Niyama’s twin islands offer up the luxury of choice, from chic serenity on the isle of Chill to the adrenaline and excitement on the isle of Play — or a combination of both as your mood dictates! The resort serves up one of the best dining scenes in the Maldives with no less than seven restaurants, including four unique options: Nest is a one-of-a-kind dining concept in the Maldives featuring four cuisines of Asia, including Teppanyaki, Thai, Chinese and Indonesian; Tribal offers a uniquely authentic cultural experience of African, Central and South American tribal cuisines; Edge provides exclusive overwater dining, accessible by boat, featuring delicate Indian Ocean flavours and fresh local seafood; and, below Edge, Subsix Underwater Playground is hidden out in the ocean and six metres below the waterline. Where is it

One destination across two linked islands in the South Western Atoll of Dhaalu in the Maldives. Transfer time for Malé International Airport: 45 minutes by seaplane. Please note: seaplane transfers to/from your resort will only operate in daylight hours. Please ensure your international flights into and out of Malé allow for this schedule. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks in the Niyama lounge at the seaplane terminal.

Beach Villas have direct beach access with sunrise views, open-air bathroom and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. 


Half Board option: Includes breakfast and dinner at Epicure or BLU restaurants (with the exception of special dinners, lobster and seafood platters). Guests dining à la carte in Nest, Tribal or Edge for dinner or destination dining (not applicable to free Half Board upgrades) enjoy $95 net food credit per adult.

Full Board option: Includes breakfast at Epicure, lunch at Epicure, Dune and The Deli and dinner at Epicure or BLU restaurants (with the exception of special dinners, lobster and seafood platters). Guests dining à la carte in Tribal, Edge, Dune, Nest, Subsix or destination dining enjoy $40 net food credit for lunch and $95 net food credit for dinner.

Please note: Drinks are not included in Half Board and Full Board options. Children under 12 years receive 3 complimentary meals a day from the children's menu and buffet. If dining from à la carte, 50% discount off adult price applies. Half Board and Full Board not available 24 Dec or 31 Dec, however lunch (optional) may be booked.

Beach Pool Villas have direct beach access with sunrise views, private pool, open-air bathroom and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Deluxe Beach Pool Villas have direct beach access with sunset views, private pool, open-air bathroom and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.

Over Water Pool Villas have a private infinity pool and stairs leading from the private deck straight into the lagoon, with 1 king-size bed sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Deluxe Over Water Pool Villas are more spacious over-water studios, with the addition of a Jacuzzi as well as private pool, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Family Beach Pool Villas have an indoor/outdoor floor plan, living area with sofa bed, direct beach access, sunrise views and a private 'family sized' plunge pool, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

Deluxe Family Beach Pool Villas have an indoor/outdoor floor plan, living area with sofa bed, direct beach access, sunset views and a private 'family sized' plunge pool, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child.

A range of 1-3 bedroom pavilions are also available, all with sunset views, direct beach or lagoon access and private infinity pools with jacuzzi.

Wonderful experience, made as comfortable, easy and enjoyable for us as possible from the moment we landed in Male. Seaplane ride there and back smooth and enjoyable. We also have to mention the staff at kids club who took such amazing care of our daughter, she really was sad to leave and made lots of other little friends. Facilities at the Island also great, and swimming amongst the coral and fishes was an incredible experience. Our over water villa rooms were incredible as well, definitely recommend a visit to Niyami Private Islands! Read less

Always on time to pick us to and from. Although we had our own personalised bikes. Shanun was always available to pick us up in the buggy. The island has a lot of choices of restaurants. Our favourite was Nest. Overall I highly recommend it. The island has a variety of activities to do. you will never be bored and a vast amount of restaurants. All family friendly as well. We had such a wonderful time at Niyama. The resort is amazingly beautiful, the surrounding is awesome and nature seems like paradise. We have been in many different places and wonderful hotels so far, but the service here was outstanding and unique. Our Thakuru Shanun made everything possible. He made our restaurant reservations, booked spa appointments and surfing lessons, organized a movie night at the beach and under the stars, a sundowner at the Edge (a restaurant in the middle of the sea) and took care of everything. It seemed that every wish was anticipated. Shanun was very friendly and caring, as were his colleagues. We had a wonderful family time at Niyama: always barefoot, riding our personalized bicycles, walking along the two interlinked islands, snorkeling directly in front of our villa, swimming and just relaxing. Our villa was located directly at the beach, it had a private pool and a great outdoor bathroom. We loved having a shower under the palms. Everything was super clean, comfortable and beautiful. The housekeeping was almost invisible and so caring. They surprised us every single day. And so did our Thakuru Shanun. The food in the different restaurants was delicious. Eating high up in the trees or with sandy feet was a special experience. Our kids liked the many different activities provided by the kids club - they created their own mocktails, visited the underwater restaurant and made a dolphin trip. So, we hade an amazing time and all of us loved it. Thank you so very much, Shanun und Niyama for making our holiday so very special. Read less

We spent over week at the resort and had plenty of activities to choose from and did many from deep sea fishing to Manta ray and whale shark swimming. Without exception, we had wonderful experiences. Staff that made our vacation epic were Ammi and Zaid from guest services and “Coco Loco” aka Imran, the coconut man. We will return :) Read less
