Coin de Mire Attitude

Mauritius, Indian Ocean

The hotel

This intimate hotel offers simple wholesome Mauritian hospitality and sits in lush, tropical gardens, across the road from a lovely beach. There is a generous array of activities and sports on offer, and make sure you discover some of the hotel's Otentik experiences — a Mauritian cookery class, maybe a home-cooked dinner in local home or enjoy local music and sega dancing at sunset. Alternatively, there are two lovely pools, an outdoor terrace and a spa offering a range of signature treatments, making it a little bit too easy to do absolutely nothing! The cosy guest rooms have a cool and contemporary style, just ready and waiting for you to kick back and relax in.

I am on day 10 of my quarantine stay in Coin de Mire and it has been a very smooth and relaxing stay. I am here with my 6 year old and there is plenty of space on the private balcony to play around. Lots of trees, a beautiful view, lovely birds, palm trees and coconut trees. Very peaceful. The room is clean and comfy, we are provided with all basic things and cleaning accessories, nothing to complain about. For any concern, I just call on the reception and am immediately attended to. Food is very nice and served on time. Special thanks to chef Moorghen for preparing light and delicious meals for my little one. A big thank you to all the hardworking staff, specially Gangesh, Karine, Vish, Jevin and all others whom I do not know the names yet:) All our needs and requirements are taken very seriously and any demand promptly arranged. Gangesh has been very helpful and kind. And Karine has made sure my child's food arrives on time. Thank you. All in all a really pleasant stay. Feels more like a vacation than a quarantine stay thanks to the wonderful staff. 5 stars from me! Room 415 Read less

The hotel is alright but the service provided during quarantine was great. The hotel does need a renovation as it is clearly outdated. The food and services by the workers are on point. The request we put forward was fulfilled by Gangesh and his crew throughout our stay
