Staff are generally incredible, some grumpy so I chatted to everyone, smiled lots and thanked everyone constantly. Very beautiful people. I slept 12 hrs every night. Wi-fi on the beach so I took my phone & MacBook. Very safe and I sat on a huge bean bag under the trees. Towels out before breakfast and I was very happy. Long travel but worth it! Read less

All the information of the hotel is on their website and that will tell you all you need to know, but what is not on their website, what you can only experience in person is the warmth, friendliness and efficiency of ALL the staff from arrival through to farewells. The expectations of anyone when arriving at any hotel, is cleanliness, food, drink & guest facilities, this beach hotel delivered all to a great standard. The staff are the icing on the cake. Oliver & Dianne get a mention as their names are the easiest to remember, however its fair to say that our interaction with all hotel staff throughout our stay was fantastic and not mentioning them all by name no way diminishes how they all are a credit to this hotel. Love that they feed the stray dogs and give them water every day out the back ! Garden view room was beautiful and tropical. Food was lovely with great variety. High beds (but so comfy). Small family feel hotel which was lovely. Sea life was great - lots of Moorish Idles, two turtles. Windy with strongish sea current on only one of the mornings, but still managed to snorkel just fine. Lovely quiet area surrounded by nature. Personally preferred the quieter, no boats and more rugged setting on east coast to the touristy busy west coast (though west coast very still turquoise sea). I'd choose relaxing east coast to stay any day with occasional day trips to west coast (Troux / Turtle Bay) and south (Blue Bay). Read less
