Hello all ! Spending last hour”s of our relaxing holiday here at wonderfull Kurumba Maldives. Our first visit here at Kurumba Maldives was like 15 yers ago and they are still going really strong 💪 We are stying at deluxe pool villa whit direct beach access. Our villa like all other beach pool villas are located on the island where you can see the city (Hulhumale i think) grow, kind of nice but mayby the view from your villa is not ”Maldivian view” what you maid expect to have. Beach and house reef just steps away from villa are the best ever! Okey, mayby the house reef is not best ever but you can still see huge amount of colorfull fishes, turtles, sharks (friendly ones) and you name it. Actually resort is doing their best to make reef live again and just outside of villa 208 you can see result all ready in the form of coral garden. Good job! Beach is just perfect, cannot say anything else, just perfect! Villa whit privat pool is quit large accualy, whit bedroom, separate livingroom, big bathroom and outside space as well where the pool, gabana and outside shower is located. Really nice setup accualy. Cleanliness of the villas in really really good level, staff is doing nice job whit them. Fresh still water available everyday enough for your needs. Beach towels and normal towels as many as you prefer, staff will take care about it, just talk whit them. Resort is also having nice gym, tennis and even football possibilities if you prefer. We didnt test them but i believe they are as good as they have allways been. Food options you have available as many as you need, like Thai, Arabian, Sushi, Seefood you name it. Speacialy the seefood is really really good! I think they could focus more on certaing thing and leeve out part of the food selection. I would recommend strongly Kurumba Maldives for your Maldivian vacation destination. Really easy to reach from the airport by speedboat, only 15minutes away. Good thing as well is that speed boat operates all day along, like in our case boat is departing from the island 22:30. See you Kurumba Maldives next time! Read less

It was 2004 when we visited Kurimba Maldives for the first time. Now, 20 years later, we were back again, this time with our kids. We wanted to share our fantastic memories with them and it pleases us to state that we relived that memorable experience once again. The island is wonderfully well kept with beautiful gardens, the cleanest and prettiest beach ever seen and nothing less than a stunning house reef that will make you feel like you're in Finding Nemo. With the complimentary snorkel sets, we went snorkelling a couple of times a day and we discovered that just outside the rock barriers, there was a complete fish encyclopedia to be seen, including white tip and black tip reef sharks, octopuses and even a group of dolphins passing by. Although July is supposed to be off-season, we were fortunate to have beautiful weather conditions. It was our own mistake not to check the weather conditions before booking but still the weather was beyond expectation. We were staying in a garden pool villa with a nice plunge pool. Although it is supposed to be fit for a 4-person family, we would not recommend to stay in it with 2 nearly grown up teens. The villa is nice though with a lot of space and good facilities. The cupboards could use a little more shelves and storage possibilities. The master bed is comfortable, the villa was kept very clean and fresh (beach)towels were provided every day. Veli Spa is a delightful place to be and the experience is truly worth the expense. We booked half-board and had breakfast and diner in the Vihamanaa buffet restaurant. It offers a good choice for everyone and everything is fresh and tasty. Our special thanks go out to mr. Amjad and mr. Mamesh who took care of all our needs and made us feel welcome and comfortable. ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ޝުކުރިއްޔާ We highly recommend Kurumba Maldives and if we are given the chance, we will be back one day! My husband and I stayed stayed for 2 days on both the front end and the back end of our second trip to the Maldives. This marked our second and third times staying at Kurumba. Due to our long journey, a night at Kurumba was fantastic before transferring to Dusit Thani Maldives. We booked a Superior Room for our one night stay which included breakfast. The room was spacious and led right to the beach. We like the fact that every room is assigned two beach chairs with the room numbers on it. On the tail end of our trip, we stayed at Kurumba for another two days following our stay at Dusit Thani and before heading home to Los Angeles. We did the Sunset Dolphin Cruise which exceeded our expectations. My husband was a bit lukewarm about doing the sunset cruise but thought we might see a nice sunset. However, to our pleasant surprise, we ended up seeing over 50 dolphins in the water. The boat captain and the crew did a fantastic job in tracking down and following the dolphins. The dolphins were very playful and jumped and frolicked in front of us. The crew made noises and pounded on the floor of the boat to get the dolphin's attention. They also made a big effort to point out the dolphins to the guests and offered to take photos of everyone. Big shout out to the Sunset Cruise staff on July 6, 2024. We are avid snorkelers and a top notch house reef was essential for us. This time, the water visibility in the house reef was not as clear as it was in November of 2023 but we did still manage to see a lot of fish, a turtle, 21 sharks, and a spotted ray. We took a lot of great photos. We dined at Thila, the seafood restaurant, twice for dinner and had the Seafood Platter both times. The platter came with two huge lobsters, prawns, reef fish, salmon, clams, mussels, calamari, potatoes (best we've had), and a small salad. With a glass of wine (no room for dessert), our bill was about $180 USD which we thought was more than reasonable. We also dined at the Middle Eastern restaurant, El Qasr, for dinner and enjoyed it. We ordered a seafood and a meat platter which were fabulous. Dinner with a few cocktails was about $200 USD, again quite reasonable. We also had lunch at the outdoor cafe restaurant twice on an ala carte basis. Lunch was about $80 USD for two lunch entrees and two cocktails which we thought was reasonable for the destination (and the fact that the cost for dining was comparable to what we pay in Los Angeles). The Superior Room was nicely furnished with an outdoor shower and bathroom, day bed/sofa in the bedroom in addition to the bed, a double closet, and two sinks opposite from each other. We booked the package directly with the resort which included a 30-minute photo shoot. The last time we were here in November 2023, we were unable to schedule our complimentary photo shoot. We were able to schedule our photo shoot this time and were pleased. The staff quickly got us to the photo studio as our transfer to Kurumba took a little longer than expected. I would have loved to change and freshen up before the shoot, but we went with the flow and did it, as is (my husband is his Bali tanktop and all). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Kurumba again. We would definitely recommend Kurumba. Read less
