Oceans Restaurant serves International, Asian and daily themed buffets while Al Khaimah features an authentic Bedouin tent with Middle Eastern-style grilled meats to feast on and Arabic delights. Alternatively, dine Italian style at La Brezza or on Thai fare at Suan Bua, two speciality restaurants that overlook the beachfront pool. WOW! where do I start...We travel quite often and this holiday was up there in our top 5. We spent 4 nights at this all inclusive paradise and found it really hard to leave. The whole Team on the Island were fantastic, from line staff all the way to the top, friendly, efficient and always willing to accommodate. If I could have remembered all the names I would name them all for their excellent service. I also can't commend the team highly enough for their personal hygiene, in that heat they were always fresh and well presented, it really gave us confidence on the hygienic practices that went on back of house. In regards to hygiene there was hand sanitiser available everywhere and they even made sure we cleaned our hands on entry to the restaurants, we really felt safe. Our temperature was checked on entry and exit and sometimes randomly, they certainly took all the precautions during this uncertain time. The place itself is very clean and well maintained. The views and colours of the water were amazing, you could even snorkel directly out the front of our room and see plenty of reef fish. The quality and variety of food and beverage far exceeded my expectations, I felt at times that if I could only fit a little more in I could have tried everything they had on offer. The minibar was stocked daily, they also had a wide range of drinks at the bars and restaurants, including some great wines and cocktails, which were all part of the All Inclusive. Each night the menu would change so you were never stuck for choice, and the variety was amazing. The variety of breads and pastries were impressive too, catering for all tastes. A huge thank you to all the team for such a memorable holiday, we wish you all the best in this difficult time, as soon as we have the chance to return we will. Read less

My Husband and I had the most amazing time at Centara Ras Fushi. General Manager Prapaijit Thongma and her staff made us feel like royalty. From the welcome to our departure all the staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. Our villa on stilts was lovely and we appreciated the special extras celebrating our anniversary, like for example, the messages made from flowers and stalks on our bed. The snorkelling is incredible. Unfortunately we were only there for 3 full days so didn't have time for trips or using some of the complimentary non-motorised water sports. We loved the Viu bar with the pond in the middle and canapés at sunset. And don't miss the Cuban band which is excellent. Make sure to book ahead for your dinner at either the Thai or Italian restaurant. Some other tips: you can pretty much walk out from the villas on stilts to the rope and hang on to the rope where the water gets deeper and dark blue and see the marine life. It's truly like being in an aquarium! If you don't snorkel don't miss feeding the fish at 5pm each night near Viu. We hope to visit again, thank you for our special holiday. Read less

Hi, we have just returned from 7 days in Centara Ras Fushi. Before we went I relied massively on the reviews on TripAdvisor so I will try my best to go through everything. We went on this trip for my boyfriends 30th birthday and it was also the trip we got engaged on so it was lovely for these special occasions to be had in this beautiful place. We stayed in the over water villa (room 313) and we were on the all inclusive plan. The resort is stunning!! Exactly like the photos and the scenery is breathtaking, we tried not to bring our phones out much but we had to for things like sunset etc as you couldn't not capture the moment. The all inclusive plan is more than enough! Oceans is a buffet style restaurant but the food is amazing, fresh pastries, different cuisines, fresh bread, fruit, salad, you name it they had it! freshly made eggs in the morning, fresh pasta at lunch and we really liked the Latin themed dinner. You wont be disappointed with the food here. In the Italian and Thai restaurant's A.L has a set menu, more than enough to choose from, we ate at these places twice, this includes a starter, main and desert. I would also highly recommend the Arabic restaurant, A.L gets $40 credit per person however the food is worth paying for, its beautiful. I think our bill for this dinner which was 3 courses came to $78 (it was something like $160 but take away the $80 credit) but we really enjoyed our meal here.Obviously on A.L some things aren't included however there is not much difference between regular all inclusive or gold. If there is something you really want that's not included on the plan, you can still order it and just charge it to your room. Everything is cashless. At the end of each meal you sign a receipt and you can add a tip if you wish, but do bring cash if you want to tip your room attendants etc as we didn't have cash and it was a bit awkward, we did however tip and pay by card on checkout. Once your checking out you can pay your final bill but we went down twice to pay before check out to keep us on track with money. Our travel agent had covered our taxes for check out but ensure to remember there is that added charge at the end. The spa is ridiculously overpriced, we didn't go here. Instead defiantly spend your money on the Dolphin excursion, it is $300 (including taxes) for two people and was well worth it! We got a speed boat to the middle of the ocean and could see the Dolphins swimming and jumping, then we put on our snorkelling gear and got into the ocean whilst they swam around us and beside us, incredible experience! Huge shout out to Dinish in the Vieu Bar, a true gentleman! He made the effort to have happy birthday sung to my (ehm) fiancé :-) and we never had to ask for a drink he knew our order and kept them coming, fantastic service!! The resort also holds different entertainment each night, whilst we were there they held a cocktail night to mingle with the staff, this was very nice to get to know everyone and they had a cocktail competition, also they had two movie nights where they showed a Star is Born and the Greatest Showman, two excellent choices! :-) In relation to the resort itself and how it works, the bars close at 11pm, which was fine for us because we woke early and would be out from 6/7pm so we didn't mind going back to our room at 11pm. They defiantly need a small supermarket or shop as the one shop on the island is very expensive, it was almost $20 for a 100ml of sun cream! Also once dinner ends at 10pm you might find yourself hungry in the nights but the pringles in the room doesn't always do it. The minibar is topped up every day. Carlsberg is the only alcohol added to it, which we didn't drink. The room attendant Shohel did notice we drank a lot of water however so he left us an extra bottle which we really appreciated. In room dining can be expensive, we ordered prosecco to our room on two occasions (our engagement and the birthday) which was $70 each time. The rooms are lovely however and the wifi is great (we were able to stream netflix) and I 100% recommend you take advantage of the free snorkling gear and go exploring, its amazing. Although some things on the island can be very expensive it made no difference to our time there, we loved every minute. The staff are wonderful people who cannot do enough for you, you are treated like royalty and everyone is always so polite. Lastly, just to address bin island. Some of the comments on this massively exaggerate this island. We seen it when out on the speed boat but honestly it is not as bad as people have said. The only place you can really see it from is the bar at reception, so if you're that bothered, don't go here during the day but I do recommend you visit that bar in the evening to see the lights of Malé and watch the planes come in, its lovely. The only thing I thought was a bit of an eye sore was a large ship on the water near the vieu bar, again though it wasn't that big of an issue. The vieu bar is a fantastic place to watch the sunset, it is incredible! Such a fantastic trip, I would highly recommend Centara to anyone thinking of going to the Maldives. Read less
