We came to stay with Jumeriah for the 4th time and we love it more each time. Food, rooms, service and everything in between are stellar. The new luxury speed boat sets an entirely new standard in the Maldives and we wouldn't want our transfer any other way.

The first thing I want to praise about Jumeirah Olhahali is their butler service. Out of all the 5 stars resorts with butler service that my wife and I have ever experienced, Stephanie in Jumeirah Olhahali topped our chart! Stephanie is very organised and a really good communicator. She took great care of us and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived till the last second we depart! Aziz is another butler that we would like to praise about. Although he wasn’t our butler, he was always very polite and friendly and would check on us and offer help whenever he saw us. We met him 3 times in 3 different Maldives resorts in the past and would certainly love to see him for the 4th time in the future. My wife and I met Brian (F & B) during the Management Cocktail Party. We shared with him some feedbacks regarding dining. We appreciate his positive attitudes, in particular in arranging our perfect dinner in the Shimmers restaurant that night! Most of the staffs in all 3 restaurants were cheerful and helpful, with Ibbe (Shimmers restaurant) being one of the best waiters in Jumeirah Olhahali. Although we only dined in the Shimmers restaurant once during our whole week of holiday, I have to say that his service was most memorable. The reason why we dined in Shimmers restaurant only once during our whole week of holiday was because Taylor (executive chef) made the Glow restaurant so irresistible! In the beginning we had some issues with the Glow restaurant and Kayto restaurant but after talking to Taylor (who came to meet us by the poolside) regarding our preferences, she made some adjustments specifically for us. Then we just loved all the dishes she and her team made in the Glow restaurant from the 4th day onward. We are very grateful for her time and effort in listening to us and her professionalism! Apart from the above mentioned staffs who made our holiday extra special, I would also like to thank the following staffs who went the extra mile to make our holiday extra memorable: Idhrees (house keeping) Laada (message therapist) Mihadh (photographer) Nazeer and Wajeeh (garden walk) Tatiana and her Italian colleague (spa) I would say that this resort is quite good for a relatively easy snorkel from water/beach villa to the reef drop (around 300 metres from the shore on average). My wife and I love doing exercise so everyday we swam from our villa to the Sunrise Deck, then snorkelled against the current along the reef drop from the Sunrise Deck to the spa area then drift back to the Sunrise Deck, then swam back to our villa. There was an abundance of fish to see so snorkelling lovers would have a good time here! For people that don’t like to swim/snorkel that much then I would recommend using the hotel’s semi-submarine (just like those submarines in UK’s Windsor Legoland but with engine) to explore along the reef drop instead. It’s fun either way! Read less

The staff, especially our island host (Soukaina) was just a click away and indispensable throughout the trip. They were on point in catering to my wife’s dietary requirements (Gluten and dairy free).
