Where is it

Situated on Meedhuffushi Island in the South Nilandhe Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 35 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Beach Villas with Pool are located on the beach with a private pool, swinging sofa on the beach, outdoor shower, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Reef Villas are overwater villas featuring with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Sunset Reef Villas are the same as above, facing in the direction of the sunset.

Water Villas with Pool are overwater villas featuring a private pool and overwater hammock, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Grand Water Villas with Pool feature a private infinity edge swimming pool on an oversized sun deck, ocean views and steps down to the lagoon. With 1 king-size bed, separate lounge area and a bathroom with separate shower, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Two Bedroom Water Villa with Pool - situated at the end of the overwater jetty, features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room with dining area. Plus outside features a private pool, daybed, loungers and dining table.

We have been at Vilu Reef in October 24 for our honeymoon with an Emerald all inclusive package and we couldn’t be more happy about our choice. Needless to say, the place is a heaven on earth. The island is in my opinion of the right size: not too small to feel crowded with guests and to have few options to move around and not too big to walk miles from point to point. When we arrived, we had a warm welcome from the staff and a quick briefing from our point-of-contact, Shamzoon (which we thank for the availability and kindness). We have slept in the reef villa, which have all comforts and are well designed to have privacy (guests for example cannot go near them with kayak or sup and boats flor few times, very far). The staff member who was dedicated to our villa, Ferdous, was incredibly kind and precise, coming twice per day to keep everything clean and perfect. The food is very good in every restaurant but especially at the “Well done”, where we had the opportunity to eat several times, including the lobster feast on the Saturday (delicious!). A big thank also to Dilshad who waited our table always with a friendly word and smile. During our stay we also had the opportunity to try the spa and the water sports activity. All above experiences exceeded our expectations although they are a bit pricey. But, all in all, the context explains it rather well. In short, we really recommend the place and thank all the staff for helping creating such beautiful memories of our honeymoon. We hope to come back soon! Read less

We chose a heavenly place to spend our honeymoon and we couldn't have spent our first days as husband and wife better. The island is incredible and the friendliness of all the staff is noteworthy, always with a greeting and a genuine smile on their faces. Who knows, maybe we'll come back one day.

The honeymoon cake we received was delicious as well as the sunset dolphin cruise was speachless. Here we found the best sea in the world, a true gem in a paradise. We truly enjoyed every single minute here, from massage at the Spa (the best massage ever) to Watersports. The flyboard session was unbelievable, as well as jet ski and wakeboard, thank you to all water sports team member. We will definitely miss this place. Read less

October 2024 The beach villa was really great. We enjoyed our private pool and the fantastic view. Everything was perfectly organized and the villa was really clean thanks to the kind hosting of Sahib and Adhu. We booked the summer special including several activities like the dolphin boat tour.

Truly amazing experience. From landing to Male to arriving at the resort everything was very smooth. We were welcomed by our host Niyaaf. He is extremely professional and accommodating to the requests. He made sure we feel good during our stay and we had all the necessary information for our trip to be relaxing. The resort itself is filled with amazing staff. We had the full board plan and had our meals at Aqua. The service is amazing. People are friendly and caring. We want to highlight Vijay for his attention and his care for us and our daughter. Manish who was always welcoming us with a smile and even got to know our favorite meals. Younous the chef who made us delicious meals. Villas are spacious and clean. We had the beach villa with pool and it was so quiet and peaceful. Direct access to the reef for scuba diving and private pool to relax away from others (even though the main pool never had more than 5 people in it). Habib did and amazing job cleaning our villa and bringing little sweets to our daughter who was impatiently waiting for him everyday. I would recommend the scuba diving. Andrei is a fun and professional instructor. Made sure I felt at ease during our excursion. In general this was an amazing trip.
