Beach Villas are 81m² standalone villas facing the lagoons, and have a semi open-air bathroom, direct beach access, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Serenity Plan: All-Inclusive of: buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Courtyard, plus one visit included at either JustWok or Just Grill, for lunch or dinner, for a one to three-night stay (two visits included, for a four to seven-night stay; three visits included, for an eight to 11-night stay; four visits included for a 12-night stay and above. Pre-booking required, as per availability. Children under 16 years can dine at specialty restaurants during dinner only). Freshly prepared local afternoon snacks at the Hedhikka Hut. A selection of drinks including regular international brands spirits, wines, and beers, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, mineral water, tea and coffee from The Courtyard, JustWok, Just Grill, The Sangs Bar, One Banyan Bar and The Rock. In-room mini-bar (beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks, replenished once per day). Water sports including stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, pedalo rental and snorkelling equipment. One complimentary sunset fishing trip per stay (weather permitting) and one complimentary excursion per stay from a selection. Entertainment (live music three times a week, DJ twice a week). Beach Villas with Pool feature a 13m² private plunge pool, and direct beach access ,with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Water Villas are set over the ocean with direct lagoon access, ocean view bathtub and rain shower, private sundeck with loungers, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Water Villas with pool are the same as water villas, with the addition of an outdoor bed and private pool, featuring 1 king-size bed, sleeping 2 adults.

Honeymoon Select Ocean Villas are intimate over water villas with a private pool, sunset views, and an outdoor shower, sleeping maximum 2 adults. These villas include direct check-in at your villa, welcome bottle of champagne with canapés and fruit platter, dine-around in all three restaurants throughout the stay, one couples massage per stay (for stays of 4 nights or more), special evening turn-down service, dedicated butler service, and in-villa breakfast once during stay.

Two Bedroom Beach Pool Suites feature two open-air bathrooms, spacious living area, direct beach access, veranda with comfy daybed, and a private pool. One master bedroom has 1 king-size bed, with the secondary bedroom featuring twin beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 2 children.

A magical stay at a beautiful, well-managed resort

This was a birthday celebration for my wife and we considered this a trip of a lifetime and it did not disappoint! We had 7 days there and wished we had a few days more! The Highlights: •Amazing service all holiday from the staff. •Food and drink was plentiful and delicious across the property. •Snorkelling mere feet away from the beach and the house reef was amazing - we saw turtles, small sharks and beautiful colourful fish. •Accommodation was comfortable and spacious even for a family of 4 with one teenager and an 8 year old (we stayed in the most basic beach villa) •Evening entertainment with DJ and live band Dee and Jay was awesome and they involved our daughter who got up to songs couple of times! •Spa was lovely with great treatments. •Serenity Plan excellent with amazing food and beverage choices (with great drink options) as well as excursions and spa treatments. •Pool and Beach were pristine and very beautiful. •Our daughter loved the kids club with amazing staff. The Lowlights: •We did a dolphin cruise but saw no dolphins (not the resorts fault - an issue with relying on Mother Nature!) •Excursions and other activities outside of Serenity Plan are pricey. •Boat transfer from the airport was horrible due to weather (high winds and rain) again; not the resorts fault! But worth noting if you have bad weather on transfer days. Transfer back was perfect as a contrast. •My wife found some plastic in her crab cakes at one meal but the staff and chef were very concerned and made a huge effort to ensure we were compensated and that we were satisfied. No complains with how this was handled. •We would have loved a daily activity in the pool (water polo/games etc) but instead made our own entertainment. Just something for an hour each day as a suggestion but just our preference. Our teenager seemed less catered to than our 8 year old. Staff of note who made the holiday special: Executive chef Sandeep Kids Club staff Kelly, Amal, Shaha and Nizaha Bartender Atheeq Chef Ashraf for delicious lunch salads Restaurant hostess Shamsiya Live musicians Dee and Jay And the Sangs Pool DJ (didn’t catch his name!) I hope the resort management honour these staff for their service and hospitality. All in all an awesome, magical stay and we hope to come back some day soon. Read less

Just perfect. Everything. The weather, the sand, the water, the service, the rooms. It was perfect. We saw sharks, turtles and big fish in the water. Only down side is the prices in the shop. Everything else was perfect. The service and food was amazing

he singing bar is very good and the people are very kind, very gentleman, wonderful honeymoon, wonderful holiday, beautiful people, beautiful region, beautiful, they gave us a truly incredible honeymoon, a hotel you should definitely see.

Wow what an experience from booking with Angelfish to the flight and the holiday. Angelfish were really friendly and helpful with advice and recommendations. Their continued personal customer service including the personal postcard on our return home was excellent. Sangeli island itself was outstanding we picked a beach villa for week 1 and a water villa for week 2 and we are so glad we experienced both. It was so special. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and we did not feel that they were just after a tip they genuinely wanted to help. The facilities were amazing and great activities available, some of the trips were very expensive though. We spent the second week in the water villa with pool and it was a short walk to the adult pool where we had a nice served lunch which made a change from the buffet style of eating. That being said the buffet was excellent with a great choice of quality food and drinks. The bar provided entertainment every night the singers and saxophone player were very good. The Island was at half capacity whilst we were there due to the season and it sometimes felt like our own private beach. Even at full it would not feel too busy. We would highly recommend this Island. Read less

Great Place - Highly Recommend It

Great Place, Great People and great Service. We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have stayed in. The food was very good (Just wish the eating places were air-conditioned, I don't like eating and sweating) and we are picky eaters. The all-inclusive is great and the staff is very attentive. Nazeel was our Butler and he was great - I couldn't ask for a nicer guy who made all our arrangements and changed them for us many times as we changed our minds and was always there to pick us up before and after meals in a buggy. Its nice that they include the spa treatments and two excursions in the all-in-inclusive. A lot of traveling to get there (1 hour boat ride, 4 hours from Qatar and 13 hours from New York), but worth the travel time to see some of the best beaches in the world Read less
