Stayed here in January 2021 as did not have many options amidst the COVID pandemic. I can read about the pluses elsewhere (it is still Maldives despite all the minuses). I will tell you the minuses you do not see. 1) The island is surrounded by a stone ring so instead of sea you will see stones on the horizon. This is becomes terrible at low tides. In some places of the island you do not have even space to swim. 2) the hotel has an incinerator for garbage burning. They do it at deep night once a week. Most people do not notice but you will feel and breathe plastic smoke with all toxins. You also swim in the water with all ash. 3) the hotel built ugly concrete columns around the island for no reason 4) the food is average and very overpriced. 5) there are many Russians and this creates disbalance Overall, it is still Maldives with the sun, sea and sand. But at least you understand what you get besides. Read less

It is a beautiful island to have rest and the hotel although old is well thought out. The rooms are cozy and comfortable and have space between each other. The island is surrounded by a ring of stones so be aware if you like to see them everyday. Nevertheless the see life is quite abundant. The biggest disappointment is the treatment of nature at this hotel. First of all, when you come you see the concrete columns from the water. They look really ugly. Second, they burn garbage at night and do it to hide it from the guests at 03.00 am. If you are sensitive you will not be able to sleep as you can feel the burnt plastic. The toxic smoke is everywhere. I took pictures of this incinerator at day and it also works although not as heavy as at night. So think whether you can stay at this hotel. It is good but has its drawbacks, which nobody would tell you before your arrival. Read less

We fly tonight at 11pm from male but they are making us leave at check out at 12 with no food or drink aloud from 12 even tho we don't get the boat until 2 pm and they know we don't fly until 11pm, which means we have no food for 11 hours , they wanted 42 us dollars so we could have a buffet lunch but also the sunset bar charges after 6 as well for drinks. This place has the nicest staff but is not a true all inclusive I feel, as we travel often and have been to proper all inclusive resort and this is not that. Would we come back no is it a nice place yes amazing but so badly managed that I would never come to one of there resorts again which is sad because they have missed the little things that make the difference,I am leaving today with a bad feeling in my head which should not of happened Read less

As you can read from the title , I will start straightaway. Room: Stayed in room 122 for 8 nights. The room is spacious and has all the basic amenities that you would need for your vacation. Room service is twice a day and they fill the water bottle, thermos and also the water heater, so you have plenty of water throughout the day. The beach towels are changed daily and the beach in front is gorgeous with black tip shark swimming around every morning. Food: We took Half board and we felt it was more than enough. Good variety of food in breakfast and dinner buffet. However, if you are vegetarian, the options are not so much and basic. However, the restaurant manager Sachin is very friendly and will do everything to make your dining experience great. Bar: The drinks were reasonably priced. Most cocktails range between 10$- 12$ and the most expensive drink on the menu was 18$. The happy hour is from 05:30-06:30 pm with 20% discount. Activities: We went for the Turtle snorkeling and cannot recommend it enough. It costs 75$ per person for 90mins trip and it was totally worth it. They have Canoe that you can rent for free for an hour. We also did snorkeling around the hotel, the snorkeling gear (mask, life jacket, fins) were 10$ for 7hrs. It is totally worth it. lastly, we had the most wonderful time, specially in light of Corona and were very impressed the way management handled everything. All the staff always wearing masks, body temp checked everyday both for staffs and guests. Overall, I would recommend this property to all my friends and family. Thanks again for everything.
