We stayed at Villa Park in June with a kid and the whole experience was great. Before the trip we booked Lagoon villa, but afterwards our room was upgraded to Lagoon villa with jacuzzi for the whole duration of stay. Big thanks to our manager Cindy for this opportunity. We had full board and for us it was the best option, since we are not big fans of alcohol. There was a big variety of food - overall, we enjoyed it. Most of all, I would like to thank all of the members of Kids Club, especially Farida. Before arrival we knew that Resord had its own Kids Club, but actually it exceeded our expectations. Each of the member of kids club was very attentive not only to our child, but to all of the kids. The program for different and our kid was playing, drawing, dancing and going to different master classes (including pizza cooking). For him it was a favorite place in the Resort. The weather in June was actually not as bad, as we thought it might be. We had 2 days of rain in our 9 days stay. To conclude, I would recommend this Resort to everyone, especially to family with kids. Zeinel Read less

My wife and I recently spent six delightful days at Villa Park, celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary. This was our second visit to this splendid resort, and once again, it did not disappoint. We stayed in the "Sun Villa" at room 549, and we were thoroughly impressed and delighted by our experience. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The "Sun Villa" is enormous, boasting a private courtyard with an outdoor bath and shower. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring I had no back pain throughout our stay. The twice-daily housekeeping service was impeccable, a luxury not often found in other hotels. We were also pleasantly surprised by the anniversary gift from the hotel – a mango cake and a bottle of fine red wine, which provided the perfect start to our vacation, especially after a long flight. Although our villa was not beachfront, the walk to the sea took just a couple of minutes, only a few steps more than if we had stayed in a beach villa. This minor inconvenience was easily outweighed by the villa's other advantages. One of the standout features of our stay was the exceptional service provided by our personal manager, Madame Khushbu. As an experienced traveler, I can recognize when someone excels in their job, and Khushbu was exemplary. Her professionalism and responsiveness were outstanding. She addressed all our queries comprehensively and efficiently. Whether we needed an extra blanket and sheet, information about the resort's amenities, or help booking spa appointments, Khushbu handled everything with grace and efficiency. Her dedication significantly enhanced our stay, as we always knew we could rely on her. Thank you, Madame Khushbu, for your high level of professionalism – you are a shining example of how staff in such positions should perform. The beach itself was stunning. The island is vast, and all the beaches are pristine, well-maintained, and free of debris. I never wore coral shoes and walked barefoot everywhere, including the resort's inner paths, without fear of injury. The island's size is such that we couldn't explore all of it during our stay! The starry night sky was breathtaking, and an interesting fact is that this island, despite being in the Northern Hemisphere, is so close to the equator that neither the North Star nor the Southern Cross is visible, adding a unique charm. The sea was magical with its crystal-clear waters. We preferred the northern side of the island, where the water is deeper. There's a noticeable current around the island, likely due to the "bottle neck" effect created by a nearby island. While this current is manageable, especially with fins, it's worth noting that there's no large reef here, although the hotel is working on cultivating one on the southern side. This process takes time, and swimming is restricted in that area. Nevertheless, there's plenty of fish to see, especially if you venture a bit from the shore, where schools of fish gather around remnants of the old reef or budding coral. A full-face snorkel mask, fins, and hand paddles are highly recommended. Moreover, the absence of intrusive lifeguards, who often shout at swimmers to return to shore, was a refreshing change. You can swim freely and enjoy the water to your heart's content, which greatly contributed to my relaxation. Regarding the spa, although I didn't get a massage this time for personal reasons, my wife, who is a massage enthusiast, opted for the "Voyager" treatment. This deep tissue massage was more than just a gentle rub; it was a thorough muscle and joint workout. She was ecstatic about the experience, claiming it might have been the best massage she's ever had. We later discovered that the resort's spa frequently wins awards in various competitions. We then enjoyed a relaxing bath together, which was incredibly romantic. The treatments took place in a private, Asian-style garden, transporting us into what felt like an ancient Chinese series. As for dining, we only visited the main restaurant during this stay. The restaurant is spacious, with a pleasant terrace opening onto the beach, perfect for evening dining. While certain staples like vegetables and various condiments were consistently available, the meat dishes varied daily. I particularly enjoyed the Mongolian chicken and delicious meatballs in the Asian cuisine section on our last day. Water was always served in whole bottles, and all the food was tasty and of high quality, with nothing being unappetizing. A delightful heron often visited the terrace during lunch, and feeding it tuna (but not bread) was a charming experience. Another highlight was the freedom to take a cup of coffee outside the restaurant to enjoy by the water, without anyone monitoring or reprimanding us, unlike other hotels. We were pleasantly surprised by the party organized for repeat guests. It was an unexpected and delightful event where we had the chance to chat with the manager and learn about the upcoming beach villa expansions, which we look forward to trying on our next visit. Our departure was also noteworthy. With an early morning flight from Malé, our check-out was scheduled for either 3 or 5 AM. Fortunately, we got the latter, allowing us some extra sleep and minimal wait time for our domestic flight, which quickly transferred us to our main flight. The early breakfast provided everything we needed, including juices, coffee, and snacks, giving us a good start to the day. Regarding the arrival and departure procedures, the resort is quite remote, requiring a domestic flight followed by a boat ride. The resort organizes everything, and the domestic flight takes just about 20 minutes on a lovely ATR 72-600, followed by a 10-minute boat ride. However, the waiting time for the domestic flight in Malé can be up to 4-5 hours, depending on your arrival time, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, this was the best vacation I've had in the Maldives, and I have plenty to compare it with. Even during the booking process, our agent highlighted the high return rate of guests at this resort, and now I understand why. I must also request the hotel to provide the name and model of their mattress because I seriously want to purchase the same one for myself. This stay at Villa Park was truly unforgettable, and we look forward to returning in the future. Read less

The staff were great, especially our contact person Eliza looked after us really well. We really enjoyed our time in the main restaurant with Rauf, a real Maldivian, and learnt a lot about the Maldives. The pool service is also great and the selection of drinks is huge, Aaisa always provided us with top catering here. The snorkelling tour is also highly recommended. One of our highlights was dinner in the Italian restaurant, where we were able to marvel at a manta ray! Read less
