Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool. We had an issue with our room and spoke to Ms. Shirley, Sales Director about it. The way she dealt with that was amazing. We were super impressed. Long Beach is so lucky to have people like her working for them. Her hospitality is world class.

What a great resort ! First holiday post COVID ! We wanted just to relax and that’s what we have done ! Once you click into the vibe of the resort it’s easy, we have travelled a lot and found here the staff leave you alone until You engage with them then they can’t do enough for you! Special mention to Raj in the Italian what a great guy. Sarah by the pool, you know when she is on shift as everything is looked after she is so kind and thoughtful a real asset. Jenny at breakfast - what a super star just brilliant. Gayetree - Tides - brilliant so kind and respectful. Kumar - an absolute legend !!!!! The beach is lovely and they guys serving were great, the beach is cleaned every day which is nice to see. Pool was a bit busy for us but looked great for kids. Buffet was very good not repetitive and great quality. We didn’t have any problems with bugs or animals, we have dogs at home so didn’t mind the dogs infact they sat with us on the beach most days, the staff told us they are fed each day which is good to hear. The beach sellers are great they don’t bother you - they are just doing their job! I don’t like to see people being rude to staff I think we all need to remember we are post pandemic and most industries are adjusting to staffing issues and getting back to some normality !!!! Only negative was the concierge on the few times we interacted with them they were just rude ! My only suggestion would be - as we have seen this in many other all inclusive resorts - is an itinerary board or information leaflet with what is going on daily / weekly as we are sure we missed things or even notifications of work being done such as when the coconut trees are being cut a warning that some Of the beach will be shut ! We never understood the problems with sunbeds ! But we were always early Read less

We are on the final day of a ten day holiday here at Long Beach and have had a fantastic time. The beach is other level amazing - so beautiful, huge selection of bed types, beautiful sand and sea. The food is amazing, unlike a lot of all-inclusive resorts you can eat at the a La carte restaurants as many times as you like during your stay. We had no issues booking and actually only ate at the buffet at breakfast time and once for dinner. If you don’t have children, ask to sit in the Italian for the breakfast buffet - it makes a huge difference! Breakfast selection is great, pancakes are amazing! Lunch too is great, choice of tides or the Italian restaurant. We loved the Italian where you could have a full 3 course meal at lunch. Chopsticks and Hasu serve absolutely gorgeous food. Hasu is well worth paying for (it isn’t on all inclusive - the sushi is incredible!). The rooms aren’t the best, definitely in need of some love. However, we spent barely any time in our room so it didn’t have too much of an impact. We had a “sea view” room but I think the advertising for that should change, you can literally see an inch of sea between trees. The rooms make this a 4 star. If you are visiting, pack mosquito repellent! We didn’t and whilst the clinic were super helpful and gave us creams etc. you will need it. We only found out toward the end of the holiday that every room should have a plug in repellent in it, so check for that when you arrive - we didn’t have one initially. The beach and the pool me are great, people do reserve beds but mainly just at the adult only infinity pool and there were always beds available. We spent most of our time at the adult only pool and were always able to get a bed at 08:30am. No different to any other resort we have stayed at. The hotel offers free kayaking, snorkelling and glass boat trips. The guys at the boat house are super friendly. If you want to do the sunrise kayak book quickly as they only do this on a Tuesday and spaces are limited. We went on a five island speed boat excursion, booked through Samuel and Monica who have a booth on the beach here - it was amazing! Highly recommend, the lobster and shrimp served on the trip was honestly the best I have ever tasted. Used the gym (less than we should have!), it is really well equipped; good selection of dumbbells, smith machine, less press, cable set up, chest press, cable pull down, shoulder press, spin bikes, treadmills etc. the guys there are super friendly too. The staff are all so friendly and polite, they cannot do enough for you. There were some who really did shine, who went over and above whenever we encountered them: - Avi who served our drinks at the pool, he always arrived just as your drink was finished and had a smile on his face at all times. - Ritesh at the Italian restaurant. Another one who seemed to be running the show, working hard yet always had time to make sure we were happy. - Lola, whenever she was around (breakfast, lunch or dinner) there was an air of calm, she was super friendly and always went out of her way to ensure you were comfortable. - Kumar who served drinks in the evening. Nothing was ever too much trouble and another one who was always warm and there at the exact moment you needed him. - Sara. When she was looking after the pool toilets, you knew. They were so clean, she put flowers on the basins and always took an interest in how your holiday was going. Pool toilets are usually a bit grim, but Sara made sure that wasn’t the case and with a smile on her face. - Elvis at Hasu who went above and beyond to make a special evening (engagement) perfect. The head chef at Hasu also went out of his way to come out and congratulate us too which was lovely. - At the boat house, Nicolas and Anthony were super stars really informative and friendly. - Last but not least, Ryan and Michael at Chopsticks. Ryan is a huge asset to the hotel, he knows the menu like the back of his hand, he builds great rapport with all guests, is attentive and friendly. Same goes for Michael, who always made sure we were comfortable and looked after us well. The only things that I would say need slight improvement are: - The rooms need a spruce up, there should be an iron in every room as standard (it was quite annoying having to call housekeeping to bring one each evening), there were ants in our room and also a couple of cockroaches (weirdly some already dead) which we appreciate happens but it was more than you would expect. - The WiFi needs upgrading, very hit and miss. - Better evening entertainment throughout the week (amazing at the weekend but hit and miss during the week) - A better welcome pack, tell people where to make restaurant reservations, where and how to book onto free trips, where the pools are, how to make spa reservations, and which way is best to walk from their room (it’s a big place!). - I don’t have a problem with dogs or cats but staff at least making an effort to keep them out of the restaurants would be good, not everyone likes this. - The shop in the hotel is extortionate. Overall, a wonderful stay and a fantastic holiday. Read less

My wife and I had an an amazing week stay at the Longbeach resort on our honeymoon. Pros - [ ] The staff were amazing, as they were really friendly and attentive. Special mention to Nadia who met us at the reception, Chef Sanjay, Ben and Samia. - [ ] My wife is allergic to certain nuts and chef Sanjay and his staff took their time to show us what she could and could not eat. - [ ] Our room was lovely and clean and the facilities including the spa were excellent. - [ ] Excellent food and drink choices in the All Inclusive package in the restaurants and the buffet was very good. - [ ] We enjoyed the pools, especially the adult pool. Also, it was lovely to have views of the beach and sea. Cons - [ ] Allergens were not labelled on food choices for the evening buffet and breakfast buffet, so choosing what to eat was made more difficult. - [ ] Stray dogs roaming in the resort is a big issue! This needs to be taken more seriously and addressed for health and safety reasons, especially since many young children stay at the resort. - [ ] Having to constantly sign for All Inclusive food and drink became tiresome. Why not have wrist bands for All Inclusive like other resorts? - [ ] The gecko lizards entering our hotel room were an issue for us. - [ ] The resort DJ played the same songs every night so more variety is needed.
