The hotel

The adult-only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa offers a truly serene atmosphere in idyllic island surrounds. Beach Villas and Water Villas are scattered around the island, allowing for peace and tranquility aplenty. Upgrade to a Overwater Villa with Swirl Pool and you’ll have your own private outdoor spa bathtub. Down at the beach is an oceanfront pool and well-being area, aptly named as you’ll feel very well indeed here. You can also spoil yourself to a treatment or two at the Spa Cenvaree, a blissful sanctuary offering Thai massage as well as ancient Ayurvedic treatments to banish any lingering cares. With the resort in such a great location there's a plethora of stunning scuba diving sites, amongst the Maldives’ most sought-after spots, reached within 20 minutes by dhoni. There’s also snorkelling and both non-motorised and motorised water sports to tempt you. Island dining is a treat at the Centara with several superb restaurants to choose from. Oceans Restaurant serves International, Asian and daily themed buffets while Al Khaimah features an authentic Bedouin tent with Middle Eastern-style grilled meats to feast on and Arabic delights. Alternatively, dine Italian style at La Brezza or on Thai fare at Suan Bua, two speciality restaurants that overlook the beachfront pool. Overwater Viu Bar is one of the highlights of the resort and deservedly so, its circular shape and oversized hammock seating affording unobstructed ocean views. There’s also a very popular pool bar to while away an hour or two, sipping on exotic cocktails.

If they closed it around 7pm or 8pm I would give definitely 5 stars. Read less

1. All inclusive doesn’t mean all inclusive here. I can’t have a mimosa with my breakfast bc free drinks aren’t until 11. You have to pay outrageous prices to have any meals delivered to your villa. We didn’t eat lunch so after dinner at one of the restaurants we were still hungry so we decided to head over to the buffet and were denied bc we already ate dinner. 2. The drinks are terrible. I haven’t had one that I like yet. My husband’s Mocktails are better. 3. The bungalows are fine but upon arrival our sink was not draining properly. They did send someone to fix it promptly. There are tiny little ants all over the place, there is no where to put our clothes. no dresser. There is a hanging space but not enough hangers. There is no iron in the room. 4. I can’t take my drink from point A to point B. Meaning if i do have one of thier terrible drinks in a restaurant … I can’t walk to my room with it or to the pool. Bc they don’t have ‘to go’ cups. What do you mean? it’s a resort? 5. The pool closes at 6 pm. Why? I’m on my honey moon and if my husband and I want to get in the pool at 9 pm we can’t? Literally WHY? 6. Thier social media page is very professionally meticulously well done you would think this place was brand new but the whole resort needs upkeep. The bungalows could use a refurb. Our deck is coming apart in certain areas and the resort just looks old and run down. 7. The views are horrid bc of nearby construction on near by islands I guess, oil tankers in the way. While that is not in the resorts control just be aware of it. If you want to look out at serene ocean surrounding you, you won’t get it here. 8. I am extremely underwhelmed. Our first trip to the Maldives, on our honey moon With all the money we spent to come here I was expecting better. It’s sub par to say the least. I really don’t understand all of the amazing reviews. I’m literally mindblown. Im here now and ready to go home. I wouldn’t come here again if you paid me. The good things - 1. The spa. Amazing. We did a couples massage and will go back for another before we leave. 2. The people - The staff is very pleasant. 3. The food. Some of it. It’s actually hit or miss. But overall on the side of better than not. Read less

Especially mention to Liane and Nabeel in the front desk, Noom in the massage was super. In oceans Mama is a personage with a great smile and awesome service. In the bars Hathish Mateh and Abhi were great and one more that I can’t remember. Room service was great with Shohel taking care of every detail and cleaning and replenishing us with every need. For the servers Nadia was excellent and taking care of every detail. For the restaurants Al Khaimah was so good that we went 4 nights in a row. Definitely worth every penny and the friends that we meet made for great memories Read less

Spent 10 nights at this Hotel on Gold AI package, I feel this a must as lots of different things can be at an added cost. Stayed in a beach bungalow which was small but adequate, bathroom toilet is all open, nice shower and plenty of clean towels including beach towels, bungalows are all joined together and the first block was the best position to be. This hotel has the best staff you could wish for all extremely friendly and helpful, ate in all restaurants and food and drink was excellent, Entertainment was good fun in Lobby bar with once again brilliant staff. Now I will get to the most important thing, Hotel pictures on web sites are sadly now not correct If you have never been to the Maldives before then the position of this Hotel Atoll will only be disappointing if you have been before then it is devastating. Boat trip from Male is dodging ships drilling and moving sand to construct what I believed to be some kind of oil or gas installation, this is horrific and can all be seen from every view from the hotel especially at night which is all flashing lights, trucks and ships Hotel offers snorkelling trips along with diving, sadly didn't go because all the marine life and coral appear to have gone around the atoll, hardly a fish to be seen, devastating destruction. Payed a lot of money to be so disappointed. Read less
