Coin de Mire Attitude

Mauritius, Indian Ocean

The hotel

This intimate hotel offers simple wholesome Mauritian hospitality and sits in lush, tropical gardens, across the road from a lovely beach. There is a generous array of activities and sports on offer, and make sure you discover some of the hotel's Otentik experiences — a Mauritian cookery class, maybe a home-cooked dinner in local home or enjoy local music and sega dancing at sunset. Alternatively, there are two lovely pools, an outdoor terrace and a spa offering a range of signature treatments, making it a little bit too easy to do absolutely nothing! The cosy guest rooms have a cool and contemporary style, just ready and waiting for you to kick back and relax in.

Really couldn't fault this hotel during our two week stay. Hotel layout and facilities, staff and food were all excellent. A/C and ceiling fan in our room were both very quiet. I got a wonderful view from a terrace to coconut trees and althrough sea is over a road, you can stay there for a while enjoying activities organized by the hotel. Or you can just walk on the beach to nearby cities, and to the Cap Malheureux it is a little adventure :) I certainly recommend a catamaran trip and swim with the turtles and small fishes, its cheps, good and comfortable shore sail. I  didnt like swim with dolphins, it was like a hunt to catch them. But that was not organized by hotel Also you can take a romantic dinner at a hotel restaurant Le Cap. I enjoyed a lobster menu and waiters Gangesta, Christina and Kevin tried to make it as pleasant as possible. Wish all best to all. Read less
