Velavaru Two-Bedroom Pool Villas have 1 king size bed in one hut and the other a living room that can be converted into a king size bedroom. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults.

A place to go for a relaxing holiday. Diving, snorkling, eating (too much). A super destination for a relaxing holiday.

5 out of 5 Top accomodation and super friendly staff. Ajija in the restaurant really took care of us and made us feel at home. The overwater villas with pool was superb, very private and a great spot for shark and stingray watching. We can highly reccomend the resort.

The best experience of my life with DiveVelevaru

My recent trip to Angsana Velevaru in the Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the beautiful nature and the warm and hospitable staff. I will never forget the moment I saw the mesmerising colour of the ocean and the white sandy beaches for the first time. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the divevelevaru team, especially Sylvia. As someone who was fairly new to diving, I was trepid with excitement and nerves, however Sylvia was incredibly patient, professional and supportive throughout the entire experience. Divevelevaru’s passion for the ocean, namely Adlan and Izuan the marine biologists there at Angsana Velevaru, was the reason why my family and I chose to visit this paradise in the Maldives, and it didn’t disappoint!! We attended a couple of talks led by Adlan and Izuan, offering insight into the climate and its threats to the Maldives, as well as conservation methods and in-depth talks about the beautiful wildlife that is home to the Maldives, such as Manta Rays, Sharks and Whale Sharks. Their passion for the ocean was contagious, Sylvia went above and beyond to ensure I not only completed my PADI, but also fell in love with the underwater world; which I did so much so, after completing my PADI dives I booked a recreational dive just to experience more of their wonderful underwater world. The diving experiences were beyond anything I could have imagined. The crystal clear waters on the islands house reef were home to some of the most breathtaking marine life I have ever seen. I remember my favourite dive site was mahi corner, where Sylvia and I saw 5 eagle rays swimming in a pod together, 3 white-tip reef sharks and this inquisitive turtle that came and interacted with us for 10 minutes, which was the most amazing experience. Schools of vibrant fish swimming in and around the corals never got old and the sheer quantity of fish and the amount of different species was breathtaking. Every single dive felt similiar but yet a different part of the hidden paradise the Maldives has to offer, I could have dived 1000 times and still not got bored of the beautiful scenery and I couldn’t recommend the DiveVelevaru team and Sylvia enough as she made my once-in-a lifetime experience unforgettable!! I also want to thank Izuan and Adlan for sharing their knowledge and being patient to answer all my family’s questions, as there was a lot😅. I’d strongly recommend anyone considering Velevaru as their holiday destination to take part in the marine biologists free talks, reef clean-ups and coral planting sessions as now I understand how much it would mean to them. They are the most amazing, kind and sincere people; their passion for the oceans and their conservation efforts were the main reason my family chose to visit here as I mentioned earlier and they succeeded their expectations massively. It was with a heavy heart, our departure date had come, and I want to thank Sylvia, Adlan, Izuan, Ahmed and everyone else at the DiveVelevaru team for one of the most memorable experiences in my life. Great birthday experience - staff made the week very special

We had an amazing trip celebrating my wifes birthday. Nasru looked after our villa making beautiful bed art, a suprise bath run with flowers, and excellent servicing of villa twice a day. Sylvia at the marine centre took us snorkling where we saw turtles and on a trip to swim with a whale shark where we also saw rays and dolphins. She made the experience incredible with her expertise in waters congested with tourists from other resorts. Adhesh provided us with great friendly service at the hotel bar every day where the team also put on a couple of out door movie nights with popcorn which was fun. And last but not least Ajija provided us with excellent service every day, beautoful table settings for my wifes birthday and our last dinner.
