because it was new, big mistake! The lobby was huge and unimpressive. Employees at desk were not very helpful or friendly. We did have one young , blonde female (wish I had a name) that was great. The cafe was ok, gift shop was nice. From here it goes down hill. Pool area and pool were ok but nothing special. We did have one young , blonde female (wish I had a name) that was great. The cafe was ok, gift shop was nice. From here it goes down hill. Pool area and pool were ok but nothing special. No hot tub?? There were two laundry rooms, each with three rather smaller washers and dryer costing $3.50 each, for hundreds of residents? We waited over three hours to wash a load and it was two in morning by the time finished drying. Not family friendly! Now the room! Absolutely no place to put anything! No dressers, no shelves and no actual end/bed tables unless you consider a board roughly 3 x 5 a night stand. There were three small drawers in living room ( why not to ceiling?) There were a row of little colored hooks maybe 3 feet of ground to hang maybe doll clothes on but even most of those were missing! Ironically we were asked to go green and reuse towels, to please hang? Hang were? No towel racks or hooks and there was a close line apparatus in shower but had no string (was not fixed in a week). The towels were rag quality, Dollar store ones would have been better. Beds were ok but bottom sheets stopped six inches above bottom of bed and your feet were on the mattress cover where how many other people’s feet rested? The kitchenette did have a mini frig but again one shelf. No storage. This is a New Resort? Not comfortably family friendly unless you like living in a chaotic mess. Very disappointing. Read less

Stayed at Endless Summer Surfside and felt it was a good value for the money. It was a less busy time (Monday-Tuesday), so we didn't experience any of the noise issues some have mentioned. What sounds we did hear were comparable to the sound transfer seen in modern apartments, which if you're not used to can seem intrusive. The room was clean and I found the beds/pillows comfortable, though I agree that the linens and towels were 'walmart cheapie' quality in terms of thickness and scratchiness. These are issues I consider minor considering it was still half the price of Cabana Bay (where we usually stay) for the same dates. The pool area was well kept and the common areas were clean. My only disappointment was the little grill cafe. I was expecting something similar to Cabana Bay's Bayliner Diner but scaled down. The one at Endless Summer Surfside was unappealing to me and the grab and go items were very much priced for convenience. That said, there are dozens of places around the area to eat ranging from fast food to sit down service family restaurants as well as a Walgreens around the corner. As we were spending most of our time at Universal Studios, we just planned ahead after the first night and either ate at the park or at one of the City Walk spots before taking the shuttle back to the hotel. Similar to Cabana Bay, this location offers a Starbucks, heated pool, small gaming room, pool side bar, and a small fitness center. It also offers shuttle buses to Universal/Citywalk that leave about every 15-20 minutes, and early park admission to Diagon Alley/Universal. I would definitely stay here again, as the money saved by staying here vs the other locations gives me more to spend at the parks themselves, and we're really only at the hotel to sleep! *I had reserved a standard room but we received a complementary upgrade to a suite when we checked in. The '2 room' suite featured 3 queen beds, one of which was in its own room with a second TV. The other 2 are in the main area same as a standard room would have. It also included a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Read less

We just returned from our stay at Endless Summer Resort. This was our first stay in this hotel as we usually stay at Cabana Bay. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. The rooms were clean, towels replaced every day, beds very comfortable & the shower was always hot! The walls did not seem thin to us (maybe we got lucky with no noisy neighbors) but we were so tired from all the walking at the parks, we all slept like rocks each night. We never waited for a bus to take us to the parks & it was pretty nice to have the return bus right at the bottom of the escalator to go back! The pool was so nice, we ordered some drinks & food at the pool bar. Chuck the bartender was so friendly & nice to talk to. He knew alot about the area & the parks. If you are looking to save a little money on your vacation, you can't go wrong with staying at the Endless Summer Resort. Read less
