The swimming pools are amazing , there is a pool for everyones needs. The Sri Lankan band who play in the afternoon & evening are amazing playing music from all era's. The kids club team are absolutely superb and are naturally gifted in what they do, can't praise them enough Samu, Anna & Layley. Overall the island caters for everyone from bars, pizzeria and the coffee shop gives Starbucks &Costa a run for its money with friendly staff there too especially Lana whom makes a good Gingerbread latte/Americano in which she greets you like your a every day customer, amazing. The whole team there really know how to give you a good holiday. Would soooooo love to go back again. Read less

Villa was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The island itself is well maintained, spotless everywhere. We spent time at the pool as well as the villa as it was a bit cooler by the pool. Great vibe with a couple of hours music by DJ Kesh over lunchtime. Our favourite restaurant was Faru and many thanks to Vera and Laamiu for making our visits special. Food was spectacular here. We enjoyed the food in all the restaurants and dined around the al la cartes during our 7 night stay. Coffee shop is a nice touch for a coffee and cake during the day. Lunch in the buffet was varied and good quality. We spent most evenings in haali bar as it’s close to the villa. I can’t remember the names of the 2 barmen but they made us feel very welcome! The friendliness of the staff is a credit to this island, a hello from everyone whatever they were doing. Thanks to our housekeeper for keeping the villa lovely. Dolphin cruise was a highlight of our stay, brilliant to see dolphins in their natural habitat. This was our first visit to the Maldives and it didn’t disappoint, everything was just perfect. I can’t recommend Dhigali enough it is absolute paradise. I hope we get a chance to return someday. Read less

I will review my stay, but first off I must warn people not to make the mistake we made by booking early. We booked in March - I checked the prices a few weeks before we travelled and the same stay was USD 2000 less!! I spoke to the manager about this during my stay - his response being 'I will make a note'. Staff informed us they never run at full capacity so wait for late offers or you will pay way over the odds. The Island is beautiful, but not quite 5 star. We had a lovely time - the staff were amazing, everyone of them friendly and helpful. If you're into snorkeling then you will love it here. The house reef is the best I've seen - we swam with turtles, sharks, rays and so much more. We stayed in the beach bungalow and water villa. Both were lovely, housekeeping were excellent, minibar was well stocked. My only issue with the water villa was music from East bar was banging until midnight so did keep me awake. Restaurants generally good - food was of a high standard. Speciality restaurants must be booked in advance. We did this, but many didn't and were complaining they couldn't get booked in. Battuta and Jade were very good - Faru wasn't great. Capers is very good, but food does get a bit repetitive. Both East bar and Haali had a lovely atmosphere. Staff in both bars were lovely and very attentive, but the cocktails weren't great. As I say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but I have been to other Maldivian resorts and would return to them, or try a new one as oppose to coming back to Dhigali. Read less

Can definitely say this “premium all inclusive” concept at Dhigali is a winner, recommended. Everyone is equal, one package. It includes all you could want from a holiday, champagne is included. Christian the GM and his team work very hard to make everything just right for their guests. Staff throughout resort are excellent. Very easy to chill out and relax on this tiny island. There is a sunset beach bar Halli, which is very chilled, DJ and live saxophonist. A 4piece group too, so daily live music around the beach or pool, alternating. The beaches are stunning, pool area very nice. Three restaurants as well as the traditional buffet restaurant, and for us the stand out was Jade, asian/fusion, really good. Batuta also good, indian. Sadly Faru was a disappointment for us. Booking restaurants in advance essential, we did not, so struggled to get into where we wanted and could only ever get 9pm, on arrival they were not full so it was a little frustrating at times. Perhaps a larger gym would be good, any more than four and it feels a bit tight. We were in a water villa which was good, snorkelling off your own little terrace is a great experience. However so sad to see all the surrounding coral totally bleached, what are we doing to nature, all forms of nature, all over land & sea 👎🏻. My only minor negative comment for Dhegali (they will not be the only ones I’m sure) why even have jet skis to hire ! Should be banned in the Maldives. Housekeeping really great. I was sure I’d read there was a Nespresso machine/pods in room, it is a kettle and tea/coffee which is fine and replenished, this is not a problem as there is a great little cafe in the centre, great coffees/shakes/cakes & sandwiches, popular little place. Plenty of bottled water provided in room too. Mini bar replenished daily, all inclusive. Very Easy to recommend Dhigali 👍🏻 Read less

Unbelievable Island, fantastic staff and amazing facilities. We visited here for our honeymoon and had the best time. This is our 3rd trip to the Maldives now having stayed at Sengeli & Jawakara previously. I have to say, we came to the conclusion that this is our new favourite. A massive thanks to all staff for making our trip so special.
