The hotel

Nestled in beautiful tropical gardens, Paradise Cove Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous adults-only boutique hotel, offering guests a secluded retreat from the world. Aptly named, it really is paradise here with a pristine white beach and exceptional views of the lagoon and the northern islands from the peninsula. Highly romantic, the resort even offers ‘love nest’ twin sun beds. Also recommended is a visit to Spa Cinq Mondes. Not only does it boast a pool, hammam and flower baths, you can treat yourself to an Indian Ayurvedic massage — sure to banish any lingering cares! At the Paradise Cove, water sports are very much the order of the day, from snorkelling to water-skiing. Come dusk, Stay Bar is the place to sip on tropical cocktails whilst admiring the sunset. There’s live and unplugged music here too but first enjoy dinner at a choice of restaurants. For local dishes, the Dining Room is ideal or experience Asian fusion cuisine at XO. For a real treat, book a table at The Cove — highly romantic, tables for two are set in small huts, right on the beach, beside a coconut grove.

Even if the space alone speaks for itself, the complex is really just something for the eye, it is architecturally well planned. You can see different beautiful things in every place and great attention has been paid to detail. This is the only hotel in Mauritius that has made us come back so far. The self-described "place made of places" is made by the people there and it really succeeds excellently. A big thank you to Sandhya, Michael, Kumari, Christian and all the others who constantly strive and put a lot of work into the hotel and their guests. Read less

We visited for 11 nights in March, from the minute we arrived we loved it, the welcome was friendly and we were soon taken to our beautiful rooms, the bed was huge and the room had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We had a gorgeous view of the cove from our room. The food served at all the restaurants was top class it was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. We booked in at XO and Peninsular, for one evening each and would have loved to return to peninsular but ran out of days. the dining room for evening meals was also lovely with some buffet and some a la carte but all presented well and waiting staff were top class. We dined at Stay and Peninsular for lunch and every time it was fabulous. u celebrated a special Birthday while there and was presented with a lovely cake in my room and Also a cake made out of towels which was a lovely touch. All staff were wonderful and it would be unfair to name some and not all as every person we came across provided top service with a smile. We did leave tips but it was not necessary but appreciated. I had a wonderful massage at the spa as a present from My kids who were able to contact the hotel and pay up front for this which was a lovely surprise We went on the glass bottom boat trip from the hotel which was lovely (and free). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff including providing milk for our tea and booking external trips for us (we did SolarSea Walk from Grand Bay which was amazing). I would say this is a perfect couples retreat although there were 4 of us we were very well looked after and would recommend staying here if visiting Mauritius Read less

The hotel itself is just beautiful, clean, well designed, and has the most beautiful gardens. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always smiling and will remember what you drink when you go to the bar, water and ice just appear when you are lying on the sun beds by a wonderful guy called Michael. The rooms are just immaculate. Cannot fault the hotel, staff, position of the hotel (fantastic sunsets), cleanliness, friendliness our holiday was just perfect. Christian, the manager must be very proud to be managing not only a fabulous hotel but to have an fabulous team working in the hotel. Can't wait to go back in the future Read less

We had a fantastic stay at Paradise Cove. The staff were attentive, helpful and made us very comfortable during our stay. There was plenty of choice for food. We were on our honeymoon and enjoyed a candlelight dinner at The Cove, as well as a fantastic meal at XO sushi restaurant. Everything was in one resort and provided excellent quality. Our drinks of choice were the frozen mango daiquiri and the frozen watermelon. Very tasty and refreshing by the sun struck ocean view. My wife and I would recommend Paradise Cove to anyone after a relaxing getaway in the sun or for any honeymooners (don’t worry, you won’t be overwhelmed by loved up couples, either). Thank you to everyone who made this a stay to remember! Read less
